Pur essendo un marchio recente, le origini di
Ghisamestieri affondano nel XIX secolo e coincidono
con la storia dell’illuminazione pubblica e dell’inizio
della produzione industriale italiana. L’eredità
gloriosa, passata nelle mani di valenti uomini, tecnici
ed amministratori, ed il know how acquisito, sono
oggi il cuore pulsante ed il vanto dell’azienda.
Nata ed affermatasi con fonderie in Italia per la
produzione di illuminazione artistica, oggi, grazie
alla lungimiranza del suo fondatore, Leardo Ravaioli,
Ghisamestieri propone, accanto ai suoi prestigiosi
pezzi storici, una serie di prodotti contemporanei
caratterizzati da un accurato design e da una estrema
funzionalità.
The story of Ghisamestieri dates back to the XIX century,
coinciding with the development of public lighting and
the beginning of industrial production on the Italian
territory. Though its trademark is recent, the heritage of
such a glorious past has been handed down to clever
men, technicians and managers, combined with the
know-how they have acquired. This is nowadays what
Ghisamestieri can boast and what Ghisamestieri is proud
of. Ghisamestieri established itself as a foundry and is
well-known in Italy and abroad with other foundries for
the manufacture of artistic lighting systems. Now, thanks
to the farsighted mindset of its founder, Leardo Ravaioli,
Ghisamestieri can show, besides its prestigious historical
castings, a series of contemporary products characterized
by careful design and great functionality.
Ghisamestieri a ses racines au XIXe siècle.
Son histoire coïncide avec celle de l’éclairage public et du
début de la production industrielle en Italie.
Bien que la marque soit plus récente, elle s’appuie sur
un savoir faire historique, que nos techniciens ont sû
se transmettre, et qui fait aujourd’hui la fierté de notre
société.
Leardo Ravaioli, le fondateur de Ghisamestieri a toujours
été le précurseur.
Notre développement industriel s’appuie aujourd’hui
sur des fonderies en Italie et dans le monde, et nous
permet de produire, en plus de nos prestigieuses
pièces historiques, tout une série de produits au design
contemporain, bénéficiant des plus récentes évolutions

mezzi pubblici, la possibilità di effettuare chiamate
telefoniche gratuite via VOIP mediante
telefoni/smart phone che supportano
protocolli wireless, sono solo alcuni degli scenari
possibili.

lighting poles can be used as hot spot access points
to offer internet connection services
in urban and suburban areas.
Direct access to the municipality portal, timetable
of public means of transport, toll-free calls, via VOIP,
by means of telephones which support wireless
technology are just a few of the available services.

Il palo Genius può ospitare anche un microfono e un
altoparlante che consentono all’utente di effettuare
chiamate dirette ai principali numeri di emergenza.
La posizione del palo consentirà l’immediata
localizzazione della situazione di pericolo.
Questa funzionalità è utile soprattutto perché è
possibile dotare categorie di utenza specifiche
[ad esempio gli anziani] di dispositivi di chiamata a
distanza nelle zone coperte dal servizio
[chiamate di soccorso].

E’ possibile monitorare gli spostamenti di persone
[anziani, bambini, pazienti affetti da patologie
particolarmente delicate] mediante la dotazione di
speciali braccialetti che permettono una
localizzazione precisa e rapida.
Emergency and rescue calls
The installation of a microphone and a loudspeaker
on the pole allows to make emergency calls
directly to preset numbers. Knowing the location
of the pole allows an immediate positioning of the
danger situation. It is also possible to supply specific
categories of users [e.g. elderly persons] with specific
devices for remote calls in areas covered by the
service [rescue calls].

It is possible to track the movements of specific
categories of people [elderly persons, children,
people suffering from particular diseases] by means
of special bracelets which permit a rapid
and precise localization.

hautparleur pour permettre aux utilisateurs
d’effectuer des appels téléphoniques vers les
principaux numéros d’urgences [exemple: 17
police et gendarmerie]. La position du mât
[toujours reconnaissable et détectable] permettra
la localisation immédiate de la situation de danger.

parce qu’elle offre aux utilisateurs qui possèdent des
dispositifs spécifiques [par exemple pour les
personnes âgées] la possibilité d’appeler à distance
dans les zones couvertes [appels d’urgences].

