SYNOPSIS
A suburb, two lovers, an enigma.
DIRECTOR’S NOTES
I worked a lot, together with my Director Of Photography Carlo Miggiano, on the storybord
and we did extensive research to find the right location before starting to shoot. Both of us
wanted to use a minimal style, mainly made of static shots that could enphasize the
spaces and the buildings, which are important characters in the story. I immediately
thought about Francesco Mastrorilli as the lead male character while writing the script. On
the other hand Giulia Telli has been chosen only after 50 auditions for the lead female
role. Stefano Fregni, appearing in a cameo, is instead a longtime friend since the days
of our film school in Rome, and we've been working together since then on many projects.
