Diplomatosi sotto la guida di Camillo Battel al
Conservatorio di Venezia con il massimo dei
voti, si è poi perfezionato con Alberto Mozzati.
Durante quel quinquennio di studio ha ottenuto
premi e riconoscimenti significativi in Concorsi
Nazionali ( Città di Treviso, “Speranza” di
Taranto) e Internazionali (“M. Canals” di
Barcellona (Spagna), Enna, “Pozzoli” di
Seregno) e dalla Televisione Italiana per la
quale ha effettuato registrazioni dal vivo. Ha
svolto dapprima attività concertistica come solista e in formazioni cameristiche
dedicandosi poi con successo alla didattica, tanto che suoi allievi si sono distinti per
vittorie e premi nei più prestigiosi Concorsi pianistici nazionali. Dal 1971 al 2009 é stato
docente di pianoforte principale: presso i Conservatori “Steffani” di Castelfranco Veneto e
"B. Marcello" di Venezia. E' ripetutamente invitato a tenere corsi di perfezionamento e
stage in Italia e Francia e Croazia. Dal 1993 al 2003 in particolare é stato titolare di un
corso annuale di perfezionamento presso la Fondazione S. Cecilia di Portogruaro. Svolge
inoltre attività di Direttore artistico presso alcune Associazioni musicali del Veneto e del
Friuli Venezia Giulia. E' spesso invitato quale membro di Giuria in Concorsi di esecuzione
pianistica.!

He graduated with Camillo Battel at the Conservatory of Venice with full marks; he
continued his studies with Alberto Mozzati. During that five-year period of study he
received awards in national (City of Treviso, "Speranza" of Taranto) and International
competitions ("M. Canals" of Barcelona, Enna, "Pozzoli" Seregno) and for Italian Television
where he performed live recordings. He performed first as a soloist and in ensembles, then
devoting successfully to the teaching, so that his students have distinguished themselves,
in the most prestigious national piano competitions. From 1971 to 2009 he has been a
piano teacher: at "Steffani" Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto and "B. Marcello" of
Venice. He is repeatedly invited to give masterclasses and workshops in Italy, France and
Croatia. From 1993 to 2003 in particular he had been the teacher in an annual masterclass
at the Fondazione Santa Cecilia in Portogruaro. He is also activities the Artistic Director of
some musical Associations in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. He is often invited as a jury
member in piano competitions.

M° Teresa Trevisan!
Nata nella fortezza veneziana di Palmanova, si è diplomata "cum
laude" e speciale menzione ministeriale al Conservatorio "Giuseppe
Tartini" di Trieste. Suoi insegnanti sono stati Luciano Gante, a
Trieste, e Aquiles Delle Vigne all'Ecole Normale de Musique "Alfred
Cortot" di Parigi, di cui è diventata successivamente assistente.
Entrambi hanno avuto una profonda influenza sul suo sviluppo
artistico e pedagogico. Tuttavia Maria Puxeddu, sua prima
insegnante, ha contribuito in misura notevole alla sua maturazione
in campo pedagogico, immergendola sin da giovane
nell'insegnamento dello strumento. Teresa Trevisan ha ottenuto diversi riconoscimenti in
concorsi nazionali ed internazionali. La sua attività concertistica, da solista ed in
formazioni cameristiche, l'ha portata ad esibirsi in Italia, Europa e negli Stati Uniti. Ha
frequentato i corsi di Musica da Camera dell'Accademia Internazionale di Menhuin a
Gstaad e dell'Accademia Internazionale del Trio di Trieste a Duino. Particolare attenzione
è stata dedicata alla formazione di duo pianistico, prima con il fratello Filippo e attualmente
con Flavio Zaccaria, con l'intento di scoprire un repertorio meno conosciuto quale ad
esempio quello di Reger (menzione d'onore nel 2006 alla Web Concert Hall International
Competition-USA) e Busoni, per l' anniversario del 150° della nascita nel 2016. Dopo aver
registrato l'opera omnia di Rachmaninoff e alcuni CD dedicati a Reger con Velut Luna, è
stato recentemente pubblicato dall'etichetta italiana Limen Music un DVD con l'opera
omnia per due pianoforti di Ferruccio Busoni. Teresa Trevisan è attualmente docente di
pianoforte principale presso il Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Tartini” di Trieste, quale
vincitore del Concorso Nazionale per esami e titoli. La sua esperienza pedagogica ha
portato nel corso degli anni molti suoi studenti a importanti riconoscimenti e premi in
concorsi nazionali ed internazionali.!
E' frequentemente invitata in giurie di Concorsi pianistici in Italia e all'estero e tiene
regolarmente masterclasses di pianoforte e duo pianistico in Università e Accademie
d'Europa (Albania, Austria, Belgio, Finlandia, Francia, Gran Bretagna, Lituania, Slovenia,
Spagna, Turchia). E' attualmente direttore artistico del Concorso Pianistico Internazionale
"Filippo Trevisan" e del Concorso Internazionale di Musica "Città di Palmanova".!

