Mosses and lichens as biomonitors of terrestrial ecosystems. Sub-microscopic characterisation of airborne particulate
matter intercepted by biomonitors. Evaluation of intraspecific genetic diversity in bryophyte populations in relation to a
changing environment and anthropic pressure. Up-take, accumulation and effects of metals, metalloids and organics in
plants. Anatomy, histology and cytology of bryophytes. Antibiotic and allelopathic activity in plants.
