Music and films. What connects these two worlds?
Thanks to the many synchs made for commercials
with some of my pieces and the experience acquired
studying the relationship between music and cinema,
I have had the opportunity to develop a different
aspect of composition, trying my hand at real
soundtracks for films, at the beginning with singles,
such as Follia d’Amore inserted in the soundtrack of
Manuale d’Amore 3 by Veronesi with Monica Bellucci
and Robert De Niro, and then complete soundtracks,
as in the motion picture Un Ragazzo d’Oro by Pupi
Avati with Sharon Stone and Riccardo Scamarcio, of
which I have followed all the musical development.
These are all facets of creativity and composition
which can adapt to different languages, related to
cinema and advertising, in synergy with images.
How would you describe yourself as an artist and as
a person?
I have defined myself as an ‘artisan of music’ since
the beginning, because of my approach which I
would like to keep in this world.
