Protective chin guard and wind protector
The innovative X-402 is changed into X-402 GT. "GT" stands for "Grand Touring", the
true soul of this jet model. The removable protective chin guard has passed the
homologation tests required by the ECE regulations for full-face helmets (P/J approval).
A simple and practical fastening system allows you to transform X-402 GT from open-face
to full-face and the other way round. The new design of the upper air intakes makes their
activation easier and more intuitive, even when wearing motorbike gloves. Such innovations
turn the X-402 GT into a multifunctional helmet, offering the highest possible comfort
and protection in any season, thus providing the best possible visibility in all use conditions.
A valuable alternative, changing the entire scenario of traditional motorbike helmet models.

Anche X-402 GT beneficia dei
vantaggi derivanti dall’impiego di tre
diverse misure di calotta esterna, per le sei
taglie disponibili (XS-S, M-L, XL-XXL). In
tal modo, peso e volume del casco (quindi,
la sua resistenza aerodinamica) sono
sempre contenuti e proporzionati alla taglia
del pilota.

X-402 GT also benefits from the
advantages that come from using three
different measurements of outer shell
for the six available helmet sizes (XS-S,
M-L, XL-XXL). This way, helmet’s weight
and volume of the helmet (and hence its
aerodynamic resistance) are kept to a
minimum, proportionate to the rider’s size.

01-NUOVA VISIERA
L a visiera di X-402 GT, predisposta per il sistema Nolan Fog Resistant
(NFR - in dotazione), è realizzata in Lexan® OQ di SABIC Innovative Plastics (già General
Electric Plastics) ed è appositamente studiata per garantire protezione e comfort durante
la guida. La sua ampia superficie è stata progettata seguendo studi e simulazioni
aerodinamiche ed è in grado di proteggere il volto del pilota da acqua e vento, comunque
garantendo un’adeguata circolazione dell’aria all’interno del casco, così come si addice
all’uso del casco aperto.
01-NEW VISOR
The X-402 GT visor, ready for the Nolan Fog Resistant system (NFR - standard),
is made from SABIC Innovative Plastics (former General Electric Plastics) Lexan®
OQ and is designed to guarantee protection and comfort. Its large surface is designed
based on aerodynamic tests and simulations and is able to protect the rider’s face from
water and wind while guaranteeing air circulation within the helmet, as suits an open
helmet.
02-MECCANISMO DI ROTAZIONE VISIERA
In abbinamento alla visiera, troviamo il meccanismo di rotazione che equipaggia ormai
da anni tutti i caschi integrali X-lite®: leggero, affidabile, con sgancio rapido della visiera
senza l’ausilio di utensili e regolazione (4 mm) della chiusura sulla guarnizione oblò.
02-VISOR ROTATION MECHANISM
The visor is equipped with the rotation mechanism that has been fitted on all X-lite®
full-face helmets for a number of years. The mechanism is light, reliable with a toolfree quick release visor, 4 mm adjustment of the air draught between the visor and the
sealing trim.
IMBOTTITURA DI CONFORTO AMOVIBILE
È confezionata in UNITHERM LIGHT, lo speciale tessuto in grado di assicurare eccellenti
prestazioni e comfort. Si tratta di una microfibra elasticizzata di nuova generazione
che garantisce un controllo attivo della traspirazione, mediante una rapida dispersione
dell’umidità corporea. La particolare conformazione della cuffia favorisce un ottimale
flusso dell’aria all’interno del casco. I guanciali amovibili assicurano un fitting preciso,
ma al tempo stesso confortevole, che si fa apprezzare tanto nei lunghi tragitti stradali,
quanto nei brevi percorsi cittadini.
REMOVABLE COMFORT PADDING
The padding is made from UNITHERM LIGHT, a special fabric that ensures excellent
performance and comfort. It is the most up-to-date elasticised microfibre that
guarantees active regulation of breathability by rapidly dispersing perspiration.
The special shape of the liner ensures optimum air flow inside the helmet.
The removable cheek pads ensure an exact and comfortable fit, which is appreciable
both on long road trips and short city jaunts.

03-SCHERMO PARASOLE (Vision Protection System)
Un nuovo VPS interno equipaggia X-402 GT e ne completa l’allestimento di altissimo
livello. Particolare cura ed attenzione sono state prestate nella progettazione di questo
componente ed il suo funzionamento è molto efficace ed ergonomico.
Con semplici ed intuitive operazioni, agevolate dal pratico tasto esterno di comando,
il VPS può essere attivato (abbassandolo) o ritirato all’interno della calotta in modo
veloce e sicuro in ogni condizione di utilizzo, anche in presenza di repentini cambi di
luminosità esterna. Prevede trattamento S/R (Scratch Resistant-resistente al graffio)
e F/R (Fog Resistant-resistente all'appannamento). Pulizia e manutenzione sono
agevolate da operazioni di smontaggio e rimontaggio particolarmente facili da eseguire.
03-SUNSCREEN (Vision Protection System)
X-402 GT is fit with the new inner VPS which completes its top range equipment.
Special care and attention have been given to its design. It is highly functional,
efficient, and ergonomic. Operation is simple and intuitive, facilitated by the practical
external control button, VPS can be activated (lowered) or stored within the shell
rapidly and safely under all conditions, even under conditions of repeatedly changing
brightness. It features S/R (Scratch Resistant) and F/R (Fog Resistant) treatment.
Maintenance and cleaning are made simple thanks to easy disassembly and reassembly
operations.
04-MENTONIERA PROTETTIVA
La nuova mentoniera protettiva permette la rapida trasformazione del casco da jet
in integrale e viceversa (casco omologato P/J). Facile da montare, il paravento rende
il casco ideale (con mentoniera agganciata) anche per un utilizzo durante i mesi invernali;
inoltre, provvede ad un’ottimale chiusura della parte inferiore del casco, evitando
infiltrazioni d’aria nella zona del mento. Le prese d’aria, azionabili singolarmente,
assicurano un clima gradevole all’interno del casco e rendono ancora più efficace
il sistema anti-appannante NFR FSB di cui è dotato di serie il nuovo X-402 GT.
04-PROTECTIVE CHIN GUARD
The new protective chin guard allows to rapidly change the helmet
from open-face to full-face and the other way round (P/J approved helmet).
Easy to install, the wind protector makes this helmet (with chin guard fastened) the ideal
one for use during the winter months; in addition, it ensures optimum sealing in the
lower part of the helmet, preventing possible air infiltration in the chin area.
The air intakes, that can be activated individually, ensure a pleasant climate inside the
helmet and makes even more effective the NFR FSB system, which is fitted as standard
in the new X-402 GT.

L’innovativo X-402 si trasforma in X-402 GT. “GT” significa “Gran Turismo”, la vera
anima di questo modello jet. La mentoniera protettiva amovibile supera i test
omologativi previsti dalla normativa ECE per i caschi integrali (omologazione P/J); un
semplice e pratico sistema di aggancio consente di trasformare X-402 GT da jet in integrale
e viceversa. Il nuovo design delle prese d’aria superiori rende ancora più facile ed intuitiva
l’attivazione delle stesse, anche in presenza di guanti. Grazie a queste innovazioni, X-402 GT
diventa un casco multifunzionale, in grado di offrire massimo comfort e protezione in tutte
le stagioni e di garantire un’ampia visuale in ogni condizione di utilizzo. Una validissima
alternativa che cambia lo scenario delle tipologie tradizionali del casco da moto.
