The "Rosso di Toscana" is a combination of two classic Tuscan grapes, Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo. The fruit-forward
nature of the Ciliegiolo and the classic tomato and berry notes of the Sangiovese intertwine to create a ready-to-drink
wine that also has the potential to develop with age and become something new to the repeat consumer of this wine.
The versatility and depth of this wine has something for every consumer, whether it be the casual drinker or the
experienced connoisseur.

Intense, ruby-red color
Nose:
Fruit-forward with hints of berry and cherry
Tasting:
Lesser prominence of fruit replaced with notes of pepper, tomato, and
leather

Tuscany
Pitigliano, Italy
Varietal:
50% Sangiovese, 50% Ciliegiolo
Harvest Period:
Late September and Early October
Vinification:
Fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature and maceration
on the skins for about 10 days. Malolactic fermentation and
subsequent aging in steel tanks.
Ageing:
Four months in stainless steel tanks
Bottle Ageing:
Two months in bottle; bottled young to enhance the freshness and the
olfactory characteristics
Average Annual Production:
27,000 bottles
