Ogni prodotto è un mondo. Viceversa progetta
a partire dallo scopo che si prefigge, dall’azione
che vuole ottenere, dal desiderio che spera
di suscitare. Non esistono azioni banali o ovvie: ad
ogni attività corrisponde un mondo e un prodotto
pensato ad hoc per realizzare una promessa.
Each product has a dual significance: the first
regards its function as an object, while the
second concerns the value we attribute to it.
A toaster is, of course, a household appliance,
but it is also instrumental to our awakening.
Viceversa creates and splits its highly appealing
projects according to the action that each of
its products induces: whether conceived to
organise, to attract, either in itself or by virtue of
its hidden magnetisms, to measure, or to induce
a smile, every product will add to its function
a further mission, simultaneously meeting
aesthetic canons and practical needs.
Every product is a world unto itself. Viceversa
designs things from the vantage point of the
intended purpose, of the action it aims to set
off, of the desire it hopes to trigger. Nothing is
obvious or taken for granted: for each activity
there is an environment and a product created
intuitively to bring a promise to fruition.

Esistono due significati che riguardano ogni
prodotto: il primo attiene alla sua funzione
di oggetto, il secondo al valore che gli attribuiamo.
Un tostapane è senz’altro un elettrodomestico,
ma è anche uno strumento funzionale
al nostro risveglio. Viceversa crea e suddivide
i propri progetti secondo l’azione che ogni suo
oggetto induce, seducendo: che sia nato per
organizzare, che attragga di per sè o in virtù
di magnetismi nascosti, che serva a misurare o
a sorridere, ogni prodotto aggiungerà alla propria
funzione un’ulteriore missione, soddisfacendo
contemporaneamente canoni estetici e bisogni
pratici.

semplicemente pitturare di rosso,
utilizzare un verde qualsiasi o,
viceversa, colorare uno stato
d’animo, un’idea, un concetto.
Cosa si ottiene frullando i blu
e i rosa della lavanda, perché
quell’arancio strappa un sorriso,
come mai quel viola fa spalancare
gli occhi: noi sappiamo perchè,
li abbiamo scelti per quel
motivo, per la sottile emozione
che provocano. Uno ad uno,
chiamandoli per nome.
Colorare di più, colorare meglio.
Dare un senso e un nome al
colore, all’emozione, all’umore.
Nascono così i colori Viceversa,
in grado di cambiare prospettiva
e tonalità a seconda di chi li
sceglie: Biancaldo, Splendoro,
Rosso fregola, Violanto, li
abbiamo chiamati per nome, ad
uno ad uno, per evocare la loro
sottile ironia.
Colouring is right, but right
colouring is better. You could
simply paint something red, or
use any old green. Or, viceversa,
you could choose to colour a
mood, an idea, a concept. What
do you get if you blend the blues
and pinks of lavender? Why does
that orange make you smile?
How come that purple makes
your eyes pop? We know why. It’s
the very reason why we chose
them: because of the subtle
emotions they arouse.
One by one, calling them by
name.
More and better colors. Give
meaning and a name to colors,
feelings, moods. Thus are born
the Viceversa colors, capable
of changing perspective and
hue depending on who chooses
them. Biancaldo, Splendoro,
Rosso fregola, Violanto: we
named them one by one in order
to evoke their subtle irony.

Cifra distintiva di Viceversa è proporre oggettistica
e complementi cucina rispettando quattro
parametri irrinunciabili: design d’autore, qualità
funzionale del prodotto, qualità dei materiali
impiegati e controllo rigoroso dei processi di
produzione.
Perché non contano solo belle forme, ricchezza
cromatica, appeal moderno e contemporaneo.
Contano la capacità imprenditoriale di investire su
una creatività originale e sulla volontà di seguire
la nascita e la realizzazione di un prodotto in ogni
singola fase del suo sviluppo.
Viceversa investe energie e risorse nella ricerca
e nella creatività di giovani e affermati designer
– italiani e stranieri - capaci di disegnare una
scenografia del quotidiano al passo con i tempi
