Given the Declaration of Intent between the Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples and the Centro
Universitario Sportivo of Naples, given the UNISOB Lifelong Learning Center Statute, an Advanced level post-graduate
European course in Sport Management has been estalished: High education in sport companies and sport venues
management has been established for the Academic year 2015/2016.
Entry requirements to attend the course/Certificates issued
This course has been established according to the D.P.R. 162 del 10.3.82, art. 6, L. 341 of the 19.11.90, D.M. 509/99,
D.M. 270/2004 and can be attended by post-graduate students - possessing Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, (D.M.
509/99; 270/04) or four year degree (law 341/90),to whom the Certificate of advanced level post-graduate specialization
course will be released.
The course can be attended also by students possessing a high school certificate with a pertinent CV. In this case the
Certificate of retraining improvers course will be released, according to art. 6 Letter C , Law 341/90.
Foreign or Italian students possessing certificates/qualifications which will be considered equivalent by this course
Scientific Committee are also allowed to participate.
This course will last a whole year - Academic Year: 2015/2016.
Objectives of this Course:
The proposing Institutional Entities have decided to establish an Advanced level post-graduate European course in Sport
Management with the aim of filling the gap dealing with the lack of specific competences and skills in sport companies
and sport venues. This issue is mirrored also in the critical situation of the national sport facilities.
This course, in its European dimension, will give an interdisciplinary overview encompassing the financial managment,
marketing and communication planning, sectorial regulations as welll as National and International sport governance.
A specific attention will be given to foreign languages, by providing lesson plans and lectures both in English and German.
A common forward-looking vision brought together the two proposing Institutional Entities, who decided to establish a
completely new education platform which could be able to answer to the ever-growing needs of training professional
figures with high competences and skills in the above referred sector.
The prestigious infrastructures and facilities both at the Università Suor Orsola Benincasa with its Scuola Europea di Studi
Avanzati and the Centro Universitario Sportivo di Napoli - are undoubtedly an added value to the operative curriculum of
this course, whose main objectives are:

To train professional figure to acquire the necessary competences and skills in the field of nonprofessional and
professional sport management;

To develop and widespread a managerial culture among people working in sport companies and sport venues
-
To train qualified professional figures in sport management who could cover managerial positions and/or
provide consultancy at a European level.

To provide transversal competences and skills which could be an added value to the sport organizations and a
methodological frame work to the future managers in this field

To provide competences and skills in the new technologies applied to sport.

NEW TECHNOLOGIES APPLIED TO THE SPORT DOMAIN LAB
Students will attend lab lessons in New Technologies applied to the Sport Domain at the Scienza Nuova Research Centre Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa - an integrated lab with new technologies applied to Social Sciences made
up of 6 living labs and 2 operative units, working together to promote the integration between Hard Sciences and Social
Sciences.
The course will last 240 hours of lessons, integrated by labs and a minimum of 100 hours of stage. Each lesson will last
approximately 6 hours (from 8.30 to 2.30 p.m.) from Monday to Thursday for 2 weeks from February to June 2016.
Lessons and Labs will be mainly at Centro Universitario Sportivo di Napoli (via Campegna 267 Napoli), but some
lessons and labs will take place at Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa di Napoli (Corso Vittorio Emanuele 292
Napoli).
This is a mandatory attendance course. Attendance is compulsory in order to acquire the high level of competences and
skills required. Students who will reach 20% of absences on the total amount of hours envisaged by the course won't be
entitled to receive the final certificate of this course.
This course has a limited number of places available (maximum 35 places)
If the number of students enrolled would not reach 16, the Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa could not
activate it and the delivered subscription amount will be refunded. The Registration Form to this course has to be
applied by 18th January 2016 at the latest and it has to be filled in on line through the specific form available at this link.
The applicant should declare in the Registration Form his/her:
- name, surname, place and date of birth, citizenship, fiscal code;
- qualifications/degree, mark/s;
- e-mail address.
The on-line registration procedure will be correctly completed only when a PDF version of the form with an electronic
recording number will be released by the system.
The applicants' selection will be made according to the following evaluation criteria:
Degree marks (hundredths):
- Final mark less than 100/110 = 2
- Final mark 100/110 = 3
- Final mark between 101 and 103/110 = 4
- Final mark between 104 and 106/110 = 5
- Final mark between 107 and 108/110 = 6
- Final mark between 109 and 110/110 = 7
- Final mark 110/110 cum Laude = 8
High School final exam (sixtieths):
- Final mark less than 54 /60 = 2
- Final mark 54/60 = 3
- Final mark between 56 and 55/60 = 4
- Final mark 57/60 = 5
- Final mark 58/60 = 6
- Final mark 59/60 = 7
- Final mark 60/60 = 8
High School final exam (hundredths):
- Final mark less than 91/100 = 2

In case of ex equo the younger students will be enrolled to attend the course.
In case of withdrawal, the enrolment will be done according to the ranking list.
Whereas the number of applications will be more than 35, a specific Commission will be appointed by the Rector and a
ranking lists - based on the qualifications/degree marks obtained, according to the evaluation criteria explained above will be drawn up.
The ranking list will be available at the following site: www.unisob.na.it, without any further personal communications to
the applicants.
Within 7 days from the publishing of the ranking list, the applicants should pay in full the first fee instalment of 1.500 €.
In case of mendacious declaration in the registration form, according to art. 76 del DPR n. 445 del 28/1/2000, the
applicant will automatically be excluded.
The full fee to attend the course is 3.500,00 € and it should be paid in a single fee instalment or in 3 fee instalments at
any bank branch Banco di Napoli - San Paolo IMI in Italy, through the specific payment form available at the Academic
Registry - Segreteria studenti - at the Università Suor Orsola Benincasa (corso Vittorio Emanuele 292, Napoli), or at the
following site. www.unisob.na.it
If the applicant chooses to pay in 3 fee instalments, he/she has to pay them within the following deadlines:
- 1st fee instalment 1.500 € at the registration;
- 2nd fee instalment : 1.000 € by February 2016;
- 3rd fee instalment: 1.000 € by May 2016.
Any payment delay would result in the exclusion from the course .
For The most deserving participants some ex post scholarships will be awarded - because of some extra funding still to be
defined by the CUS Napoli upon the publication of this call- to cover part of the registration fee.
The evaluation criteria of highest incidence will be: the curriculum vitae et studiorum, the specific activity developed within
the lab lessons and the final test.
The maximum amount of grants will be determined in € 1,500 each, to be paid directly by the CUS Napoli according to the
resolutions passed by the Management and the Scientific Committee of the Course.
The resolution will be made public, with the reasons therefor, on the University Website and will have official value for the
parties involved.
The sums will be paid directly to the beneficiaries, who must provide their fiscal code and bank account, after having
successfully passed the final test.
At the end of the course all the students who have regularly followed the above mentionedprocedures in terms of
payments, frequency, etc. will take an exam on the topics of the course with reference to the internship served.
Students who will successfully pass the final exam will be given the Advanced level post-graduate European course in
Sport Management Certificate (for graduate students) and the Certificate of retraining improvers course (for students
possessing a high school certificate).
Personal data will be managed for the procedures connected to the ranking list, according to the dispositions L.
31.12.1996 n. 675 with.
