To take a tourist that arrives in the Granda and guide them in the choice of hotels, restaurants,
farmhouse accommodation, bed & breakfast and campsites.
The aim of this publication, realized as a chamber initiative, in collaboration with Isnart, Piedmont
Region and the Province, inserts itself perfectly in an evolved context that aims to welcoming and
informing the guest, to the clarity of the relationship and demonstrating role of a land with excellent standards.
The operators of the area are demonstrating this purpose to the full, so much that in the 2011 edition of the “Guide”, the registered facilities have risen to 381, with a further increase of 50 units
compared to last year. To land the recognition of standard-bearers of “Italian hospitality”, they all
followed a documented process that foresees the submission of the application, acceptance of a visit
by an expert commission and keeping up to the required standards, otherwise they are de-listed.
Quality is at the centre of attention, with all of its expressions, from the welcoming to the owner’s
helpfulness, to the characteristics and cleanliness of the places, to other parameters that do not
award luxury but the careful, solid and correct management, meeting the commitments made with
a possible client. in reply
In an area that is ever more articulate and susceptible, these elements can make the difference. The
tourist, more than ever in a timeof crisis, searches for clarity, commitment keeping and the correct
relation between comfort and price. A short stay or an extended holiday are influenced in a decisive
manner by the proposed quality of the services and by the professionalism of the hoteliers, restaurateurs, campsite owners and owners of equipped farmhouses or bed & breakfasts. For this reason,
Cuneo plays its card with determination and, based on the statistical data, it manages to obtain good
results that are often offbeat compared to other areas of the country.

INTRODUZIONE
Prendere per mano il turista che arriva in Granda e guidarlo nella scelta di alberghi, ristoranti, agriturismi bed & breakfast e campeggi. L’obiettivo di questa pubblicazione, realizzata per iniziativa camerale, in collaborazione con Isnart, Regione Piemonte e Provincia, si inserisce perfettamente in un
contesto evoluto che punta all’accoglienza e all’informazione dell’ospite, alla chiarezza del rapporto
e al ruolo di testimonianza di un territorio dai requisiti d’eccellenza.
Una finalità che gli operatori del settore stanno dimostrando di cogliere appieno, tanto che, nell’edizione 2011 della “Guida” le strutture censite salgono a 381, con l’ulteriore incremento di 50 unità
rispetto allo scorso anno. Tutte, per approdare al riconoscimento di portabandiera della “ospitalità
italiana”, hanno seguito un iter che prevede la presentazione documentata della domanda, l’accettazione di una visita da parte di una commissione di esperti e il mantenimento dei requisiti richiesti, pena la cancellazione dall’elenco.
Al centro dell’attenzione sono la qualità, con tutte le sue espressioni, dall’accoglienza alla disponibilità dei titolari, alle caratteristiche e pulizia dei locali, ad altri parametri che non premiano il lusso,
ma la gestione attenta, solida, corretta, rispondente agli impegni presi con il possibile cliente.
In un settore sempre più articolato e suscettibile di cambiamento, questi elementi possono fare la
differenza. Il turista, più che mai in tempi di crisi, cerca chiarezza, mantenimento degli impegni, rapporto giusto tra comfort e prezzo. La sua sosta breve o la vacanza protratta per alcuni giorni sono
condizionate, in misura determinante, dalla qualità dei servizi prospettati e dalla professionalità di
albergatori, ristoratori, titolari di campeggi, di strutture agricole attrezzate o di bed & breakfast. Per
questo Cuneo gioca con determinazione la sua carta e, in base ai dati statistici, riesce a mettere a
segno buoni risultati, spesso in controtendenza rispetto ad altre aree del territorio nazionale.