La tecnologia RFID, di cui il palo Genius è dotato,
consente l’attivazione del servizio di pagamento
parcheggi. Gli automobilisti saranno dotati di
particolari “borsellini elettronici” ricaricabili
[portachiavi, tessere microchip, e altro] che,
una volta avvicinati al palo, permetteranno
un facile e veloce accesso al parcheggio.
Un microchip adesivo posizionato sulle automobili
consentirà il controllo dell’effettivo pagamento.
Parking payment
By means of RFID technology integrated to
Ghisamestieri lighting systems it is possible to have
access to automatic parking payment services.
To perform a payment a driver will be provided
with special prepaid “electronic wallets” [key rings,
microchip cards, etc.] which , once brought close to
the panel board, will allow an easy and quick access
to the parking area. A microchip sticker on the car
will allow to control the actual payment.

des parking. Les automobilistes recevront de petits
appareils électroniques rechargeables [porte-clefs,

per esempio trasmettere musica, comunicazioni,
intrattenimento, messaggi pubblicitari, grazie al
servizio di diffusione sonora nelle aree urbane.
Analisi delle immagini
Il software di analisi dell’immagine usa le riprese
delle telecamere per diversi scopi: leggere le targhe,
segnalare la presenza di persone oppure oggetti,
calcolare il numero di accessi, e tanto altro.
Il tutto in una finestra grafica completamente
personalizzabile.
Prevenzione incendi
Attivabile con l’utilizzo di termocamere e sensori
di fumo inseriti nel palo.

Genius pole offers many other possibilities,
for example broadcasting music, communications,
entertainment and advertisement messages,
due to sound broadcasting service.
Image analyzing
Image analyzing software allows processing of
images transmitted from cameras to achieve specific
purposes: license plate recognition, signalling the
presence of persons or objects, counting the number
of accesses, and many others.
The graphic interface is completely personalizable.
Fire prevention
It can be activated by means of thermal cameras and
smoke sensors in the pole.

Le mât Genius offre tant d’autres possibilités comme
par exemple de transmettre de la musique,
des communications, des animations, des messages
publicitaires et ce grâce au service de diffusion
sonore dans les zones urbaines.
Analyse des images
Le programme d’analyse des images utilise les prises
de vue des caméras pour la lecture des plaques
d’immatriculation, pour signaler la présence de
personnes ou d’objets, pour calculer le nombre
d’entrées dans un lieu et tant d’autres possibilités
encore. Le tout dans une fenêtre graphique
complètement personnalisable.
Prévention incendie
Cette fonction peut être activée grâce à l’utilisation
de caméras thermiques et à des détecteurs de fumée.

que rarement non nous arrêtons à penser aux
effets qu’elle a sur nous et sur le paysage qui
nous entoure. Dans cette section Ghisamestieri
présente une série de solutions caractérisées
par l’usage de la couleur. L’utilisation d’éléments
lumineux colorés donnent une valeur ajoutée

Il sistema di illuminazione Yumi nasce dal
desiderio di mettere ordine e da quello di fare
spazio, fornendo un unico oggetto al posto
della selva di elementi che popolano i nostri
marciapiedi. Il nome è eco dell’essenzialità
orientale e della forma prescelta, si chiama infatti
così l’antico e lungo arco dei samurai giapponesi.
The wish to tidy up and clear to create room for one
piece only instead of a great deal of elements filling
our pavements has given rise to the lighting system
Yumi. This name echoes oriental essentiality and the
chosen shape: Yumi is indeed the name of the long
and ancient bow of Japanese Samurais.
Le système d’éclairage Yumi est né pour répondre
au besoin de faire l’ordre et de libérer de la place.
Yumi est un unique objet qui substituera la
multitude d’éléments qui encombrent nos trottoirs.
Le nom rappelle l’essentialité orientale et la forme
choisie; en effet Yumi était le nom du grand arc des
samouraïs japonais.

cromatica del totem centrale, permettono di
creare differenti soluzioni compositive a seconda
del contesto in cui è inserito.
The suppression of road crossings, gradually
transformed into stream roundabouts, has led
Ghisamestieri to design Rondò system, the answer
to the need of lighting, in a pleasant way, and to
decorate new urban areas.
Its harmonic and lightweight shape and the
chromatic central totem allow the creation
of different compositions, in accordance with
the background where it is set.