Born in the Venetian fortress of Palmanova, graduated “cum laude” and a special
ministerial mention from the Music Conservatory “Giuseppe Tartini”, in Trieste. Her
teachers were Luciano Gante in Trieste and Aquiles Delle Vigne at the Ecole Normale de
Musique “Alfred Cortot” in Paris, where she also became his assistant. These professors
had a deep influence on her artistic and pedagogical development. However, her first
piano teacher Maria Puxeddu contributed at a large extent to immerse her in the piano
pedagogy since the youth.!
Teresa Trevisan was awarded various recognitions at national and international!
competitions performing in Italy and abroad, in Europe and USA. Always been interested
in Chamber Music, she attended the International Menhuin Academy of Gstaad and the
International Academy of the Trio di Trieste in Duino. Much of her artistic career was
devoted to the piano duo ensemble, first with his brother Filippo and currently with Flavio
Zaccaria, aiming at discovering a repertoire less known such as Reger (Web Concert Hall
honorary mention in 2006) and Busoni for the 150° anniversary of his birth in 2016. After
recording the opera omnia by Rachmaninoff and some CDs dedicated to Reger, it has
recently been released by the Italian label Limen Music a DVD including the opera omnia
for two pianos by Ferruccio Busoni. !
Teresa Trevisan is currently full time piano professor at the Trieste Music Conservatory, as
a winner of the last National State Competition. Her experience as a pedagogue over the
years has led many students to important recognitions and awards in national and
international renown competitions. Besides she is frequently invited to sit in piano
competitions juries in Italy and abroad as well as to give piano and piano-duo
masterclasses in many important Universities and Academies in Europe (Albania, Austria,
Belgium, Finland, France, Great Britain, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey). Moreover she
is the artistic director of the International Piano Competition “Filippo Trevisan” as well as
the International Music Competition “Città di Palmanova”.!

M° Salvatore Spanò!
Nato a Marsala nel 1965, si è diplomato in pianoforte
presso il Conservatorio "V. Bellini" di Palermo sotto la
guida di Antonio Fortunato e si è perfezionato in seguito
con Luigi Mostacci, Maria Curcio, Aldo Ciccolini e Boris
Petrushansky. Vincitore di concorsi nazionali ed
internazionali (tra i quali il "M. Canals" di Barcellona in
Spagna, il "Città di Catanzaro", il "Città di Senigallia, il "V.
Bellini” di Caltanissetta e il Concorso Internazionale di
Pretoria in Sudafrica), si è esibito come solista e con
orchestra in varie città italiane e ha svolto tournée in
Giappone, U.S.A., Australia, Sudafrica, Russia, Francia, Spagna, Grecia, Bulgaria,
Inghilterra, Olanda, Germania, Israele, Croazia, Svezia, Lettonia, Danimarca, riscuotendo
sempre grande consenso di pubblico e di critica. Ha collaborato con artisti del calibro di
Luis Alva, Paolo Montarsolo, ElénaObratzova e Nicola Martinucci. E' stato ospite in diverse
trasmissioni televisive e ha registrato per la RAI, la RTVE (Radio TelevisionEspanol),
Radio Zagabria, Radio Capodistria e ha registrato un LP per la Empire Master Sound di
Bruxelles e un CD per la Sipario Dischi di Milano. Tiene regolarmente corsi di
perfezionamento pianistico in Spagna, Grecia, Danimarca, Polonia, Croazia e negli USA
ed è invitato a far parte delle giurie in importanti concorsi pianistici internazionali come
Madrid, Ankara, Darmstadt, Andorra, Lamezia Terme, Grosseto, Barletta e molti altri.
Attualmente insegna pianoforte principale al conservatorio "L. Campiani” di Mantova, del
quale è anche Direttore dal 2013.!