Quarantotto nuove realtà della provincia di Cuneo si aggiungono, quest’anno, alla sempre più
grande squadra certificata dal prestigioso marchio “Q-Ospitalità Italiana”.
Un’offerta capace di soddisfare qualunque tipo di turista e improntata sulla qualità, fatta di
gentilezza e attenzione ma anche di rispetto per l’ambiente e per le tradizioni.
Una garanzia che investe, ormai, ben trecentottantuno strutture e che la Camera di commercio di Cuneo raccoglie in modo puntuale in questa guida, offrendo ai turisti un utile e valido strumento di viaggio.
Qui vi sentirete accolti e accuditi…come a casa vostra.
Lo confermano i numeri dei flussi turistici, cresciuti esponenzialmente negli ultimi dieci anni,
e lo testimonia il grande potere del “passaparola”, diventato il principale strumento di promozione del nostro territorio.
Segni fortissimi di una terra che sorprende, seduce e conquista i suoi visitatori, invitandoli a
parlare di sé e soprattutto a tornare, premiando il lavoro quotidiano di coloro che sono impegnati e credono nel valore dell’accoglienza.
L’augurio, quindi, è che questa guida sia il punto di partenza di un viaggio indimenticabile attraverso Cuneo e il Piemonte: un territorio unico in cui perdersi, tra itinerari artistici, culturali,

Forty eight new realities of the province of Cuneo have been added this year to the always
greater certified team of the prestigious “Q-Italian Hospitality” seal.
An offer that is able to satisfy any type of tourist and based on quality, kindness and attention but also reapect fro the environment and traditions.
A guarantee that by now, invests exactly three hundred and eighty one places, which the
Chamber of Commerce has gathered in a timely manner in this guide, ofering the tourist a useful and valuable travelling tool.
Here you will feel welcomed and cared for... just like home from home.
This is confirmed by the flow of tourists, which has exponentially grown in the last ten years,
and the proof is the power of “word of mouth”, that has become the main promotional tool
in our area.
These are powerful signs of a land that surprises, seduces and conquers its visitors, inviting
them to talk about it and above all to return, rewarding the daily work of those who are committed and believe in the value of hospitality.
The desire, is therefore, that this guide is the starting point of an unforgettable journey through
Cuneo and Piedmont: a unique area in which to lose oneself among artistic and cultural itineraries, natural beauty and the excellence of a world famous eno-gastronomy.

The union between the Chamber of Commerce and the Province of Cuneo continues also for
2011, in the field of promotion of a tourist offer that is able to meet customers' expectations:
a recognition that materializes with the granting of the "Italian Hospitality” Quality Seal,
continuing, also in the Granda, the national project involving the National Institute of Tourist
Research (Isnart) in Rome and 80 chamber authorities.
An incentive for operators towards continuous improvement of the culture which we are recognized for around the world, but also practical support for the many business realities of
the territory, by creating a strong brand that is the basis for an effective promotion of local
tourism on an international level. The 2011 edition brings positive news to help, especially in
times of crisis, moderate optimism: there are 381 companies from Cuneo invested with the
award, 48 of those that can boast of a new assignment. The Province is actively involved, as
manager of the bed & breakfast operator register: 12 are the new realities in this area, a guarantee of the professionalism of the accommodation facilities as territorial presidiums able to
actively contribute to the successful promotion of the varied cultural, architectural, natural and
eno-gastronomic heritage of the Granda.
An area that has been growing in recent years and combines the actual source of employment
with a good ability to interact with local resources, in line with the dictation that rules the
award of the "Italian Hospitality"

INTRODUZIONE
Continua, anche per il 2011, il connubio tra Camera di Commercio e Provincia di Cuneo in
tema di promozione di un'offerta turistica capace di rispondere al meglio alle aspettative dei
clienti: un riconoscimento che si concretizza con l’assegnazione del Marchio di qualità "Ospitalità Italiana", proseguendo, anche in Granda, il progetto nazionale che coinvolge l’Istituto
nazionale ricerche turistiche (Isnart) di Roma ed 80 enti camerali.
Uno stimolo per gli operatori al continuo miglioramento di quella cultura dell’accoglienza
che ci è riconosciuta in tutto il mondo, ma anche un sostegno concreto alle tante realtà imprenditoriali del territorio, attraverso la creazione di un marchio forte che costituisce la base
per un’incisiva promozione del sistema turistico locale a livello internazionale. L’edizione 2011
porta notizie positive che consentono, soprattutto in tempo di crisi, un discreto ottimismo:
sono 381 le aziende cuneesi insignite del Premio, 48 quelle che possono fregiarsi di una nuova
assegnazione. La Provincia partecipa attivamente, in qualità di gestore del registro degli operatori dei bed & breakfast: sono 12 le nuove realtà in questo settore, a garanzia della professionalità delle strutture ricettive quali presidi territoriali in grado di contribuire fattivamente
ad un’adeguata promozione del variegato patrimonio culturale, architettonico, naturalistico
ed enogastronomico della Granda.
Un settore che si è andato affermando negli ultimi anni e che unisce allo sbocco occupazionale concreto anche una buona capacità di interazione con le risorse territoriali, in linea con
il dettato che regola l’assegnazione del marchio “Ospitalità italiana”.

