The social dinner will take place at a traditional place in the citycenter
(costs are around 10-15€ plus drinks)
After your registration you will get an invitation to the Nebari 2013 Mailinglist for
further information.
To participate at the social dinner we kindly ask you to register and pay until
Oct 15th, 2013. Otherwise we can’t guarantee a seat for the meal!
The certificates of participation can be guaranteed only to participants registering
until Nov. 15th, 2013!
KOBUKAN BONN
Reaching Bonn:
Bonn is served by several airports. The closest one is located
half way between Cologne and Bonn (Köln-Bonn airport,
iata: CGN), about 20 km from Bonn. It is served by many airlines, including Germanwings, which often has good offers.
From the airport one can reach Bonn by bus and train. All
informations are available at the website of the airport:

by taxi it may cost 50 to 70 euro. The bus ticket to the Bonn
railway station is about 7 euro.
The Düsseldorf airport is located about 80 km north of
Bonn. Bonn can be reached by train (www.bahn.de)
Hotels in Bonn:
IMPORTANT!
From the end of November there are traditional Christmas
markets in all German cities. This makes this period a high
season and hotels may be fully booked. Booking well in
advance is not only recommended but may be absolutely
necessary!
Contrariwise to what offered in the past, this time there won’t
be the possibility to host anybody at Andrea’s place.
The gym hall used for the training is at the EMA Gymnasium,
Endenicher Allee 1, at about 15 minutes walking distance
from the main station.
The Frankfurt airport is about 160 km south west of Bonn.
Bonn can be reached with either a fast and expensive train
(40 minutes to Siegburg/Bonn station, 55 minutes to Cologne,
for prices between 40 and 100 euro one way) or with a
slower train traveling along the Rhein river (from 29 euro up,
about 2 hrs), with a beautiful view.
Ryanair flies to the Frankfurt-Hahn airport, which is in
Hahn, some 80-100 km from Frankfurt a.M.. It’s very badly
connected. There is a bus which with some hours and 15
euro can take you to Cologne, where one would have to take
a train to Bonn. This airport may be a good solution to save
money when traveling in groups and renting a car at the
airport to reach Bonn in ~160 km.

station may be disturbing (in terms of noise level).

The price to quality ratio is in my opinion very good. The hotel
is next to the Altstadt and walking distance from the center.
The bus to the airport stops right in front of the hotel (the bus
*from*the airport stops at the main station). The gym hall is at
about 15-20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.
The rooms cost between 45 and 62 euro per night, the cost
is independent on the number of people occupying the room
(one or two adults, with the possibility of adding a child of
age below 12. Children older than 12 count as adults. Three
adults in a room is not possible). Booking in advance allows
saving some 15%, the same applies for booking 2 or three
nights on a weekend. The breakfast at the hotel is expensive
(10 euro per person per day) but there is a café at 30 meters
from the hotel.

Come arrivare a Bonn:
Bonn e’ raggiungibile in aereo attraverso diversi aeroporti. IL
piu’ vicino e’ situato a meta’ strada tra Colonia e Bonn (aeroporto Köln-Bonn airport, iata: CGN), circa 20 Km da Bonn. Ci
volano diverse compagnie aeree, inclusa la Germanwings,
che ha spesso biglietti in offerta a basso costo. Dall’Aeroporto
Bon e’ raggiungibile con bus e treno. Tutte le informazioni

Con il taxi costa circa 50-70 euro IL biglietto dell’autobus per
la stazione centrale di bonn costa circa 7 euro.
L’aeroporto di Düsseldorf si trova a circa 80 Km a nord di
Bonn. Bonn puo’ essere raggiunta con il treno.
L’aeroporto di Francoforte e’ a circa 160 Km a sud est di
Alberghi a Bonn:
IMPORTANTE!
Dalla fine di Novembre in tutte le citta’ tedesche ci sono i tradizionali mercatini di Natale. Questo fa si che questo periodo
sia alta stagione turistica e gli alberghi potrebbero essere
pieni. Prenotare l’albergo con largo anticipo e’ non solo consigliabile ma potrebbe essere assolutamente necessario!
Contrariamante a quanto fatto in passato, questa volta non ci
sara’ la possibilita’ di ospitare nessuno a casa di Andrea.
La palestra usata per gli allenamenti e’ quella di una scuola (il
ginnasio EMA), a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria centrale di Bonn.
I partecipanti, gli insegnati e gli ospiti degli stage sono stati
tradizionalmente sistemati all’hotel Ibis:

Il rapporto qualita’/prezzo e’ secondo me molto buono. L’hotel
si trova vicino alla citta’ vecchia (Altstadt), e il centro e’ raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi. L’autobus per l’aeroporto
si ferma proprio di fronte all’albergo (mentre l’autobus
*dall’aeroporto* si ferma alla stazione centrale). La palestra e’
raggiungibile a piedi in circa 15-20 minuti o in macchina in 5
minuti.
Il pernotto costa tra i 45 e i 62 euro, il costo e’ indipendente
dal numero di persone che occupano la stanza (ono o due
adulti, con la possibilita’ di aggiungere un bambino di eta’
inferiore ai 12 anni. Bambini di eta superiore ai 12 anni contano come adulti. Tre adulti in una stanza non sono permessi.)
La prenotazione in anticipo da accesso a tariffe scontate del
15%. Lo stesso si applica a prenotazioni di due o tre giorni
nel fine settimana.
La colazione in albergo e’ extra e relativamente costosa (10
euro a persona al giorno) ma c’e’ una cafetteria a poche
decine di metri dall’albergo.
Ci sono tre alberghi piu’ vicini alla palestra.
Bonn. Bonn puo’ essere raggiunta sia con un costoso treno
ad alta velocita’ (40 minuti fino alla stazione di Siegburg/
Bonn, 55 minutes fino a Colonia, per costi dai 40 ai 100
eurofor prices between 40 and 90 euro sola andata) o con
un treno piu’ lento che viaggia lungo il fiume Reno (e quindi
piacevolmente panoramico), dai 29 euro in su per due ore di
viaggio.
La Ryanair vola su Frankfurt-Hahn, che si trova a Hahn,
circa 80-100 Km da Francoforte sul Meno. Questo aeroporto
e’ piuttosto mal collegato. C’e’ una linea di autobus che
permette di raggiungere Colonia in qualche ora per 15 euro
a persona. Da Colonia bisogna poi prendere un treno per
Bonn. Volare Ryainair su questo aeroporto puo’ essere una
soluzione buona ed economica per chi si muove in gruppo e
sia disposto a raggiungere Bonn con una macchina a noleggio (~160 Km)

Non abbiamo esperienza diretta con questo albergo e quindi
non possiamo dire quanto il fatto di collocarsi sopra la
stazione possa creare fastidio (in termini di livello di rumore).