Was born in 1965 in Marsala (Sicily). He obtained his performers diploma at Palermo
Conservatoire and continued his piano studies with Luigi Mostacci, Maria Curcio, Aldo

M° Pasquale Iannone!

mia classe presso l’Accademia di Biella per passarvi un’audizione.
Rimasi subito colpito dalla potenza del suo suono ottenuto senza
sforzo visibile, nonché dalla coerenza del suo discorso musicale,
diretto, scevro da manierismi di dubbio gusto.!
“Ecco un elemento che si farà strada” – pensai – e non credo di
essermi sbagliato.Oggi Pasquale Iannone conta tra i pianisti che
“sanno” non soltanto suonare ed interpretare, ma affrontare altresì le
pagine più ardue del repertorio virtuosistico; quel repertorio pressoché
scomparso da una quindicina d’anni dai programmi pianistici."ALDO CICCOLINI!

portando, in questa ultima veste, i suoi allievi a primeggiare nelle più grandi competizioni
internazionali. Le sue incisioni discografiche e le sue esecuzioni di brani come il Concerto
op.59 di Moszkowsky e del Concerto n.4 di Scharwenka, oltre che del repertorio più
consueto,lo hanno collocato nella cerchia dei migliori pianisti italiani apprezzati anche
all’estero nella stessa misura. Negli ultimi due anni, Pasquale Iannone ha suonato sia in
recital che con orchestra in Italia, Romania, Giappone, Francia, USA, Germania ed ha
debuttato con grande successo in Turchia (Istanbul) con la Wiener Kammer symphonie ed
in Messico con l’Orquesta Sinfonica del Estato del México. Nel Giugno 2014, è stato
inoltre invitato a far parte della giuria del “Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano
Competition” (Salt Lake City – Utah – USA). Ultimamente effettuato una tournée in Cina,
ha suonato il Concerto Soirée di Rota a Budapest con la MAV Symphony Orchestra, ha
debuttato in Bulgaria con il 5° Concerto di Beethoven, ha suonato ad Ankara con la
BaskentChamber Orchestra, è tornato in recital a Milano in Sala Verdi, ha debuttato in
Polonia in recital ed alGasteig di Monaco di Baviera (Sala Carl Orff), città in cui tornerà
nell’aprile 2017 per suonare nella Herkulessaal il Concerto n.3 di Beethoven.!

