Italian culture embraces the pre-meal drink to spark
their appetite - it’s a long held social tradition.
In keeping the ritual alive, in true Italian style, we have
created an unparalleled repertoir of drinks for you.
Cocktails
The Bellini
The famous Harry’s Bar located in Venice set the standard for the Bellini back in the
1930’s. It was named after the 15th Century Venetian painter Giovanni Bellini and
we think it’s still is one of the best cocktails around. We’ve stayed true to the original
recipe - made with Prosecco instead of Champagne and white peach puree.

Our favourite white
Gavi del Comune di Gavi ‘Nuovo Quadro’
Top quality, complex and enchanting. This husband and wife team Claudio Manera
and Lella operate one of the most progressive wine co-operatives in Northern Italy.
This Gavi is a great wine to kick off any meal.
Producer: Azienda Agricola La Battistina
Winemaker: Claudio Manera
Country of Origin: Italy
Region of Origin: Piemonte
Tasting Notes: An enticing nose of white peach, pear and acacia blossoms with hints
of fresh lime and gooseberry. Fresh and light zesty citrus notes and crisp acidity lift a
textured, full-flavoured palate.
We suggest: Drink as an aperitif. Or delicious paired with calamari fritti, spiedini di
pesce and merluzzo piccante.
Our favourite red
Villa la Pagliaia, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG
This wine has great potential - it’s elegant and full of character just like the
winemaker. Inquisitive and creative Leonardo Bellaccini nurishes the soul of all his
wines. His interests range from winemaking to fine food - he is even a member of the
prestigious Aaccademia della Cucina Italiana.
Producer: Villa la Pagliaia
Winemaker: Leonardo Bellaccini
Country of Origin: Italy
Region of Origin: Toscana
Tasting Notes: Brambly, bitter cherry fruit, cedary, spicy back notes, succulent acidity
and well merged tannins. This Riserva has a grippy, spicy character with flavours of
stewed plum fruit, savoury leather and a hint of chocolate. Rich and satisfying.
We suggest: Drink with Nodino di vitello, tagliatelle alla Bolognese e risotto con funghi.
All wine vintages are subject to availability.

We’re passionate about Italy and have created an all Italian
wine list full of discovery and popular wine styles, researched
and tasted by our own wine experts.
Deeply rooted in Italian favourites and categorised by region to
complement our seasonal menu, it encompasses handcrafted
wines from producers in the north, where a cooler climate is
perfect for Sauvignon Blanc and Gavi de Gavi.
The warmer central and southern regions showcase Chianti
and Brunello. We endeavour to provide not only a broad,
eclectic list but wonderful wines for every taste.
It is our pleasure to guide you through your wine and food
experience in any way we can.
All wine vintages are subject to availability.

Montresor family
Lucky us to know the Montresor family personally. We’ve met Giorgio and Edoardo
Montresor, the charming father and son duo that represent 3rd and 4th generations
of this famed wine making heritage on numerous occasions. Their genuine passion
for wine paired with their rich and fascinating personal history confirms a commitment to tradition and respect for the art of winemaking.
Producing some of the finest quality wines in Italy, their family roots may have
originated in France, but politics during the 16th Century had them pack up and
head for the hills of northern Italy. It was here that they acquired the land to begin
their journey into Italian viniculture and have been producing wine ever since. And
we are glad for that!
Food friendly, easy drinking and great value - here are some of our favourites.
Rose Royal Spumante
We’re always looking for wines with personality and this vivacious sparkling ticks
all the boxes. Great value for money, fun, fresh and fruity the secret is out on this
pink spumante. A fantastic aperitvio but stands up equally well to primi and secondi. There is always an excuse to drink bubbles.
Lugana
If you were describing this wine as a friend the words incredibly stylish and outstanding personality may come to mind.
Subtle and restrained with white peach and pear aromas, a broad mouth-feel and
beautifully balanced. Drink with starters and nearly all fish dishes.
Valpolicella Classico Ripasso Capitel della Crosara
Rustic meets rich with this oak aged Valpolicella that showcases a mix of vigour,
earthiness and charm. This wine is made by the Ripasso (literally means repassed)
method which involves adding the unpressed skins from the dried grapes used to
make an Amarone wine. A real generous wine, drink with pollo funghi, spaghetti
con polpettine or bistecca di girello.
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, La Colombaia
Hand harvested grapes produce this powerful Amarone. Full bodied and rich
flavours show after ageing this wine in Slavonian oak casks and small barrels for 2
years. As Giorgio Montresor might say, ‘it’s music in a bottle’. Drink with tagliata di
manzo, anatra arrosto or formaggi.