Ninnei è facilmente collocabile in tutti quei
contesti in cui la presenza architettonica ha
un grande valore evocativo e spaziale, per cui
l’impiego di un altro genere di oggetto
rischierebbe di creare fastidiose interferenze.
Ninnei is a lighting system with brackets or pole
top mounting. It is distinguished by classic but at
the same time contemporary style, due to elegant
and discreet shape of extruded aluminium brackets,
with touches of colour creating terminal elements
illuminated with LEDs.
Ninnei can be easily integrated in all the
backgrounds where architecture has a great
evocative value and where placing another kind of
product might cause annoying interferences.

STANDARD PRESTAZIONALI
I corpi illuminanti a scarica sono dotati di
dispositivo di sfiato, che compensa le variazioni di
pressione tramite lo scambio d’aria tra il vano
componenti e l’ambiente esterno,
pur garantendo il grado di protezione IP66.
Gran parte dei corpi illuminanti Ghisamestieri sono a
marchio ENEC, quindi controllati e certificati
rispetto alle normative vigenti.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
The lighting fixtures are supplied with venting
device which compensates pressure variations
by means of air exchange between components
compartment and external environment, with IP66
protection level guaranteed

processi e per affrontare adeguatamente la complessità di un
progetto che coinvolge competenze specialistiche, si è scelto
di instaurare dei rapporti collaborativi con aziende leader nei
rispettivi settori.
In particolare, per quanto concerne il trattamento
superficiale, Ghisamestieri si è avvalsa della collaborazione
con la ditta Inver, uno dei leader indiscussi nel campo della
verniciatura.
Dal lavoro congiunto dei tecnici Ghisamestieri e Inver è
nato un ciclo di trattamenti superficiali specifico, progettato
tenendo conto dell’evoluzione delle esigenze del Cliente in
funzione della salvaguardia dell’ambiente e dell’ecologia.
Questo processo viene attualmente utilizzato sui nostri
prodotti in maniera proficua.
In view of a life-long improvement of our products and
processes and in order to properly tackle such a complex
project requiring specific expertise, we have decided to
cooperate with leader companies in the relevant sectors.
In particular, as far as surface treatment is concerned,
Ghisamestieri is supported by Inver, one of the undisputed
leading companies in the field of painting.
The synergy between technicians from Ghisamestieri and
Inver has given rise to a specific cycle of surface treatments,
designed for the new Customers’ needs and aimed at
protecting our environment. This process is currently
implemented on all our products in an effective way.
The top quality of such treatments is confirmed by the
successful results of specific saline fog tests [all products
widely exceed 2,500 hours] and of the strictest international
tests, among which FLORIDA TEST.

