NOMINATION jewellery is designed, created
and produced in Florence, Tuscany. The
company draws upon the rich Florentine
goldsmith traditions and modern technological
manufacturing techniques to produce its
collections of precious jewellery. The
Italian production process established by
NOMINATION ensures a quality product, in
accordance with the highest sector standards,
from the use of raw materials through to
the final phases of quality control and the
exceptional post-purchase customer service.
NOMINATION uses stainless steel of
the highest quality, a collection common
denominator, stainless steel is used in most
of the brand’s creations. Stainless steel is
hypoallergenic, it does not tarnish and it’s
shiny silver finish provides an elegant yet
refined look which enhances the precious
nature of the decorative details in 18k gold
and sterling silver, as well as other precious
materials: natural hard stones, precious and
semiprecious stones and even diamonds.
Sterling silver, a material traditionally used
to make jewellery, is revisited in a modern
and contemporary style, thanks to the original

Nomination uses a wide variety of precious
and semiprecious gemstones as well as Cubic
Zirconia, synthetic stones, Swarovski Elements and
Swarovski Zirconia. All our stones are carefully
selected, however natural stones vary in colour and
may display some of their natural characteristics:
inclusions, streaks, veining. These features are to
be expected in natural stones and are not to be
considered imperfections.

Nomination utilizza solo argento della migliore
qualità anallergico e trattato con varie finiture.
La rodiatura per mantenere la lucentezza
caratteristica del metallo. L’ossidatura, quando
si voglia dare un effetto vintage ad una
determinata collezione. La doratura in oro giallo
24kt e la doratura in oro rosa con base in oro
giallo 24kt e finitura rosa 22kt, per impreziosire
ancor più alcuni gioielli.
Per dare colore e sottolineare alcuni
dettagli, Nomination utilizza smalto lavorato
artigianalmente. I dettagli in smalto sono resistenti
all’acqua ma potrebbero essere danneggiati da
sostanze corrosive. Lo smalto resta comunque un
materiale fragile sensibile a urti e graffi.
Per evitare il danneggiamento delle pietre o
possibili graffi, raccomandiamo di conservare
i gioielli in un apposito contenitore por tagioielli
in scomparti separati con materiale morbido.
Si raccomanda di togliere i gioielli prima di
applicare profumi, creme sul corpo, soluzioni
solari e oli di qualsiasi tipo. Non indossare
inoltre i gioielli se si lavora con detergenti,
candeggina, ammoniaca o alcool: queste
sostanze possono scolorire o danneggiare le
pietre.
Per pulire l’argento o l’oro usare un panno
morbido asciutto. Non usare spazzole che
potrebbero graffiare i gioielli. Per pulire
l’acciaio usare acqua tiepida e sapone e uno
spazzolino morbido.
Nomination uses only the finest quality
hypoallergenic sterling silver treated with various
finishes.
Rhodium is used to prevent tarnishing and
maintain shine, specific collections are oxidised
to achieve a vintage effect and others are made
more precious with gold plating: 24K yellow
gold plating and 22K rose gold plating. Each
item with a rose gold finish is plated first with
24K yellow gold and then with 22K rose gold.
ACCIAIO
STAINLESS STEEL
Nomination utilizza solo acciaio della migliore
qualità (304 o 316). L’acciaio è un materiale

in gioielleria e non è malleabile come l’oro o
l’argento; tuttavia, una volta realizzato, il tuo gioiello in

Nomination uses only the highest quality stainless
steel (304 or 316). Stainless steel is incredibly
strong and resistant, is does not tarnish and it is
hypoallergenic. It was not traditionally used to create
jewellery as it is not malleable like gold and silver,
however once created your stainless steel jewellery
is designed to resist the test of time even if you wear
it everyday.

Nomination uses coloured enamel to highlight
and enhance decorative details. Enamel details
are painted by hand. Enamel details are resistant
to water but may be damaged by corrosive
substances. Enamel should be regarded as a fragile
material as a violent blow may cause the enamel to
crack and the colour to be disturbed.

LEATHER
Nomination utilizza solo pelle realizzata in Italia.
La pelle naturale richiede una cura speciale al fine
di preservarne il colore originale, la finitura e la
morbidezza. Si raccomanda per questo di rimuovere
i gioielli in pelle prima di bagnarsi con acqua o
di utilizzare creme, oli e profumi. La pelle colorata
potrebbe scolorirsi alla luce diretta e prolungata del
sole. La pelle ha inoltre una naturale elasticità, per
cui potrebbe tendere ad allargarsi nel tempo dopo
essere stata indossata a lungo.
Nomination uses only genuine Italian leather. Natural
leather requires special care in order to preserve
its original colour, finish and softness so leather
jewellery should be removed before washing and
contact with water, creams/oils and perfumes should
be avoided at all times. Coloured leather may fade if
exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. Leather
has a natural elasticity so you may find that your
bracelet may seem a little larger after you have been
wearing it for a while.
To avoid damaging gemstones and
scatching your jewellery store them in a
jewellery box with separate compartments
or in soft pouches. Remember to remove
your jewellery before applying perfumes,
skin creams, suntan lotion or oils of any
kind. Never wear your jewellery when
working with detergents, bleaches, ammonia
or alcohols; these chemicals will cause
discoloration, damage and loosen stone
settings.
To clean sterling silver or gold plated
jewellery use a dry soft clean cloth to wipe
them clean. Do not use brushes of any kind as
these may scratch your jewellery. To clean
stainless steel jewellery use warm soapy
water and a soft toothbrush.
