DETUNE-X begins as a solo “industrial/noise” side project of Stefano
Rossello (:BAHNTIER//) and releases in the 2004 the first album "burnow!"
on Rustblade. In August 2007 DETUNE-X will release the new album "PUREVIL" but
this is not the only news: change happened and at nowdays DETUNE-X become a duo
project made by Stefano Rossello and Eric Van Wonterghem (SONAR, MONOLITH,
INSEKT). The sound of "Pure evil" is industrial and incorporates hypnotic hard
edge beats with grating precision percussion. Each track is a version of the
same theme with refinements, additional sounds and samples. This release just
crushes. Fast paced hard edge rhythms pulse out of the speakers, hypnotic and
pounding to the last, with some really saturating loops that draw in the
listener and fantastic hypnotic sounds coupled with crisp and harsh percussion
like TERRORFAKT or SONAR but also some tribal part like THIS MORN OMINA or Ah
Cama-Sotz. The new DETUNE-X project will play live in October at the
Machinen Fest and in August at the "Two days of Schlagstrom" in Berlin. In Italy
it will play on July, the 6th at the "Super Decadence" with Horrorist and Gitane

DETUNE-X inizia nel 2004 come un progetto solista “industrial/noise”
dell’ artista Italiano Stefano Rossello (:BANHTIER//) con la release su
Rustblade dell’ album “burnow!”. In Agosto 2007 DETUNE-X pubblicherà il
nuovo album dal titolo “PUREVIL” ma questa non è l’ unica novità: già in
questa nuova release il progetto DETUNE-X diventa un duo composto da Stefano
Rossello e dall’ artista Eric Van Wonterghem (SONAR, MONOLITH, INSEKT).
“Purevil” è un album costruito su ritmiche industriali potenti, ossessive
che pulseranno fuori dagli speaker e loop di sonorità spinte in
alcuni casi alla saturazione in modo da creare nell’ ascoltatore
fantastiche atmosfere ipnotiche: percussioni harsh in stile
TERRORFAKT o SONAR ma anche tribali come THIS MORN OMINA o Ah Cama-Sotz.Il
nuovo progetto DETUNEX-X suonerà in Ottobre al Machinen Fest ed ad Agosto al
“TWO DAYS OF SCHLAGSTROM” in Berlin. In Italia il progetto ha esordito dal vivo
in anteprima assoluta Il 6 Luglio al “Super Decadence” insieme ad Horrorist e
Gitane Demone più molti altri ospiti.

MONOLITH takes us on a sonic journey cleverly departing from his most recent
ritual oriented work to explore new territories. Repetitive loops, hypnotising
electronic sequences and carrying rhythmics take you into a multi-coloured
journey through electro and industrial landscapes. Eric van Wonterghem is one of
the most prolific and influential artists in Europe's noise and EBM scene.
Started in 1979 as keyboard player in a rockband, Eric switched to total
electronic music composing, created with Dirk Ivens the Absolute Body Control
project since from 1981 and from 1984 in The Klinik . Van Wonterghem has gone on
to do a number of high-profile collaborations, including Sonar and put his mark
in the project Dive. When he meets Mario Vaerewijck, they started 1989 together
the first famous Album "we can trust" (Insekt). The most new project is Detune-x
, with the member of Bahntier(Stefano Rossello). Monolith , though, is perhaps
Van Wonterghem's most personal project: an outlet for the artist to indulge
all of his musical passions, from Arabic chant to distorted electro. Club hit "
Disco Buddha " perhaps best reflects his sonic eclecticism, incorporating enough
ethnic exoticism for world music fans with thick, distorted beats aimed squarely
at the dance floor. He is also working as a mastering Engineer (Prodam) , FOH
sound engineer and producer. Now brought together by Rustblade in this 4cdbox
called "Reborn"(limited to only 150 copies!) will be included 43 tracks from
Monolith's works previously released on “Compressed Form, Labyrinth, Tribal
Globe and The Sub System" cds and 1 sticker/ 1 button / 2 postcard.

MONOLITH ci accompagna in un viaggio sonico partendo dai suoi più odierni
lavori rituali verso nuovi territori. Loops ripetitivi, sequenze
elettroniche ipnotizzanti e ritmiche portanti Ci porteranno
in un viaggio multi colore attraverso territori industriali ed electro.
Eric Van Wonterghem a livello musicale è uno degli artisti Europei più
prolifici e che più ha influenzato la scena e gli artisti Noise ed EBM.
Nasce artisticamente nel 1979 come keyboard player in una rock band,
dopo di chè passò completamente alla composizione musicale elettronica
creando con Dirk Ivens il progetto Absolute Body Control nel 1981
e nel 1984 il progetto Klink. Van Wonterghem ha partecipato e collezionato
un grosso numero di collaborazione molto importanti, come SONAR o
condizionando fortemente il progetto DIVE. Quando incontrò Mario Vaerewijck
formò il progetto INSEKT pubblicando il famosissimo album “we can trust”.
Il suo più recente progetto è DETUNE-X insieme all’ artista Italiano Stefano
Rossello (:BAHNTIER//). Monolith pensa che si tratti del suo progetto più
personale: una release nella quale Eric sprigiona tutta la sua passione
musicale, da canti Arabi ad elettronica distorta. La club hit “ Disco Buddha “ è
la traccia che meglio mostra il sonico ecletticismo di Monolith, incorporando al
suo interno allo stesso tempo esoticismo etnico per i fan della world music
unito a spessore e ritmi distorti destinati al dance floor. Eric ha lavorato ed
attualmente lavora come mastering engineer (nel suo studio di Prodam), FOH sound
engineer e produttore. A fine Settembre per Rustblade pubblicherà un esclusivo
4cdbox in edizione limitata di 150 copie chiamato “Reborn” comprendente 43

Last year for its 3rd "birthday" the Schlagstrom Berlin organization releases on
Rustblade a double Cd compilation (with big name of the industrial scene on it)
on 1.000 copies, sold out in very few mounths!. This year the Schlagstrom for
its 4th "birthday" will releases a new double Cd compilation available from
August the 17th at the door of the "two days of Schlagstrom!" and in world-wide
sell from the end of August. A new double copilation 100% pure noise, electro,
industrial with P.A.L., SONAR, INSEKT, DETUNE-X, ADAM-X, HECATE, PROYECTO

noise and electro European summer events: "Two days of Schlagstrom".
The festival will start and take place on August, the 17th @ Raw Tempel
(Berlin). A two days of music (15th artists from all Europe), video
