L’Associazione Italiana Nucleare (AIN) è un’associazione tecnico-scientifica che riunisce enti, aziende e centri di competenza
interessati allo sviluppo delle tecnologie nucleari. L’associazione
è interlocutore delle Istituzioni dello Stato, europee e internazionali nel campo dell’energia nucleare. L’AIN rappresenta il sistema nucleare italiano nelle associazioni europee European Nuclear Society (ENS) e Forum Atomico Europeo (FORATOM), di
cui è stata socio promotore e fondatore. Rappresenta inoltre il sistema nucleare nazionale nell’American Nuclear Society (ANS).
The Associazione Italiana Nucleare (AIN) is a technical and scientific association that brings together entities, companies and
centers of excellence involved in the development of nuclear technologies. The association provides a point of contact for Italian,
European and international nuclear energy bodies.
AIN represents the Italian nuclear system with European associations European Nuclear Society (ENS) and Forum Atomico
Europeo (FORATOM), of which it was a founding member and
promoter. It also represents the Italian nuclear system with the
American Nuclear Society (ANS).
Evoluzione
dell’AIN
The evolution
L’AIN è stata istituita a Roma il 12 novembre1958 come FIEN
(Forum Italiano dell’Energia Nucleare) e ha operato come tale
fino al 31 dicembre 1998.
Successivamente, sono confluite in AIN le tre associazioni storiche fino a quel momento attive in Italia in campo nucleare:

The AIN was set up in Rome on 12 November 1958 as FIEN

Mantiene i rapporti con enti ed associazioni nazionali, internazionali e sopranazionali del settore.