Pianist of international renown, Pasquale Iannone has benn graduated cum laude in 1984
at the Bari “N. Piccinni” Conservatory with Gregorio Goffredo, Pasquale Iannone pursued
further studies with Aldo Ciccolini, Marisa Somma. In 1987 he got the Diploma with
honours at the Royal College of Music in London. From 1992 he has been associated with
Eugenio Bagnoli at the Fondazione “G. Cini” of Venezia. The pianist has won several
national competitions and international as well such the “A. Casella” (Naples 1989); “Carlo
Zecchi” (Rome 1991. In 1994 Pasquale Iannone has been top prize winner at the
prestigeous “Gina Bachauer” International Piano Competition in Salt Lake City (USA) and
in 1995 he has been awarded of the Second Prize and the Special Fauré Prize at the New
Orleans International Piano Competition. In July 2003 he succeeded in the “Web Concert
Hall International Competition” (USA) winning both as a soloist and as a Piano Duo
together with Paola Bruni. He has also been awarded of the “Foyer 2005” Prize by the
“Foyer des Artistes” in Rome for his carreer and the quality of his playing. Pasquale
Iannone has performed in many italian cities (Siracusa, Bari, Lecce, Avellino, Pescara,
Mantova, Pesaro, Napoli, Brindisi, Catania, Milano, Roma, Venezia) for important concert
association like the Lyceum Club of Catania, Amici della Musica of Trapani, Camerata
Musicale Barese, Concerti TELECOM at the “Sistina” Theatre in Rome, Società dei
Concerti of Milano, Fondazione “G. Cini” of Venezia. He has played as soloist with the
Orchestra Sinfonica della Provincia di Bari, Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, Orchestra
Filarmonica del Teatro Petruzzelli, Orchestra Sinfonica della Provincia di Lecce, Orchestra
“A. Scarlatti” di Napoli, Orchestra “Cantelli” in Milano, Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta, the
Utah Symphony Orchestra in the United States, with many rumenian Orchestras, . Among
the conductors who led these orchestras there are the names of Franco Caracciolo, Carlo
Franci, Rino Marrone, Michele Marvulli, Jorge Mester, Ovidiu Balan, Flavio Emilio Scogna,
Ola Rudner. Many of Iannone’s performances have been broadcasted live by RAI (Italy)
and KBYU (Provo,Utah). In the United States he has performed at the University of
Michigan (Ann Arbor), Cleveland, Salt Lake City (Abravanel Hall, Hassembly Hall), New
Orleans, Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge), Macon, in France at the Salle Cortot
and Centre Bosendorfer of Paris. He has also performed in Edimburgh (Reid Hall),
Amsterdam (Concertgebow Recital Hall), and Germany. In 1996 Mr Iannone gave made
his debut in South Africa where he played the Rachmaninov 3th Concerto with the
Transvaal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra under the
baton of Carlo Franci and Reinard Schwartz. In 1997 Pasquale Iannone has recorded two
CDs : the first with a live performance of the Rachmaninov 3th Concerto and the second
with the two Brahms’ piano Sonatas and the first two studies. In 2000 he has record an
other CD with Tschaikowsky’s and Rachmaninov’s piano music sponsored by the
prestigious “G. Cini” Foundation of Venice which has been awarded as the best Italian Cd
of the year. He also played in two pianos ensemble with the italian pianist Paola Bruni.
They have been invited to play by prestigious concert societies in Italy, Usa, Rumenia, Sud
Korea and South Africa where they performed with the Johannesburg Philharmonic
Orchestra. The great conductor and composer Carlo Franci dedicated a piece for 2 pianos,
great orchestra and electronic sound to their Duo which has been recorded by the Italian
label “Musicaimmagine” under the baton of the composer himself. In the last years, highly
acclaimed performances of Mr Iannone have been the Poulenc 2 Pianos Concerto played
with Aldo Ciccolini, appearances in recital and as soloist with orchestra in Japan, two
concerts in Carnegie Hall (Stern Hall) in New York, the performance of the Piano Concerto
op.59 by Moszkowsky with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie in Germany and in Milan
where he has been immediately invited again to play with the Württembergische
Philharmonie Reutlingen the X. Scharwenka’s Piano Concerto n.4 performance which
obtained a great success. Artistic Director of some music organization in Puglia (Italy), Mr.
Iannone organizes concert Series and a Summer Piano Festival and is also very active as
a teacher in Italy and abroad. Many of his pupils have won National and International
prizes. Among other Prizes, Mr. Iannone’s pupils won the 1st Prizes in the : 2013 Hilton
Head International Young Artists Piano Competition - USA, Aarhus International Piano
Competition 2013- (Denmark), 2012 Eastman Young Artists International Piano
Competition - USA, 2012 Thomas & Evon Cooper International Piano Competition USA, 2012 Gina Bachauer Young Artists International Piano Competition - USA, 19th
and 20th International Fryderyck Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth
(Szafarnia - Poland), 2012 and 2011 Young Pianist of the North (Newcastle upon Tyne England)!
and have been prized in the Arthur Rubistein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv
and in the Busoni Competition in Italy, Cleveland International Piano Competition 2016,
Ettlingen International Piano Competition 2016.!
In the last three years, Mr. Iannone played as recitalist and as soloist with orchestra in
Italy, Roumania, Japan, France, USA and Germany and gave his acclaimed debut in
Istanbul (Turkey) in March 2013 with the Wiener Kammersymphonie and in Mexico with
the Orquesta Sinfonica del Estato del México. In the 2014 he served as a juror in the
prestigious “Gina Bachauer” International Artists Piano Competition in Salt Lake City (Utah
– USA). Between the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015, he toured China and gave
his debut in Budapest with the Concerto Soirée by Nino Rota with the MAV Symphony
Orchestra. During the following part of 2015 Mr Iannone, among othe engagements,
played in Ankara with the Baskent Chamber Orchestra, gave his debut in Bulgaria with the
Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto, gave an acclaimed recital in Milan “Sala Verdi”,
performed in Münich in the Gasteig (Carl Orff Saal) and gave his debut in Krakow in
Poland. Among his 2017 concerts there is the performance of Beethoven’s Third Concerto
in the Herkulessaal in Munich. "I remember Pasquale Iannone as a young man seated at
the piano awaiting his entrance exam into my class at the International Accademy of Biella.
As he played his first few pages, I immediately noticed his rare gifts as a pianist: the ample
scale of his dynamics, the coherence of his interpretation free of low level mannerisms,
technical precision. I immediately thought this boy would one day make people talk about
himself. I don’t think I was wrong: Pasquale Iannone is at ease today with whatever
difficulty he meets. With warmest affection I wish him the best success." !