La protezione degli elementi in acciaio zincato è ottenuta attraverso le seguenti fasi:
• Microsabbiatura
• Fosfodecapaggio a pH compreso tra 1.5 e 3
• Risciacquo con acqua demineralizzata
• Applicazione di uno strato di fondo a polvere
• Cottura in forno
• Applicazione di finale a polvere
• Cottura in forno del finale a polvere a 180°
• Raffreddamento
Protezioni delle superfici in ghisa per basamenti
La protezione degli elementi in ghisa si ottiene attraverso i seguenti trattamenti:
• Micropallinatura superficiale
• Zincatura con zincante monocomponente ad immersione, con successive fasi di:
Appassimento > Essiccamento > Raffreddamento
• Applicazione di uno strato di primer epossidico-micaceo con successive fasi di:
• Applicazione di uno strato di smalto acrilico con successive fasi di:
Protezioni delle superfici in pressofusione di alluminio per
lanterne, punte, collari, mensole e pastorali
Lanterne, mensole e pastorali e gli accessori in pressofusione sono sottoposti ad
un ciclo di verniciatura a polvere, che assicura una barriera alla corrosione delle
parti metalliche e rende l’aspetto del prodotto finito conforme alle specifiche
progettuali, in termini di rugosità superficiale, colore riflettanza. Il ciclo è
strutturato nei passaggi descritti di seguito:
• Microsabbiatura
• Decapaggio a caldo in soluzione fosfosgrassante a base di zinco
• Fosfocromatazione per la pulizia delle superfici
• Lavaggio a freddo e successiva asciugatura in forno
• Risciacquo con acqua demineralizzata
• Applicazione di fondo a polvere e successiva cottura del fondo in forno a 180°
• Applicazione di polvere a finire utilizzando un prodotto High Durability e cottura
finale in forno a 180°.

Protection of galvanised steel surfaces for brackets and
pastorals
The protection of galvanised steel elements is achieved by the following steps:
• Phosphoric pickling bath at a ph level ranging from 1.5 to 3
• Rinsing with demineralised water
• First powder layer application
• Kiln firing
• Application of a final powder layer
• Kiln roasting of the final powder layer at 180°C
• Cooling
Protection of cast iron surfaces for bases
The protection of cast iron elements is achieved by the following treatments:
• Surface micro shotblasting
• Mono-component dip galvanizing followed by:
• Epoxy micaceous primer application followed by:
• Acrylic enamel application followed by:
Protection of die-cast aluminium surfaces for lanterns, tops,
collars, brackets and pastorals
Lanterns, brackets and pastorals and die-cast accessories undergo a cycle
of powder painting which creates a barrier against the corrosion of metal
parts. Moreover this barrier makes the finished product comply with design
specifications in terms of surface roughness, color and reflectance. The cycle
consists of the following steps:
• Hot pickling bath in a zinc-based phosphodegreasing solution
• Phospho-chromatation for surface clearing
• Cold washing followed by kiln drying
• Rinsing with demineralised water
• First powder layer application followed by kiln baking at 180°C
• Final powder layer application using a High Durability product and final kiln
roasting at 180°C
Dans l’optique d’une amélioration continue de nos produits
et procédés et afin de faire face de façon adéquate à la
complexité d’un projet impliquant des compétences
spécifiques, nous avons choisi d’entamer des collaborations
avec les entreprises leader dans leur secteurs respectifs.
Notamment, en ce qui concerne le traitement de surface,
Ghisamestieri travaille en collaboration avec l’entreprise
Inver, une parmi les entreprises de pointe dans le domaine de
la peinture.
La synergie entre les techniciens de Ghisamestieri et de Inver
a donné vie à un cycle de traitements de surface, conçu en
tenant compte de l’évolution des exigences du Client et en
fonction de la protection de l’environnement et de l’écologie.
À présent, ce procédé est appliqué à tous nos produits de
façon efficace.
La haute qualité de ces traitements est confirmée par des
tests spécifiques de brouillard salin [les produits dépassent
abondamment 2.500 heures] et par les excellents résultats
des essais les plus rigides au niveau international, parmi
lesquelles l’essai FLORIDA

La protection des éléments en acier galvanisé est obtenue par les phases
suivantes:
• Micro bain de sable
• Application d’une couche de fond epossidique suivie par les phases de:
Flétrissure > Séchage > Refroidissement
• Application d’une couche d’émail acrylique par les phases de:
• Emballage après au moins 24 heures de séchage à température ambiante

La protection des éléments en acier galvanisé est obtenue par les phases
suivantes:
• Phosphodécapage à un pH compris entre 1.5 et 3
• Rinçage avec eau déminéralisée
• Application d’une couche de fond à la poudre
• Cuisson dans le four
• Application d’une couche finale à la poudre
• Cuisson dans le four de la couche finale à la poudre à 180°
• Refroidissement

