Dalla funivia di Punta Helbronner scendere sul ghiac-ciaio
sottostante in direzione del Dente del Gigante. Nei pressi
della prima cresta rocciosa (Aiguille Marbrée) contornare
lo sperone sci in spalla (15min.) fino al colle di Rochefort
(3389m).
1.Qui inizia la discesa. Entrare nel pendio ripido con una
diagonale verso destra per portarsi nel centro del piccolo anfiteatro.
2.Scendere seguendo la massima pendenza (45°). Solitamente stando a destra scendendo si trova sempre neve
fresca. Attenzione alla terminale in fondo al pendio.
3.Portarsi verso le rocce di sinistra per passare la piccola
seraccata. Contornarla e ritornare verso destra per un
ampio plateau.
4.Costeggiare le pareti rocciose fino al fondo. In ampie
vallette attraversate i pendii in direzione Val Ferret.
Nelle vicinanze delle rocce vi troverete al traverso che
conduce al bosco di Rochefort.
Du téléphérique de pointe Helbronner, descendre sur le glacier en contrebas vers la Dent du
Géant. A proximité de la première arête rocheuse (Aiguille Marbrée) contourner l’éperon
(skis sur sac 15 min) jusqu’au Col Rochefort
(3389m).
1.Ici commence la descente. Pénétrer dans la
pente raide avec une diagonale à droite, au
centre du petit amphithéâtre.
2.Suivre toujours la pente maximum (45°) en
restant généralement à droite où on trouve
toujours de la neige fraîche. Prendre garde à
la rimaye.
3.Tirer vers les rochers à gauche, contourner
les petits séracs et revenir vers la droite par
un vaste plateau.
4.Côtoyer les parois rocheuses jusqu’au fond
et traversez les pentes des petits vallons direction val Ferret. À proximité des rochers,
continuer en traversée jusqu’au bois de
Rochefort.
5.Descendre jusqu’au fond, près des chalets.

4.Follow the rock face till its end. Ski the open
slopes ahead leading to Val Ferret. Near the
rocks you will find the traverse leading to the
Rochefort woods.
5.Ski through the woods left into the fields
below, arriving at the summer road leading
down to the Village of Planpincieux. Take the
bus back to the cable car, in La Palud.

On the glacier, below Punta Helbronner,
head towards the Dente del Gigante (“Giant’s
tooth”). Walk up (15 min) next to the Aiguille
de Marbrée to the Col of Rochefort (3389m).
1.Here starts the descent. Traverse round the
steep face to the right, till in the centre of
the gulley.
2.Ski down following the steepest line down
(45°). On the right you can find often good
powder snow. At the bottom of the slope pay
attention to the crevasses.
3.Head left towards some rocks, and pass