I consider Pasquale Iannone to be one of the most gifted pianists of the generation. His
very high technical ability and profound sensibility as an interpreter place him at the
forefront in today’s international concert scene. !

M° Valentina Berman!
Ha studiato alla Scuola di Musica Centrale del Conservatorio di
Mosca e, poi, nello stesso conservatorio nella classe del famoso
insegnante e pianista M° A. Shazches. Dopo essersi diplomata con
lode al Conservatorio di Mosca, la Sig.ra Berman si è dedicata
all’insegnamento. Ha lavorato per più di 26 anni nella Scuola di
Musica del Conservatorio di Mosca come una delle più rispettate
insegnanti. La maggior parte dei suoi ex-studenti oggi sono
concertisti, insegnanti, accompagnatori che lavorano in Russia e altre
nazioni. A partire dal 1990 la Sig.ra Berman continua la sua attività
pedagogica in Italia, dove risiede permanentemente. Alcuni dei suoi
allievi qui sono risultati vincitori di premi in competizioni nazionali e
internazionali, molti danno concerti in Italia e all’estero. La Sig.ra Berman continua la
grande tradizione della scuola pianistica russa e prende parte alle giurie delle competizioni
internazionali.!
Is an exponant for the Russian piano playing tradition, which harks back to the XIX
century. She was a piano pupil of Avram Schatzkes, who himself studied with Nikolai
Medtner.For 26 years she was a respected teacher at the Central School of Music of the
Moscow State Conservatoire. Together with her husband, the great piano virtuoso Lazar
Berman, she moved to Italy, where she became a highly sought after piano professor,
teaching high caliber pianists and serving on competition jurys. She actively teaches
masterclasses in Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Slovakia and Lithuania. Valentina Berman
resides in Milan.