Non è questione di stelle, anche se l'attribuzione del riconoscimento tradizionale incide ancora,
in misura rilevante, sulle scelte della clientela. Si va facendo strada, negli ultimi anni, la valutazione di altri fattori, di requisiti sempre più parametrati alla richiesta della clientela. Gli stessi
operatori del settore turistico sono protagonisti della svolta, impegnati non già nella conquista
di riconoscimenti e valutazioni che privilegiano gli aspetti estetici, quanto nel sostenere professionalità, attenzione al dettaglio, scelte che diano ad ogni realtà ricettiva le caratteristiche richieste dalla sua collocazione sul mercato. Sempre più spesso il turismo, nelle nostre zone,
abbraccia tutte le fasce di utenza, da quella che dà peso all'eleganza, a quella che punta all'efficienza, alla impostazione corretta dell'accoglienza, al buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
Questa guida riguarda gli operatori più attenti, che non si limitano a presentare i loro requisiti,
ma sono disponibili ad ascoltare e recepire le richieste degli ospiti, ad impostare il proprio lavoro
non su principi teorici dell'ospitalità, ma sulla concretezza quotidiana del rapporto con chi sceglie di fare una sosta o progetta una vacanza, approda al ristorante o si avvale di soluzioni più
recenti come gli agriturismi o i bed &breakfast.
Sono, ormai, 381 le realtà che hanno superato l'iter per l'inserimento nella “Guida dell'ospitalità
italiana di qualità”. Tra loro, 82 alberghi, 154 ristoranti, 91 agriturismi, 50 bed&breakfast e 4
campeggi. Tutti, ad eccezione dei campeggi, hanno fatto registrare un incremento nell'ultimo
anno, con 48 nuovi inserimenti. L'augurio è che il trend di crescita continui anche in futuro, spingendo il turismo cuneese a livelli tali da consentirgli di mantenere standard apprezzati e presenze
capaci di fargli affrontare con successo un futuro in cui le nebbie della crisi sembrano aprirsi ai
primi raggi di speranza nella ripresa.

It's not about the stars, although the award of traditional recognition still significantly affects, the choices of
the clientele. The evaluation of other factors, of standards that are ever more parameterised to the requirements of clients. The same operators in the tourism sector are the protagonists of this change, who are not
already engaged in the conquest of awards and reviews that favor the aesthetic aspects, but in sustaining professionalism, attention to detail, choices that give every accommodation reality the characteristics required
by its position on the market . Increasingly, the tourism in our area, covers all categories of users, from the
one that insists on elegance to the one that aims at efficiency, the correct welcoming and good value for
money.
This guide regards the most careful operators, that do not stop at presenting their standards, but are willing
to listen and incorporate the requirements of the guests, to set their work, not on the theoretical principles
of hospitality, but on the practical daily life of the relationship with those who choose to take a break or plan
a holiday, arrives at the restaurant or makes use of lthe atest solutions such as farmhouse holidays or bed &
breakfasts.
There are by now 381 places that have exceeded the process for inclusion in the "Guide of Italian hospitality
of quality." Among them, 82 hotels, 154 restaurants, 91 farmhouses, 50 campsites and 4 bed & breakfasts.
All of them, except the campsites, showed an increase last year, with 48 new entries. The hope is that the
growth trend continues in the future, pushing the tourism of Cuneo to such levels to enable it to maintain appreciated standards and presences that are able to make it successfully face a future in which the fog of crisis seems to open itself to the first rays of hope in the revival.
