NELL’ATELIER ZEGNA L’UOMO REINVENTA LA SETA.
Voglia di Couture nella collezione primavera estate di Ermenegildo Zegna.
Il rigore della tradizione sartoriale italiana si apre alle sofisticate possibilità di un eclettismo quasi
eccentrico che si esprime nella scelta di tessuti nuovi .
Lo specchio dell’atelier ritorna ad essere una controparte essenziale. Con lui si instaura un dialogo
continuo, fatto di sguardi esigenti in cui si alternano controllo e riassicurazione estetica.
Ora la silhouette si fa definita, con giacche dalla spalla sobriamente insellata, punto vita rialzato e
revers ampi, il tutto a favore di una figura slanciata che si completa con pantaloni asciutti a vita alta e
piega cucita. Una costruzione senza incertezze ma confortevole – che ha il potere di regalare a ogni
uomo un’allure elegante - sostenuta dall’ampia scelta di tessuti tra i quali primeggia la proposta estiva
del progetto Zegna Silk.
Il guardaroba è quello di un uomo adulto e sicuro di sé che conosce il valore di un abito ben fatto ma
vuole concedersi garbate stravaganze, come le stampe all over a ispirazione tropicalista che
occhieggiano qua e là nei dettagli di camicie, fodere, accessori. I colori spaziano fra classici avorio e
blu, grigi delle nuvole, molte sfumature di tabacco, ottanio e rosso.
I tessuti corposi fanno la differenza nei completi formali e da cocktail, con abiti e soprabiti in taffetà di
seta, sete doppiate con trafori al laser e shantung ad effetti cangianti. Lussuosa alternativa, un solido
lino irlandese. E’ una rilettura dei classici che attinge senza complessi alle trame femminili
reinterpretate con l’inarrestabile capacità di sperimentazione di Zegna, che si estende fino alle
camicie, le più seducenti in morbidissima seta stampata effetto vintage, e ai tricot in filati serici
mouliné e ritorti.
L’estate, con i suoi tempi dilatati, sarà vissuta signorilmente anche con capi più sportivi che attingono
ancora dall’impostazione couture e si traducono in blouson, caban e giubbotti realizzati in nappe
plongé, cotoni doppiati, sete tecniche.
Gli accessori sono la chiave di volta di questo look inappuntabile. Impossibile sbagliare calzando i
mocassini Heritage con nappine e i flessibili loafer sfoderati in pelle morbidissima o - più
sensazionali – in seta con motivo a piccole foglie di banano. Le borse riconquistano l’aplomb, sono
geometriche e ispirate ai bagagli di un tempo nei dettagli di manici, angoli e rivettature.
Cravatte in maglia e twill di seta e foulard stampati, un po’ sciarpa, un po’ cache col, saranno il tocco
finale.

IN THE ZEGNA ATELIER, A NEW INTERPRETATION OF SILK
A yearning for Couture pervades the spring-summer Ermenegildo Zegna collection.
The rigor of the Italian sartorial tradition opens up to sophisticated possibilities that blur the line
between eclecticism and eccentricity, expressed through a gamut of new fabrics.
The atelier’s mirror is once again an essential counterpart with which to install an ongoing dialogue,
one made of exigent looks where control and aesthetic reassurance alternate with one another.
A well-defined silhouette underscored by jackets with sober saddle shoulders, a higher waistline and
wide lapels that favor a lean figure complemented by high-waist slim trousers with stitched pleats.
A confident yet comfortable construction, one that gives every man the power to exude an elegant
allure, buoyed by an ample selection of fabrics that spotlights the summer offering of the Zegna Silk
project.
A closet that mirrors a grown up and self-confident man who is familiar with the value of an
impeccably tailored suit but who wants to indulge with gentle whiffs of eccentricity, like the all- over
tropical-inspired prints that beckon from the details of shirts, linings and accessories. The color wheel
spans from classic ivory and blue to cloud gray, as well as shades of tobacco, teal and red.
Beefy fabrics make the difference in the formal and cocktail attire, with suits and overcoats in silk
taffeta, laser perforated double silks and shimmering shantung. A luxurious alternative is the solid
Irish linen.
An overall rendition of the classics that draws liberally from women’s weaves and textures,
reinterpreted with Zegna’s relentless knack to experiment that is extended as far as the shirt, amongst
the most seductive ever in soft printed silk with a vintage feel, and to silk moulinè or twisted knitwear.
Summer, with its laid back pace, never sheds its elegant aura even with the sportier garments that
draw from the couture tradition to become blousons, cabans and sport jackets made with nappa
plongè, double layer cottons and high performing silks.
The accessories are the turning point of this flawless look. There’s no going wrong with the tasseled
loafers Heritage and the flexible unlined “mocassini” in butter soft calfskin or – even more sensational
– in silk, enriched with a motif of tiny banana tree leaves.
Bags reconquer their aplomb, geometric and inspired by erstwhile luggage in the handles, corners
and trimmings.
Silk twill and knitted ties and printed scarves that evoke cache-cols add the final touch.

