Based in London, Zoe Whishaw is an expert in the visual language of stills photography within
commercial contexts. She provides creative & commercial direction, strategic advice & mentoring
services for photographers, photo agencies & businesses.
As an experienced Editor and Art Director she has spent many years analysing, developing and
critiquing ideas and photography intended for commercial use across a broad spectrum of subject areas.
Zoe developed and contributed to the success of leading media company, Getty Images, working for 17
years in senior creative and strategic positions, latterly as European Director of Photography. Since
then she has been Creative Director at Image Source and Creative and Content Director at Gallery
Stock. She devises workshops and seminars and speaks widely at conferences.
As a mentor Zoe provides photographers at all stages in their career with guidance, coaching, support
and strategies to leverage their skills in the generation of original and inspiring content that helps focus
themselves and their work towards their intended audience. Working on a one-to-one she provides an
insightful and objective view on bodies of work with the aim of helping photographers reach the next
level in their career.
