Armenian people, who have thousand-years
tradition of gardening and great experience of
wine-making, have their own secrets of fruit
brandies’ production. That secrets are passing
on from generation.
Artsakh Brandy Company produces a whole line
of strong fruit alcoholic drinks, that is Mulberry
Silver, Gold, Mulberry Platinum, Cornell, Apricot,
Plum, Peach, Wild Pear.
Furthermore, 3 and 5 year aged Brandy and

Production of ARTSAKH strong alcoholic drinks

Although the product on the whole is made in
accordance with the classical technologies,
used all over the world for berry brandies output,
the specific character of the raw material brings
to the usage of the unique local traditional techniques on the preliminary stage of production.

Artsakh Mulberry, Gelso, è una forte bevanda,
unica, con l’aroma e il gusto morbido del gelso
bianco e dell’acqua cristallina di montagna.
Per l’Armenia, ARTSAKH, non è solo una bevanda, ma la storia di una nazione e la cultura passata, presente e futura.
Il raccolto del gelso avviene nel mese di giugno, quando raggiunge la massima dolcezza. Le
bacche mature sono selezionate agitando i rami
dell’albero di gelso su tele di sacco (a mano o
con un martello di legno speciale).
Dopodiché le bacche sono messe in una grande
tinozza per la spremitura e fermentazione per
7-12 giorni.
Segue la doppia distillazione con la quale si ottiene il distillato di gelso da 70% vol.
Con 14-15 chilogrammi di raccolto si produce
un litro di distillato.
Tutto il distillato ottenuto è invecchiato in barili,
da uno a tre anni. Questo processo d’invecchiamento è un valore aggiunto, perché nella tradizione armena, normalmente, non si invecchiano
le bevande alcoliche.
Approfonditi esperimenti hanno indicato che il
materiale più adatto per l’invecchiamento del distillato è il legno prodotto dallo stesso albero;
questo consente ad ARTSAKH di ottenere una
bevanda unica per gusto e qualità e per la profondità del colore dorato.
Secondo gli specialisti i barili fatti con le doghe
di legno del gelso infondono al distillato un aroma unico, prodotto dalla diluizione delle sostanze presenti nel legno.
Gli intenditori di forti bevande alcoliche invecchiate noteranno immediatamente che Artsakh
Mulberry appartiene ad una categoria superiore
ed ha una collocazione simile a bevande come
tequila, rum, calvados e branby.
Artsakh Mulberry, is the unique strong drink
with bright aroma and from white mulberry and
crystal-clear water from mountain springs. For
Armenia ARTSAKH is not only a drink, but the
history of nation and culture, Armenia’s past,
present and future.
Mulberry picking falls on June - when it becomes
maximum sweet. The mature berries are picked
by shaking the branches of mulberry tree onto
sackcloths (by hand or with a special wooden
hammer).Then the berries are put into the tanks
where the mulberry juice emitted ferments in
7-12 days. It follows double distillation, resulting
in 70% vol.
Mulberry spirit 14-15 kg of mulberry produce
one litre of spirit. The ready-made mulberry spirit is aged in barrels for one to three years. This
is in a way a know-how of the producers of the
brand as traditionally the Armenians have the
drink non-aged.
Multiple in-depth experiments have shown that
the most suitable material for ageing of mulberry spirit is native - touta - barrels. Aging in the
mulberry tree barrels gives ARTSAKH its unique taste & quality and golden tone of various
depth. According to specialists, barrels made
from mulberry-wood stave have given the spirit
they contain a unique aroma resulted from the
solution of the substances present in the wood.
The experts of aged strong alcoholic drinks will
note at once, that Artsakh Mulberry belongs to
premium class and has a position side by side
with such drinks as: tequila, rum, calvados and
brandy.

Artsakh Apricot è qualcosa di speciale: viene
prodotto con albicocche mature dalla buccia
fragile, vellutata e dalla polpa succosa. La terra
natale dell’albicocca è considerata l’Armenia. La
parola albicocca in sé significa mela Armena dal
latino armenica.

trasparente, senza impurità e sedimenti, dal gusto superbo e dall’aroma delicato di frutta candita e prugne gialle. Ha una gradazione di 51% vol.

pesche mature selezionate, private del nocciolo,
spremute e fatte fermentare in grandi tinozze.
Ha una gradazione di 51% vol.
Artsakh Peach is produced by distillation of ripen peaches selected and Seedless peaches,
squeezed and fermented in large tubs. It has an
alcohol content of 51% by vol.

Artsakh Grape è prodotto con la speciale uva
selezionata Rkaciteli.
Contrariamente alla grappa fatta da bucce d’uva, il distillato di puro succo d’uva è alquanto
differente, ha un sapore intenso, più ricco ed un
aroma delicato.
Artsakh Grape is made of selected Rkaciteli sort
of grape. In contrast to grappa made of husks
the distillate of pure juice is quite different. It has
more rich intensive flavour and delicate aroma.

Cornel
Artsakh Cornel è una rara e squisita bevanda,
per ottenere la quale si usano bacche di corniolo
selvatico: piccole ma molto aromatiche.
Per ottenere un litro di Artsakh Cornel è necessario usare circa 35 chilogrammi di bacche di
corniolo.
Il distillato ottenuto è ammorbidito con acqua
purificata ed addolcita fino a raggiungere una
gradazione di 51% vol.
Dopo la miscelazione si fa riposare la bevanda
ottenuta per 2-3 mesi durante i quali raggiunge
il massimo di morbidezza.
Artsakh Cornel - To get this rarely delicious drink
it is used wild, small but very aromatic cornel
berries. For example to get one liter of Artsakh
Cornel it is necessary to use 35 kg of cornel.
Cornel spirit is blended with purified and softened water to 51% by vol.
After blending ready-made drink “is resting” during 2-3 months. During this time the drink is
getting “calm” and becomes softer.

Wild Pear
Artsakh Wild Pear è prodotto dalle pere selvatiche mature di alta qualità, raccolte dagli alberi
di pero, che fin dai tempi antichi si sviluppano
dai semi portati dal vento e dagli uccelli, sulle
colline dell’Artsakh.
La frutta è selezionata a mano, delicatamente
schiacciata e disposta in una grande tinozza per
la fermentazione che dura alcune settimane.
Il tutto viene distillato due volte e mescolato con
acqua purificata ed addolcita fino a raggiungere
una gradazione di 51% vol.
Dopo la miscelazione subisce una lavorazione a
freddo e la purificazione tramite filtri e lasciata a
riposo in cisterne per alcuni mesi, dove raggiunge il forte gusto naturale della pera selvatica.
Artsakh Wild Pear is made of mature high quality wild pears that are gathered from pear trees
that grow in Artsakh valley from the seeds brought by the winds and birds.
The fruit is hand picked, gently crushed and placed in tanks for fermentation for a few weeks.
Then the fermented juice is distilled twice and
blended with purified and softened water to
reach 51% by vol.
After blending, Artsakh Wild Pear undergoes
cold-working process, gets filtered and left in cisterns for a few months for “rest” where it acquires its naturally strong taste of wild pear.

Vodka “Ohanyan” è una classica vodka di grano,
preparata con una speciale ricetta.
Una particolare combinazione di acqua e distillato ottenuto dalla fermentazione di specie di grano locali, rende questa bevanda particolarmente
morbida.