DA Z ZEGNA, ESSENZIALITÀ E RIGORE HANNO I COLORI DEI RICORDI.
L’estate per l’uomo Z Zegna è un momento nel quale lasciare da parte le rigidezze obbligate della vita
lavorativa per far emergere uno spirito più ludico, spensierato, a volte nostalgico.
La collezione ispira positività e ottimismo, allegria e leggerezza. Essenzialità, conformismo e rigore
sono un ricordo del passato, ora è il momento del leisure time, di un approccio alla vita conscio ma
sereno, senza eccessive preoccupazioni.
La silhouette rifugge il power dress e le linee attillate, diventa boxy, a volte leggermente oversize, con
spalle reinterpretate destrutturandole a ricordare i tagli della camiceria. E’ una collezione che celebra la
libertà d’azione, la leggerezza di pensiero, la visione creativa del mondo che gira attorno: “Dress to be
comfortable, as a state of mind”.
Tutti i capi spalla si ispirano alla classica divisa khaki. Decontratti, sportivi e sfoderati, con abbottonature
alte per mettere in risalto il viso e ammorbiditi dalla piega a cannoncino sulla schiena. Molte le giacche a
mezza manica. I pantaloni a vita alta - anche chino – sono rifiniti con cucite all’inglese e si abbinano a
camicie botton down. Sopra a tutto, parka oversize declinati sia in tessuti fluidi di lana leggerissima che
in twill di cotone corposo, utilmente multitasche, nella versione più casual.
Palette con colori mai aggressivi, vissuti, quasi nebulizzati. Le opere dell’artista Dan Flavin hanno ispirato
tonalità come mandarino, limone, verde acqua, avocado, corallo, che si accendono su basi di solidissimi
blu, tortora, khaky. Il colore sfumato ma cangiante è sottolineato dalla scelta decisa di tessuti come il
Solaro in cotone e lana – citazione delle collezioni Zegna anni ’60. I giochi ottici sono ottenuti con blocchi
di microfantasie per insiemi di giacca, pantaloni, camicia.
Accessori essenziali all’insegna della praticità. Le scarpe sviluppano uno spirito ibrido combinando
forme classiche in pelle con suola sneaker. Lo stile si definisce con l’introduzione di bande elastiche,
come accade anche nelle borse in vitello traforato.
L’impatto è grafico e a strati multipli, per un total look che non dà spazio a incertezze.

AT Z ZEGNA, OPTIMISM AND ESSENTIALITY ARE INFUSED WITH COLOR
Summer for the Z Zegna man is a time to leave aside the rigidity of working life and let a playful,
carefree and at times nostalgic spirit emerge. The collection inspires positivity and optimism, joy and
lightness. Essentiality, conformity and discipline are things of the past, now is the moment for leisure
time; an approach to life that is conscious, serene and liberated.
The silhouette turns away from power dressing and close-fitting lines. It becomes boxy, even slightly
oversized, with a new, unstructured shoulder in tailoring reminiscent of shirt construction. The
collection celebrates a freedom of action, a lightness of thought, and the creative vision of the world
that surrounds us: “Dress to be comfortable, as a state of mind.”
The jackets are inspired by the classic khaki uniform. Loose fitting and unlined but retaining a
sartorial impact. High button closures graphically emphasise the face outlined with knitted silk scarfs.
Short sleeves modernise the silhouette softened by box pleat details on the back. The high-wasted
trousers and chinos some with French seam workmanship are paired with button-down shirts.
Oversized multi pocket parkas in fluid lightweight wool or in robust cotton are employed as easy,
layering pieces.
Solarised brights that are never aggressive give an identity to the palette, these tones have a sense of
having been lived in with their intensity almost atomised through the passage of time. The works of
artist Dan Flavin have inspired hues such as tangerine, lemon, sea green, avocado and coral that
energise bases of solid blue, khaki and taupe. The blurred and prismatic colour gradient is underlined
by a decisive choice of fabrics such as Solaro in cotton and wool, a reference to Lanificio Zegna
collections of 60s, and optical pattern play obtained with micro jacquards for of jackets, pants, and
shirts.
Essential accessories in the name of convenience. The shoes develop a hybrid spirit combining
classic leather forms with the soles of a sneaker. The style is defined by the introduction of elastic
bands, just as it is within the perforated leather bags.
The impact is graphic and multilayered, for a total look that leaves no room for uncertainty.

