Oggetto: PROCEDURA PER IL TENSIONAMENTO CINGHIA SU UNITÀ GT DAIHATSU
Nella procedura qui sotto riportata è indicata la corretta tensione della cinghia per le unità GT
motorizzate Daihatsu (fino alla matricola 1111004GAWE) e descritto il procedimento per il corretto
tensionamento della cinghia.
Subject: BELT TIGHTENING PROCEDURE ON GT DAIHATSU UNITS
In the below procedure it is indicated the correct belt tension for GT Daihatsu (till the s/n
1111004GAWE ) and described the correct belt tightening process.

Rimuovere le carenature del cofano motore.
Remove the plastic covers of the engine
hood.

Accedere al vano motore, nella zona tra il
radiatore ed il motore.
Approach to the engine room, between
the radiator and the engine.

Verificare la tensione della cinghia, nel
punto di mezzeria del ramo tra la puleggia
della pompa e quella della ventola.
Check the tension of the belt, in the
center line point between the pump
pulley and the fan pulley.
TENSIONE CINGHIA:
BELT TENSION:
205 ± 5 Hz
[cinghia nuova – new belt]
175 ± 5 Hz
[cinghia rodata – run-in belt]
Deflessione 4mm al centro
applicando una forza di 4,5 kg
Deflection 4mm in the middle
applying a 4,5 kg force
[cinghia nuova – new belt]
Deflessione 4mm al centro
applicando una forza di 3,5 kg
Deflection 4mm in the middle

Nel caso la tensione della cinghia non fosse
corretta, allentare il controdado della vite
per la regolazione del tendicinghia.
In the case the belt tension is not correct,
unloose the lock nut of the bolt for the
belt-tightener adjustment.

Allentare le 3 viti del supporto ventola.
Unlock the 3 screws of the fan support.

Regolare la tensione della cinghia avvitando
o svitando la vite.
Adjust the belt tension by screwing or
unscrewing the bolt.

Avvitare e stringere il controdado della vite
per la regolazione.

Avvitare le 3 viti del supporto ventola.
Lock the 3 screws of the fan support.

Verificare la tensione della cinghia.
Se la tensione della cinghia non è corretta,
ripetere la procedura per il tensionamento.
Se è corretta, rimontare le carenature del
cofano motore.
Check the tension of the belt.
If the belt tension is not correct, repeat
the procedure for the tensioning.
If it is correct, reassemble the plastic
covers of the engine hood.
