Una volta che Framesi e i gruppi
stilistici hanno scelto i trend
della stagione, io inizio a immaginare
i look ambientati in un contesto
coerente.
Questo significa pensare agli sfondi
per le foto e alle location per i video,
cercare i materiali e guidare
l’allestimento del set.
Once Framesi and the styling teams
have chosen the season trends, I start
imagining how a coherent setting for
the collection could be.
This means thinking of a background
for the pictures and a location for the
videos, searching materials and
attending the construction of the set.
Infatti. Ho iniziato come modello
e mi sono innamorato del set
fotografico in tutti i suoi aspetti, poi ho
deciso di dedicarmi alla fotografia e
oggi viaggio in tutto il mondo facendo
ciò che amo. Sono fortunato.
Right. I started as a model and fell in
love with every aspect of the shooting
set, and then I decided to dedicate
my life to photography.
Now I travel all over the world making
what I love most. I am lucky.

Does your past as a model

Certo, riesco a capire le emozioni
di chi sta davanti all’obiettivo
e ad entrare in empatia con lei o con
lui. Questo crea un clima di fiducia
e molta più spontaneità.
Sure, I can easily understand
the emotions of people in front of my
camera and feel empathy.
This creates confidence and freedom
in the models.

What was working
at the new Italian Style Framesi
and Italian Style Energy
collection like?
Conosco il team Framesi da molto
tempo e con tutti lavoro bene.
Gli stilisti, in particolare, sono precisi,
professionali e collaborativi.
La loro visione della moda è originale,
ma mai sopra le righe, quindi anche
le modelle e i modelli sono a
proprio agio nei look che interpretano.
E se loro sono sicuri di sé e rilassati,
il risultano dello shooting è davvero
fantastico.
I have known the Framesi team for
a long time and we work well together.
The stylists are particularly precise,
professional and cooperative.
Their point of view on fashion is
original, but never over-the –top and
then models are satisfied with the look
they wear.
And when they are self-confident and
relaxed, the shooting result is really
fantastic.
Dove vengono realizzati
gli shooting e i video?
Di solito cerchiamo i migliori studi
fotografici di Milano, che sono
veramente ben attrezzati
e ci consentono di disporre di grandi
spazi. Con la tecnologia moderna,
poi, riusciamo a realizzare effetti
speciali sempre più sofisticati
e spettacolari.
Come hai realizzato i set
di questa nuova collezione?
Ho cercato di non cadere negli
stereotipi.
Per Country Class, quindi, niente prati
verdi e caldi salotti, ma una natura
aspra e selvaggia, che rappresenta
non la ricerca di rassicurazioni ma la
sfida al mondo che cambia.
Fantachic è immaginazione, viaggio
della mente: qui ho scelto di ricreare
l’interno di una navicella spaziale
che trasporta chissà dove sogni ed
emozioni.

Where shooting and video are
usually made?
We use the best photography studios
in Milan that are really well equipped
and where large spaces are available.
In addition, the modern technology
helps us create special effects
more and more sophisticated and
spectacular.
How did you create the sets
for the new collection?
I tried not to fall into stereotypes.
For Country Class, then, no green
fields and cozy living rooms, but
a rugged and wild landscape, in order
to represent the challenge of a
changing world rather than the search
for reassurance.
Fantachic is imagination, a journey
of the mind: in this case, I have
created a kind of space shuttle taking
dreams and emotions who knows
where.
