Caratteristiche dei calici Xtreme®
it XTREME ® è un marchio registrato che rende
i prodotti più resistenti e dunque più sicuri
e convenienti. I calici prodotti con questa tecnologia
permettono di lavorare in perfetta sicurezza
in condizioni per l’appunto “ESTREME”. I nuovi
calici Italesse dotati di tecnologia Xtreme ® migliorano
radicalmente le proprietà del vetro dal punto
di vista chimico, meccanico e ottico, tutte proprietà
quantitativamente misurabili che attingono la propria
forza da una miscela segreta. La totale assenza
di piombo e la presenza soltanto per l’11% di ossidi
di metalli pesanti, consente di realizzare un vetro
perfettamente riciclabile, attento all’ambiente
e ai consumatori finali, nel rispetto delle normative
vigenti.

subito attaccato durante la fase di fusione allo stelo che solo successivamente viene stirato. Tale lavorazione rafforza enormemente il calice nel punto
di rottura critico: quello di saldatura tra gambo e piattello rendendo i calici ancora più resistenti.

È pensando ad un prodotto emozionale, divertente,
capace di decorare con eleganza, mantenendo la sobrietà
e la tecnicità che da sempre contraddistinguono le
proposte Italesse, che abbiamo deciso di affidare al trio
di architetti e designer svedesi Claesson Koivisto Rune
la realizzazione di alcune fantasie in grado di vestire
tumbler, calici e caraffe della nostra collezione.
Una richiesta – avvalorata dalla decennale esperienza
nella decorazione del vetro sviluppata per i grandi
marchi internazionali di champagne, vini, liquori –
che ha dato vita a quattro Patterns ispirati dal fluire dei
liquidi e dalle tante poetiche forme generate dal contatto
con il vetro. Gocce, rivoli d’acqua, bolle e soffice
schiuma hanno così delineato una collezione di prodotti
articolata che si completa con innovativi runners
e tovagliette all’americana realizzati in tessuti tecnici
presi a prestito dal mondo dell’arredo outdoor. Lavorati
a jacquard per un effetto materico e declinati in quattro
delicate nuances, i nuovi runners e le tovagliette
si abbinano ai bicchieri Pattern di Italesse per tavole
dinamiche che innovano il servizio professionale con
un tocco divertente e raffinato.

en Thinking of an emotional and funny product that
decorates with elegance, while maintaining the sobriety
and technical approach that has always characterized
Italesse items, we have decided to entrust three Swedish
architects and designers, Claesson Koivisto Rune, with
some patterns to decorate tumblers, glasses and carafes
of our collection. Based on decades of experience in
decorating glass developed for great international brands
of champagne, wines and liquors, we are now launching
four patterns inspired by flowing liquids and the many
poetic shapes generated by the contact with glass.
Drops, water trickles, bubbles and soft foam
characterize an articulated collection of products that is
complemented by innovative runners and placemats
made of technical fabrics, which are borrowed from the
outdoor furnishing world. The new runners and
placemats, with a jacquard textured look and in four
delicate colors, match Pattern glasses by Italesse for
dynamic tables which innovate professional service with
a funny and refined touch.

misurano la capacità interna del bicchiere per tracciare la
tacca di dosaggio con precisione assoluta; la tampografia

sophisticated printing techniques such as serigraphy,
pad-printing and sandblasting, to create ‘customdesigned products’ featuring the customer’s logo in

La linea Tiburón, collezione che deve l’ispirazione delle sue
curve ardite ed aggressive alla forma di un potente squalo, è
formata da quattro pregiati calici. Due calici vino da 620 cc e 500
cc per degustare tutte le tipologie di vini invecchiati e maturi nella
versione Large e i vini giovani nella versione Medium. Entrambi
presentano una picûre dalla linea tagliente e profonda concepita
per percepire la reale colorazione del vino mentre la coppa del
calice ne esalta la massa. La sciancratura della parte bassa della
coppa, inoltre, permette che il vino si sviluppi nella parte alta della
stessa favorendone l’ossigenazione. Le due flûte sono state pensate
per servire pregiati spumanti e champagne che necessitano
di particolare ossigenazione. La flûte da 220 cc è ideale anche
per servire vini da dessert, vini liquorosi o distillati. Il particolare
angolo acuto della coppa, associato alla pasta di vetro Xtreme®,
rende i calici particolarmente resistenti.

en The Tiburón line, a collection whose bold and aggressive shapes
are reminiscent of a powerful shark, consists of four valuable
glasses. Two 620 cc and 500 cc wine glasses to taste all types
of aged and mature wines in the Large version and young wines
in the Medium version. Both of them feature a deep and sharp
picûre, which has been designed to see the real color of wine, while
the cup enhances its mass. Additionally, the waist of the low section
of the cup lets wine develop in the top section, taking oxygenation
to top levels. The two flutes have been designed to serve valuable
sparkling wines and champagnes that need special oxygenation.
The 220 cc flute is also ideal to serve dessert wines, fortified wines
or distillates. The particularly acute angle of the cup, associated
with the Xtreme® glass paste, makes the stemwares very resistant.