La protection des éléments en fonte est obtenue par les traitements suivants :
• Micro grenaillage de surface
• Galvanisation avec un monocomposant au zinc en immersion, suivie par les
phases de:
• Application d’une couche de primer epossidique-micacé suivie par les phases de:
• Application d’une couche d’émail acrylique suivie par les phases de:
Protections des surfaces en aluminium injecté pour lanternes,
toupies, bagues, crosses et bras
Lanternes, crosses et bras et les accessoires en aluminium injecté sont soumis à
un cycle de peinture à la poudre assurant une barrière à la corrosion des parties
métalliques et qui rend l’aspect du produit finit conforme aux spécifications de
conception en termes de rugosité de surface, de couleur et de reflectance. Le cycle
se compose des étapes suivantes :
• Décapage à chaud dans une solution phosphodégraissante à base de zinc
• Phosphochromation pour le nettoyage des surfaces
• Lavage à froid suivi par le séchage dans le four
• Rinçage avec eau déminéralisée
• Application d’une couche de fond à la poudre suivie par la cuisson dans le four
à 180°
• Application à la poudre en utilisant un produit à haute durabilité suivie par
cuisson dans le four à 180°.

Certificazione ISO 9001
Con la sigla ISO 9000 si identifica una serie di normative e linee guida sviluppate
dall’Organizzazione internazionale per la normazione, le quali definiscono i
requisiti per l’implementazione, in una organizzazione, di un sistema di gestione
della qualità, al fine di condurre i processi aziendali, migliorare l’efficacia e
l’efficienza nella realizzazione del prodotto e nell’erogazione del servizio, ottenere
ed incrementare la soddisfazione del cliente.
Aspetto primario e di importanza vitale è stato per Ghisamestieri creare all’interno
dell’azienda un sistema organizzativo i cui requisiti rispettino quanto richiesto
dalla norma ISO 9001. I requisiti della norma si applicano a tutti i processi
aziendali, dal commerciale alla gestione degli acquisti, alla produzione, etc.
I processi sono documentati attraverso apposita documentazione [manuale
qualità, procedure, istruzioni] e tutti i risultati del “fare qualità” in azienda sono
registrati su apposita modulistica [documenti di registrazione della qualità].
La ISO 9001 è di gran lunga lo standard più conosciuto e utilizzato per i sistemi
di gestione della qualità nel mondo, la prima versione è stata pubblicata nel
1987, con una prima revisione nel 1994, una seconda nel 2000 e infine la versione
attuale ISO 9001:2008, pubblicata nel novembre 2008.
Questo standard è applicato a quei processi dell’organizzazione che hanno un
impatto sulla Qualità. Esso pone l’accento sul miglioramento continuo e sulla
soddisfazione del cliente.

Certificazione ISO 14001
La certificazione ISO 14001 di un Sistema di gestione ambientale è la
dichiarazione di un ente certificatore accreditato, che il sistema stesso è conforme
alla norma di riferimento UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 e che le procedure di gestione
ambientale vengono costantemente applicate da parte dell’azienda.
L’adozione di un Sistema di gestione ambientale consente di razionalizzare
il controllo della conformità alle norme e leggi in tema di ambiente e il
monitoraggio delle prestazioni ambientali.
È uno strumento di supporto per la riduzione dei costi mediante l’utilizzo
efficiente delle risorse naturali ed energetiche.
La certificazione ISO 14001 è pertanto una garanzia del costante impegno
profuso dall’azienda nella salvaguardia dell’ambiente e nell’utilizzo delle risorse
naturali che consente di migliorare l’immagine aziendale e i rapporti con le parti
interessate.
Certificazione ENEC
ENEC [European Norms Electrical Certification - Certificazione Elettrica relativa
alle norme europee] è una certificazione che viene dal CENELEC [Comitato
europeo di normazione elettrica] e il relativo marchio viene accettato in tutta
Europa. È utilizzato unicamente come marchio di certificazione per apparecchi
e componeneti di illuminazione; tuttavia, oggi, prodotti come trasformatori
di sicurezza, alimentatori, apparecchiature IT, interruttori, condensatori e filtri
possono esibire il marchio ENEC. Il marchio ENEC indica che:

