Calipso, dolce Calipso...Innamoratissima di Ulisse, fece di tutto per trattenerlo nel suo
mare, nella sua isola fatta di grotte, ma Ulisse alla fine se ne andò, lasciandola sola...
Il mare di Calipso è quello anche di Galatea, il profondo incantato mediterraneo, quella
parte di mare compresa fra l'assolata Sicilia e le isole di Capri ed Ischia... quel mare
che bagna un tratto di costa calabra chiamata Costa Viola perché all'imbrunire tutto
si tinge di questo colore incredibile... qui Calipso affiora dall'acqua, si siede sulla sua
roccia preferita e scruta lontano l'orizzonte, finché il sole non si fonde nel mare,
perchè spera sempre di vedere la nave di Ulisse tornare...Calipso è l'emblema dell'amore romantico, infinito ed eterno... Bellissima, con la sua pelle chiara, adornata di
piccolissime perle di mare che le fluttuano fra i capelli le cingono la coda ed il corpo
sinuoso...con i tatuaggi,cosi femminili, che la rendono una creatura incantata quale
davvero è... Spesso i pescatori di quella zona dicono di vederla tuffarsi nel mare per
ritornare alla sua grotta, o camminare leggera sulla sabbia, dopo la metamorfosi che la
vede trasformata in donna completa...coperta solo di perle e di un leggere vestito