Vertical è la collezione di calici in vetro cristallino dall'eleganza
raffinata e dalle caratteristiche polifunzionali. La linea è formata
da tre calici Magnum, due calici vino e una maxi flûte in vetro
soffiato a bocca e lavorato a mano, pensati per la degustazione
di grandi vini che hanno bisogno di essere ossigenati. Vertical
si completa poi con due calici vino di dimensioni large e medium,
due flûte da champagne a da un tumbler polifunzionale.
I calici Vertical sono dotati di una speciale picûre che favorisce
il perlage e sono pensati per soddisfare ogni esigenza di fruizione
garantendo massimi livelli di resistenza grazie alla tecnologia
Xtreme ® con cui vengono realizzati. Questa particolare
tecnologia, dove coppa e gambo sono realizzati in un unico
pezzo ed il piattello è attaccato prima della stiratura dello stelo,
permettono un utilizzo in ogni ambiente anche in situazioni per
l’appunto “estreme”: aperitivi, cene e feste diventano momenti

en Vertical is a collection of refined and elegant crystalline
glasses with multifunctional features. The line consists of three
mouth-blown and hand-worked glass Magnum glasses, two wine
glasses and an extra-large flute, designed for tasting great wines
that need oxygenation. Vertical also includes two large and
medium sized wineglasses, two champagne flûtes and one
multifunctional tumbler. The shape of vertical glasses includes
a special picûre that enhances perlage and the design meets all
requirements, guaranteeing top strength based on the Xtreme ®
technology they are made by. In this particular technology the
cup and the stem are made out of a single piece and the baseplate
is joined before the stem is made; this makes these items suitable
for all environments, including "extreme" situations: cocktail
parties, dinners and feasts become pleasant and absolutely safe
moments to be enjoyed.

‘refrigeratore’ che può essere lasciato libero di ruotare sulla tavola
per decantare vini rossi invecchiati o essere appoggiato sulla base
porta ghiaccio per mantenere il vino alla corretta temperatura.
Molte volte, infatti, i vini rossi vengono serviti ad una temperatura
troppo elevata rendendo inadatta la degustazione. Alavin è perfetto
per servire anche freschi succhi di frutta, latte o acqua nelle
breakfast room degli hotel. Dotato di un tappo in acrilico
trasparente che permette il servizio anche in banchetti all’aperto
e di un comodo accessorio che consente di capovolgere la caraffa

Carlos Tíscar (1964) si laurea alla scuola di arti applicate a Valencia.
Si occupa di progetti di abitazioni, contract, uffici, urbanistica
e oggetti per la casa. Ha insegnato disegno industriale presso: Barreira
(Valencia), AIMME (Paterna), and EsdiCEU (Alfara Del Patriarca).
Luca Trazzi nasce a Verona. Nel 1987 vince il premio Carlo Scarpa.
Lavora quattordici anni con Aldo Rossi. Nel campo del design progetta
per: Alfi, Audi, Chicco, Fiorucci, FrancisFrancis!, Fiat, Guzzini, Illy,
Kreon, Legnoart, Pedrini, Porsche, Plank, Martini, Mazzega, Swatch,
SchönhuberFranchi, Viceversa, Wmf, Zucchetti Robotica, Mesa,
Barilla, Foppapedretti, Mr & Mrs Fragrance.
Federico Venier was born in Trieste. In 2002 starts Archikò studio.
Studio’s activities ranges from designing and furnishing of villas
and dwellings to creating public premises, restaurants, shops, offices
and exhibition stands until reaching the industrial design.
Designer Todd Bracher is currently based in New York City,
he has been pinned as “America’s next Great Designer”. Heading Tom
Dixon’s London based design studio, acting as Professor of Design
at ESAD( France), cofounder of the experimental collaboration ‘to22’,
creative Director of the global luxury brand Georg Jensen.
Carlos Tíscar (1964), graduated from the school of applied arts
in Valencia. Currently realizes projects of home, contract and
Office furniture, as well as urban furniture and household objects.
He has given industrial design lessons at some schools and public
institutions: Barreira (Valencia), AIMME (Paterna), and EsdiCEU
(Alfara Del Patriarca).
