C’est la destination Canadienne la plus au nord de la Colombie Britannique. La neige y est
légère et abondante : 22 mètres saison 2013 !
Le secteur est immense et sauvage. Les possibilités sont variées : skis dans le terrain montagne et en cas de mauvais temps ski dans les forêts ouvertes.
Vous avez la possibilité entre deux Lodges : Bell II (Smithers) et Ripley Creek (Terrace), ce
sont deux Lodges très confortable.
Votre séjour débute tout d’abord par un voyage entre votre domicile et Vancouver. Ensuite
par un vol intérieur jusqu’au Smithers ou Terrace. Il vous faudra être patient pour pouvoir
chausser vos skis ! 4 heures de transfert par bus jusqu’au Lodge de votre choix initial sur la
route de l’Alaska.
Canada is the most northern destination of British Columbia. The paradise of powder and
tremendously abundant snowfall records: 22 meters in the 2013 season!
It is a very vast and wild area. The possibilities of skiing areas are many and varied, ranging
from downhill wide slopes to paths in the large and open forests, in case of bad weather.
You can choose between two logdes: Bell II (Smithers) and Ripley Creek (Terrace), both
comfortable accommodations.
Your journey begins with a first transfer to Vancouver, then a domestic flight from there to
Smithers or Terrace. You’ll have to be patient before you can put your skis on! ... It still takes
you a 4-hour-bus transfer to reach your lodge on the way to Alaska.
E’ la destinazione canadese più a nord della British Columbia, caratterizzata da una neve molto soffice e leggera, e soprattutto abbondante: 22 metri nella sola stagione 2013!
Si tratta di zona molto vasta e selvaggia. Le possibilità di terreno di sci sono molteplici e
diverse, dalle discese sulle cime delle montagne, ai percorsi nelle ampie e aperte foreste in
caso di maltempo.
Avete la possibilità di scelta tra due Logdes: Bell II (Smithers) e Ripley Creek (Terrace), sistemazioni entrambe molto confortevoli.
Il vostro viaggio ha inizio con un primo trasferimento tra il vostro domicilio e Vancouver. Poi,
un volo interno fino a Smithers o Terrace. Dovrete essere pazienti, prima di mettere gli sci ai
piedi! …ci vogliono ancora 4 ore di trasferimento in autobus per raggiungere il vostro Lodge
sulla strada verso l’ Alaska.

Les séjours sont du Vendredi au Vendredi de chaque semaine. Vous devez arriver un jour avant à Vancouver car
les vols pour Smithers et Terrace partent très tôt le matin, donc une nuit à Vancouver s’impose, au Fairmont Airport Hôtel.
Trips are from Friday to Friday each week. Since flights to
Smithers or Terrace depart very early in the morning, you
need to get to Vancouver a day earlier and spend a night
at the Vancouver Fairmont Airport Hotel.
Le vendredi matin vous partez pour Smithers ou Terrace.
Environ 2 heures de vol, suivi d’un transfert en bus pour
Bell II ou Ripley Creek, en 4 et 3 heures, respectivement.
Arrivée au Lodge vers 15:30, heure locale.
Votre chalet vous attend en chambre single ou double.
Après un briefing complet avec vos guides sur la sécurité
et l’organisation, la semaine d’heliski peut commencer !
Les diners sont servis dans le restaurant principal par
groupe d’affinité. La cuisine est riche et raffinée, les repas
de midi sont servis sous forme de pique-nique dans la
montagne, et en rentrant au Lodge un snack vous est
proposé.
Au Lodge vous avez accés au spa, sauna, salle de stretching,
bar, salon, billards…
Prix : $ 11.350 CAD par personne (8.600 EUR suivant la cour de la devise $ CAD), comprenant :
- Transferts (en bus) entre Smithers et Bell II, ou Terrace et Ripley Creek.
- Pension complète (du snack pris dans le bus du premier jour, au déjeuner pris au Lodge le dernier jour).
- 7 jours heliski - forfait 30.500 mètres de dénivellation.
- 1 guide guide qualifié de haute montagne (UIAGM Union Internationale des Associations de Guides de
Montagnes) par groupe de 5 personnes.
- Matériels de ski : skis larges, bâtons et chaussures
de ski.
- Matériels de sécurité : sac ABS complet avec Pelle et
Sonde + ARVA de dernière génération.
Ne comprenant pas :
- Vols (A/R) entre votre domicile et Vancouver et Smithers ou Terrace (nous pouvons vous l’organiser).
- L’hôtel à Vancouver le jour de votre arrivée, Fairmont Airport Hôtel, et votre hôtel à Hudson Bay
Lodge à Smithers ou le Best Western à Terrace, le jour
du départ.
- Dénivellations supplémentaires, $ 134,30 CAD (102
EUR) par 1.000 mètres supplémentaires.
- Frais d’ordre personnel (téléphone, internet, boissons, massage, extra…).
- Assurance annulation/rapatriement (obligatoire).
- Frais de Visa.
Conditions Particulières
Si vous ne pouvez pas skier vos 30.500 mètres de dénivellation à cause d’une mauvaise météo, panne d’hélicoptère/
impossibilité de voler (seule ces deux raisons sont valables),
nous vous remboursons $ 134,30 CAD par 1.000 mètres
non consommés. Par contre aucun remboursement ne sera
acceptés du fait d’un retard au rendez vous du départ du
matin, d’un abandon de skier lors d’une journée entamée.