La nuova collezione Zegna Sport propone una gamma di tessuti e finiture tecniche ispirati ad attività
all’aria aperta, dalla vela alle esotiche avventure nel deserto. Le linee sono grafiche e decise, la palette
graffiante con colori ispirati al mondo nautico e audaci tonalità monocromatiche con accenti
fluorescenti, per arrivare a sfumature naturali come beige, kaki e grigio. Il risultato è una collezione di
sportswear urbano in linea con lo stile di vita dinamico del moderno uomo Zegna; un uomo sofisticato
ed elegante con uno stile metropolitano adatto al lavoro ed al tempo libero. Alla base dell’intera
collezione c’è una ricerca approfondita sui materiali e sulle prestazioni tecniche; dal cotone
“cooltouch” e dal jersey Tencel con trattamento di protezione dagli UV ai capispalla in micronylon
high-tech con cuciture completamente nastrate per la massima impermeabilità. I capi casual
antistrappo in nylon leggero e impermeabile con pratiche sacche per ripiegarli, o il jersey “ice cotton”
dalle straordinarie prestazioni per la maglieria.

METROPOLITAN MARINA:
Un guardaroba completo di coordinati essenziali che trasformano in un contesto metropolitano
un’estetica normalmente associata al mare aperto. Le silhouette ispirate allo yachting sono
caratterizzate da linee graffianti e pulite e da dettagli tecnologici. La ricca collezione di capi in maglia,
chinos in cotone compatto “cimosato”, capispalla e accessori, in colori decisi come blu navy, bianco,
petrolio, offre un’eleganza sofisticata creando un look di grande impatto. I capispalla tecnici, come
l’Ocean Micro Parka impermeabile realizzato in fibra a 3 strati ad alte prestazioni con finiture al laser
sulle tasche e una tasca nascosta per “smart phone” o il guscio ultraleggero reversibile in due colori,
introducono una nota tecnologica nei capi per la città o per le gite in mare.

MONOCHROME FLUO:
Il progetto monocrhrome di Zegna Sport raggiunge nuove vette stilistiche con gli spezzati in bianco e
nero accentuati da dettagli in rosso e giallo fluorescente. Con un motivo camouflage di grattacieli e
stampe fotografiche a raggi X su leggere giacche impermeabili e t-shirt, ispirati a immagini
architettoniche metropolitane, la collezione evoca il mondo delle auto sportive di lusso: le linee
ergonomiche e i componenti avanzati sono esaltati da un’artigianalità di precisione e da modelli
tecnologici. La palette colori è composta da nero e grigio acciaio con vividi accenti fluo per capispalla
e maglieria; i pantaloni tecnici sono in morbidissimo denim cimosato stretch e “cooldry”. Le giacche in
pelle ergonomiche con dettagli traforati e inserti in mesh tridimensionale sono estremamente robuste
e morbide al tatto. Spicca tra i capi in pelle la giacca di nappa con mano silicone e pannello posteriore

Zegna Sport’s monochrome project reaches new stylistic heights with its black and white separates
accented with details in fluorescent red and yellow. Featuring high rise camouflage and x-ray
photographic prints on lightweight rainproof jackets and t-shirts, inspired by metropolitan
architectural imagery, the collection recalls the world of high-end sports cars whose ergonomic lines