ISO 9001 Certification
The abbreviation ISO 9000 identifies a series of standards and guidelines
developed by the International Organization for Standardization which
defines requirements for the implementation, in an organization, of a quality
management system, in order to manage company’s processes, improve the
effectiveness and efficiency while developing a product or providing a service,
obtain and increase customer’s satisfaction.
Ghisamestieri has put on top of its priorities the creation of an organisational
system within the company whose requirements comply with what provided for
by ISO 9001 standard . The rule requirements apply to all company’s processes,
ranging from commercial activities to purchasing management to production
etc. Processes are recorded within specific documentation [quality manual,
procedures, instructions] and all results pertaining to “quality improvement” in the
company are recorded within appropriate forms [quality recording papers].
ISO 9001 is by far the most recognized and adopted standard for quality
management systems all over the world. The first version was issued in 1987, and
its first review dates back to 1994, the second was issued in 2000 and finally the
current version ISO 9001:2008 was published in November 2008.
This standard is applied to all those processes affecting quality. It emphasizes lifelong improvement and customer’s satisfaction.

ISO 14001 Certification
The ISO 14001 Certification of a environmental management system is a
certification granted by an ISO-accredited certification body stating that the
system complies with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and that environmental
management procedures are constantly applied by the company .
The adoption of an environmental management system allows to streamline the
control of the compliance with the environmental rules and regulation and helps
monitor environmental performance.
It is a support tool to reduce costs by means of an effective use of natural and
energy resources.
The ISO 14001 Certification therefore guarantees a constant commitment by the
company on the environmental protection and use of natural resources thus it
allows the company to improve its image and relations with relevant parties.
ENEC Certification
ENEC [European Norms Electrical Certification ] is a certification created by
CENELEC [European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization ] whose
mark is accepted all over Europe. It is only used as a certification mark for lighting
appliances and components; however, at present, some products such as safety
transformers, feeders, IT devices, switches, condensers and filters can show ENEC
mark. The ENEC mark demonstrates that:

the product complies with European eligible requirements for safety controls and for the control of the performance of the quality management system;
•
the product makes use of a quality system in accordance with ISO 9000 rules;
•
tests on finished products are repeated every two years.

the manufacturer adopts production control which is periodically verified.

Certification ISO 9001

d’un système d‘organisation dont les conditions requises respectent ce que
la norme ISO 9001 prévoit. Les conditions requises de la norme s’appliquent à

production etc.
Les procédés sont enregistrés à travers une documentation spécifique [manuel
qualité, procédures, instructions] et tous les résultats issus de l’amélioration
de la qualité dans l’entreprise sont enregistrés par des formulaires spéciaux

La certification ISO 9001 est de loin le standard le plus reconnu et utilisé pour les

La certification ISO 14001 est donc une garantie de l’engagement constant

ressources naturelles permettant d’améliorer l’image de l’entreprise et ses
relations avec les parties impliquées.
Certification ENEC
ENEC [ Marque européenne de Certification Électrique] est une certification crée
par le CENELEC [Comité européen de fabricants de luminaires]. Elle est acceptée
dans tous les pays européens. Cette marque est la seule marque de conformité
des luminaires et composants d’éclairage ; toutefois, aujourd’hui des produits
comme par exemple les transformateurs de sécurité, les alimentateurs, les
appareils IT, les interrupteurs, les condensateurs et les filtres peuvent porter la
marque ENEC.
La marque indique que :

Le produit est conforme aux conditions requises européennes quand elles sont applicables pour la vérification de la sécurité et des performances du Système de gestion de la qualité

Le fabricant applique un système de qualité suivant les normes ISO 9000;
•
Les test sur les produits finis sont répétés tous les deux ans;
•
Le fabricant adopte un contrôle de production qui est vérifié périodiquement.
