Fare la spesa nel Supermercato del Futuro, è realtà.
Oggi Cefla Shopfitting Solutions e Zenith Shop Design,
il proprio brand specializzato in arredamento su misura, sono
protagonisti del suo allestimento.
Shopping in the Supermarket of the Future is already a reality.
Today, Cefla Shopfitting Solutions and Zenith Shop Design,
the Group brand that specialises in made-to-measure
shopfitting, have played a pivotal role in its set-up.
Il progetto, ideato dall’Architetto Carlo Ratti (direttore del MIT
Senseable City Lab di Boston) per evolvere e rivoluzionare i parametri del supermercato, è stato creato da Coop e Inres (consorzio Coop per la progettazione e la realizzazione delle strutture commerciali) all’interno del Future Food District di Expo.
The project, conceived by architect Carlo Ratti (Director of
MIT Senseable City Lab, Boston) to improve and, indeed,
revolutionise supermarket parameters, was built by Coop and
Inres (the Coop consortium for the design and construction of
sales facilities) inside the Future Food District of the Milan Expo.
Sostenibile, interattiva e trasparente: ecco come è la spesa
nel Supermercato del Futuro. Immerso in un ambiente ricco
di nuovi stimoli, il visitatore può scegliere di acquistare disponendo di moltissime informazioni in più sui prodotti: indicazioni
istantanee e dettagliate grazie agli innovativi supporti tecnologici disposti in tutta l’area vendita.
Sustainable, interactive and clear: that’s how shopping is in
the Supermarket of the Future. Surrounded by an environment
bristling with new stimuli, the visitor can make purchase
decisions by drawing on a wealth of additional product
information: instantaneous, detailed info thanks to innovative
technological devices and tools throughout the retail area.

Zenith Shop Design è il brand di Cefla Shopfitting Solution
specializzato in soluzioni d’arredo custom. GDO e Retail,
Hospitality e rivestimenti interni su grande scala, Zenith Shop
Design cura ogni lavoro dall’idea alla realizzazione finale, con una
particolare attenzione verso il dettaglio e le necessità specifiche di
ogni progetto.
Zenith Shop Design is the Cefla Shopfitting Solutions brand that
specialises in custom shopfitting solutions. Organised large-scale
retail distribution outlets, hospitality facilities and large-scale internal
shopfitting: Zenith Shop Design takes care of everything from the
initial design stage to final completion, with meticulous attention to
detail and the specific needs of each project.
La scaffalatura perimetrale è creata con System25 in lamiera
bianca su misura con un piano speciale alto.
L’illuminazione del portaprezzi, quanto quella dei piani stessi,
è affidata a Digital Shelf System; mentre i tavoli espositivi
centro area Grocery sono realizzazioni su misura in plexiglass
e acciaio inox, ed ospitano Kinect: il monitor touch screen
che offre informazioni “aumentate” non presenti sull’etichetta
dei prodotti. Le teche interattive con sensore LED, invece,
raccontano il cibo del futuro, mentre sul tavolo costruito ad hoc,
il robot antropomorfo di ABB distribuisce mele in sacchetti.
The shelving system was created using System25 in madeto-measure white sheet metal with a special high shelf.
Lighting for price holders and the shelves themselves was
provided by Digital Shelf System. The central display tables at
the centre of the Grocery area, made to measure in Plexiglass
and stainless steel, include Kinect: this is a touchscreen
monitor that provides “augmented” information not found on
the product labels. Interactive display cases with LED sensors,
instead, provide info on the food of the future, while an ABB
robot on a specially built table distributes bagged apples.
Sono presenti, inoltre, corner dedicati a Caffè, Salumi, Vini,
Formaggi e Forneria, e la libreria.Coop; questi spazi, su misura,
adottano come codice cromatico il bianco, allineandosi al resto
del punto vendita, mentre l’angolo libreria è di colore antracite.
There are also special corners dedicated to Coffee, Salami,
Wine, Cheese and Baked goods, not to mention the Coop
bookshop; the dominant colour in these made-to-measure
spaces is white, in keeping with the rest of the retail outlet,
while the bookshop corner is anthracite grey.