Friday morning we leave for Smithers or Terrace. After 2
hours‘ flight, you will get a coach to reach Bell II or Ripley
Creek (4 and 3 hours’ trip, respectively). The check in at
the Lodge will be around 3:00 pm, local time.
At your Lodge you can get an accommodation in a single
or double room. After the check-in and a briefing with
your guide on safety and organization, the week of heli
skiing can begin at last!
Meals are served in the main restaurant with your group.
The cuisine is rich and refined. Lunches instead are served in the form of a picnic in the mountains, and before
returning to the Lodge after your heli skiing you will be
offered a snack.
At the Lodge, you have access to a spa with sauna,
stretching room, bar and lounge area...
Price: $ 11,350 CAD per person (EUR 8,600, according to the current exchange rate). The fee includes:
- Ground transfers (by bus) between Smithers and
Bell II Lodge or Terrace and Ripley Creek.
- Meals, from lunch provided during the bus trip on
the first day, to breakfast on the last day at the Lodge.
- 7 heli skiing days; package 30,500 vertical meters.
- 1 qualified high mountain guide (UIAGM - International Union of Mountain Guides Associations) every
5 people.
- Ski equipment: large skis, sticks and boots.
- Safety equipment: ABS backpack complete with shovel and probe + next generation ARVA transceiver.
It does not include:
- Roundtrip flights from your home to Vancouver and
domestic flights to Smithers or Terrace (we can arrange it for you).
- Overnight stay in Vancouver the day of your arrival,
at the Fairmont Airport Hotel; and at the Hudson Bay
Lodge in Smithers or the Best Western in Terrace on
the day of departure.
- Heli skiing extra runs, $ 134.30 CAD (EUR 102) for
every 1,000 vertical meters.
- Personal expenses (telephone, internet, drinks, massages, extra ...)
Travel cancellation/early departure insurance (required).
- Fees for Visa services
Special Conditions
In the event that your vertical meters guarantee is not
reached because of bad weather, which prevents us from
flying, or because of mechanical breakdown (these are the
only two reasons for a refund), we will refund you $134.30
CAD/1,000m vertical meters ($42.30 CAD /1,000ft vertical feet). No refund is given, in whole or in part, for unused
days or transportation, resulting from your late arrival or early
departure. If you should decide not to ski at all one day, for
whatever reason, or if you decide to stop skiing early one day
and you do not reach your guaranteed vertical distance, there
will be no refund.

I viaggi sono da Venerdì a Venerdì di ogni settimana. Poiché i voli per Smithers o Terrace partono molto presto la mattina, è necessario arrivare a Vancouver un giorno prima e prevedere
una notte al Vancouver Fairmont Airport Hotel.
Venerdì mattina si parte per Smithers o Terrace.
Circa 2 ore di volo, e in seguito un trasferimento
in pullman fino a Bell II o Ripley Creek. Arrivo in
circa 4 e 3 ore di viaggio, rispettivamente e checkin al Lodge verso le 15:30 ora locale.
Al vostro Lodge vi aspetta una sistemazione in camera singola o doppia. Dopo il check-in e un briefing con la vostra guida sulla sicurezza e l’organizzazione, la settimana di heliski può cominciare!
Le cene sono servite nel ristorante principale in
compagnia del vostro gruppo. La cucina è ricca e raffinata. I pranzi sono serviti invece in forma di pic-nic
tra le montagne, e al rientro in Lodge dopo le escursioni di heliski vi verrà offerta una merenda.
Al Lodge avete accesso al centro benessere con sauna,
sala stretching, zona bar e lounge, biliardo ...
Prezzo: $ 11.350 CAD a persona (8.600 EUR, secondo il tasso di cambio corrente). La quota include:
- Il trasferimento (in pullman) tra Smithers e Bell II o
Terrace e Ripley Creek.
- Pensione completa, dal pranzo al sacco durante il
viaggio in pullman il primo giorno, fino alla colazione
dell’ultimo giorno al Lodge.
- 7 giorni di heliski, pacchetto 30.500 metri di dislivello.
- 1 guida di alta montagna qualificata (UIAGM - Unione
internazionale delle associazioni di guide di montagna)
ogni 5 persone.
- Attrezzatura da sci: sci larghi, bastoni e scarponi.
- Materiale di sicurezza: zaino ABS completo di pala e sonda + ricetrasmettitore ARVA di ultima generazione.
Non include:
- I voli (A/R) dal vostro domicilio a Vancouver, e i voli interni per Smithers o Terrace (possiamo organizzarli per voi).
- Il pernottamento a Vancouver il giorno della vostra partenza, al Fairmont Airport Hotel, e l’albergo Hudson Bay
Lodge a Smithers o il Best Western a Terrace, il giorno del
rientro.
- Rotazioni supplementari di heliski, $ 134,30 CAD (102
EUR) per ogni 1.000 metri supplementari.
- Spese personali (telefono, internet, bevande, massaggi, extra
...).
- Assicurazione in caso di annullamento viaggio/rimpatrio anticipato (obbligatoria).
- Spese per marche da bollo e pratiche per il Visto.
Condizioni Particolari
Qualora non si potesse sciare per i 30.500 metri previsti, causa maltempo, o per impossibilità a volare/elicottero in panne (solo questi due motivi
sono valevoli), rimborseremo $ 134,30 CAD per ogni 1.000 metri non
effettuati. Per contro non è previsto alcun rimborso in caso di un ritardo
all’appuntamento per la partenza del mattino, o di defezione da parte dei
partecipanti nel corso di una giornata di sci iniziata.
