Orme is a co-ed, college prep boarding school, now in its 85th year, located on a rustic 300-acre campus surrounded by a
26,000-acre working ranch that is just one hour north of Phoenix. It has an excellent ESL Department, a long history of
success with international students and the best equestrian program in the Western U.S.

Academic and Sport Facilities
Orme’s academic facilities include the Mosher Math and Humanities Center, Mosher Science and Math Center, Metal Arts
Shop, Glass Blowing Studio, Buck Hart Horsecollar Performing Arts Theater, Art Annex, Music Room, Language Building,
and the Old Adobe English classroom. The Philips Library is the center of Orme’s academic program. With expansive
windows to the beautiful desert view, students have access to 18,000 books onsite and many more through the library’s
network. Orme’s extensive equestrian facility features a full rodeo arena with stock chutes, English and Dressage arena, 25
private stalls in our Mare Motel, 15 grazing pastures, 2 round pens, and 26,000 acres of high desert riding trails. Orme’s
campus also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, paintball arena, tennis courts, gymnasium, and fitness center.
