Great celebrations at this summer’s edition of
Playtime Paris, which will be celebrating its
10 year anniversary. The exhibition has experienced a consistent growth over the years,
along with its participating brands, all carefully researched, appreciated, and cared for
during their evolution. These have been years
where we have seen the New York and Tokyo
editions open up to a more global vision. To
add to this was the creation of Playologie, one
of the first sites that puts buyers and brands
in direct contact with each other, and still yet
many collaborations with artists and designers, where a unique space for baby furniture
design was created: PlayWithDesign. Those
participating in the exhibition, from July 2nd
to July 4th, can take part in the festivities to
be held within Floral Park in Paris on Saturday. After the impressive results of the last
edition, with more than 500 brands - many at
their first appearance - and an increase in visitors - especially foreigners - who knows what
this edition will have in store for us this year.
Definitely a space that will welcome a new
illustrator, Manon Debaye, a student from
HEAR (Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin), who
won the competition organized by Playtime,
aimed at nominating an illustrator of the year
and who, for the three exhibitions, has envisioned flora and fauna reclaiming their right
in a perfect symbiosis with its inhabitants.
So, do not miss out on its upcoming appointments in New York, from July 31st to August
2nd, and August 23rd to 25th in Tokyo.
Grandi festeggiamenti a questa edizione estiva del Playtime di Parigi, che compie 10 anni
dalla prima. Anni che hanno visto una crescita costante della fiera e dei brand stessi
che sono stati attentamente ricercati, accolti
e curati nella loro evoluzione; anni in cui si è
visto nascere un’edizione a New York e una a
Tokyo aprendosi ad una visione più globale.
Inoltre la creazione di Playologie uno dei primi siti che mettono in contatto diretto buyer
e brand, e ancora tante le collaborazioni, con
artisti e designer, fino a creare uno spazio unico per la creazione di mobili per il bambino, il
PlayWithDesign. Chi prenderà parte durante i
giorni di esposizione, dal 2 al 4 di Luglio, potrà
partecipare ai festeggiamenti che si terranno
all’interno del Parco Floral il giorno di sabato.
Dopo i risultati sbalorditivi dell’ultima edizione, con più di 500 brand, di cui numerosissimi
alla loro prima apparizione, e una crescita di
visitatori soprattutto straniera, chissà cosa ci
attenderà per questa edizione. Sicuramente
uno spazio che accoglierà una nuova illustratrice Manon Debaye, studente della HEAR
(Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin), la quale ha vinto il concorso indetto dal Playtime per trovare
l’illustatore dell’anno e che ha immaginato per
le tre fiere, la flora e la fauna che si riappropriano dei propri diritti in una perfetta simbiosi con
gli abitanti. Da non dimenticare quindi anche
gli appuntamenti di New York dal 31 Luglio al 2
Agosto e a Tokyo dal 23 al 25 Agosto.
