le differenti anime del cibo
A cura dell'associazione ARCAM di MIRANO – Venezia – Italia
Il tema di questa Mail Art (o arte postale), si ricollega all'EXPO UNIVERSALE DI MILANO (evento
riguardante il cibo in tutte le sue declinazioni), che coinvolge tutto il nostro paese, l'Italia e anche
la nostra città, Mirano, ricca di storia e d'arte, dove nacque e lavorò l'intera famiglia di Giovanni
Battista Tiepolo.
S'invitano i partecipanti ad interpretare, attraverso le loro opere postali (cartoline), le
differenti anime del cibo il quale è, prima di tutto, nutrimento ma anche piacere, gusto, casa,
famiglia, è arte e cultura, pace, affetto, amore e guerra: per il cibo si lotta e si combatte;
Col cibo e per il cibo si lavora, spesso è sprecato e adulterato; può diventare un problema se se
ne abusa o se al contrario lo si rifiuta, in ogni caso il “Cibo è Vita”, per noi e per il Pianeta.
REGOLAMENTO
1. La partecipazione è libera, gratuita e aperta a tutti, senza limiti di età, sesso, nazionalità
o altra qualificazione.
2. Ogni artista può partecipare con un massimo di tre opere/cartoline con o senza busta.
3. Misure: massimo 21 x 29,97 cm (formato A4).
4. Tutte le tecniche sono consentite.
5. Ogni opera dovrà contenere l'annullo postale e francobollo filatelico (se possibile), data
e firma.
6. Termine massimo per l'invio il 31-12-2015, farà fede il timbro postale.
7. Inviare a: ARCAM, Via Paganini 2/b, 30035 Mirano-Venezia, Italia.
8. Tutte le opere saranno esposte in una mostra che si terrà nel mese di marzo 2016, sarà
nostra cura comunicare tempestivamente la data e il luogo dell'inaugurazione.
9. Le opere saranno pubblicate nel sito dell'ARCAM e sulla pagina facebook.
10. La pubblicazione di un catalogo è subordinata alla sponsorizzazione da parte di aziende
e/o privati, in tal caso una giuria selezionerà le opere da pubblicare.
11. Le opere non saranno restituite ma conservate a cura dell'ARCAM.

the different souls of the food
Organized by ARCAM MIRANO - Venice - Italy
The theme of this mail Art is connected with the UNIVERSAL EXPO IN MILAN, food related
event in all its form, wich involves our whole country, Italy, and also our city Mirano, where
was born and worked the entire family of Giovanni Battista Tiepolo.
Partipants are invited to interpret through their postal works (postcards), the different
souls of food which is, first of all, nourishment but also taste, home, family, art and culture,
peace, affection, love, war.
For food you fight and work, it is often wasted and/or adulterated, it can became a problem
if abused or refused, in any case "FOOD IS LIFE", for all of us........(and the planet?)
RULES
1. Participation is open and free. No limits whatsoever.
2. Each artist can enter a maximum of three works/postcards with or without
envelopes.
3. Maximum size: 21 x 29,7 cm (A4 sheet – 8.3 x 11.7 inches).
4. Any technique is allowed.
5. Each work shall be postmarked, dated and signed by the author. Philatelic
stamps are preferred, but not mandatory.
6. Deadline: december 31th, 2015, as indicated by the postmark date.
7. Send to: ARCAM, Via Paganini 2/b, 30035 Mirano-Venezia, Italia.
8. All works will be presented in an exhibition to be held in Marzo 2016.
Participants will be informed about the opening date and venue of the
inauguration of the exhibition.
9. Publication of a Catalogue is conditional on sponsor support. A team of
judges will select works for inclusion in the catalogue.
10. Works shall be published in the ARCAM web site and on ARCAM Facebook
page.
11. Works shall not be returned; ARCAM will retain them.
