Il progetto di potenziamento in oggetto è partita nel secondo quadrimestre dell' a.s 2009/10, gli
alunni hanno deciso insieme ai compagni gemellati della S.P di Via Rossini di Manzano, di fare
un'intervista ad un personaggio storico che avevano studiato nell'anno in corso.
Facendo una carrellata dei vari protagonisti delle dinastie, gli alunni hanno scelto il personaggio di
Tutankhamon, poiché si sono molto appassionati alla figura di questo re, la cui storia è legata anche
alla leggenda sulle sue maledizioni.
E' stata usata la modalità dell'intervista, dopo una ricerca approfondita sui libri di testo e Internet.
Alcune delle domande poste dall'intervistatore all'intervistato, sono conosciute dagli alunni, poiché
riguardano le domande di uso quotidiano che a scuola vengono poste e studiate nelle varie unità.
Alla fine del progetto, gli alunni sono rimasti entusiasti per l'esperienza vissuta, si sono divertiti
nell'affrontare questa impossibile intervista con un personaggio storico e molto interessati per tutta
la serie di informazioni, tratte da varie fonti che ha consentito loro un approfondimento della
materia studiata con l'insegnante di Storia.

Interview between a Journalist and King Tutankhamun
J: Hello, sir what's your name?
K: My name is very long, so my friends call me King Tut.
J: How are you?
K: I'm fine thanks.
J: Who are you?
K: I'm the 12th King of a superpower Empire.
J: Where were you born?
K: I was born on the African continent.
J: When were you born?
K: I was born in 1341 B.C.
J: What's your father's called?
K: My father's name is Akhenaton.
J: What's your favourite colour?
K: My favourite colour is gold, of course!
J:What's your favourite shape?
K: Either a pyramid or a diamond!
J: What's your favourite pet?
K: I like jackal, but I love cats!
J: Where do you live?
K: I live in Thebes/Luxor.
J:Do you live in a house or in a flat?
K: I live in a huge temple.
J: What's the weather like in your city?
K: It' s very hot in summer and warm in winter. It doesn't rain very much.
J:Are you married, sir...sorry King Tut?
K: Yes, I have “a younger Lady” as a wife.
J: How old were you when you died?
K: I was unlucky, I was very young....only nineteen....
J: Have you got a nickname?
K: People call me King Boy, but you can't find me on Facebook.
J: What happened to your hair?
K: I had it cut, but I look very fashionable....don't you think?
J:Why are you so important?
K: Because I'm very rich and I've got a rich tomb too. The robbers never found me!
J: When was your tomb discovered?
K: It was discovered in 1922 by an English archaelogist Howard Carter.
J: Where is your tomb?
K: My tomb is in the Valley of the Kings
J: Why do people say you hurl curses?
K: Because on my tomb is written the warning:”Whoever enters this sacred tomb shall swiftly be
visited by the wings of death.”
J:Where are your thousand rich artefacts and the golden mask which covered your mummy now?
K: In the Egyptian museum in Cairo, where my two innermost sarcophagi are displayed. So if you
visit Egypt you can see me and enjoy the pyramids, museums and riding a camel too....
J: Thanks a lot Pharaoh Tutankhamun and please don't hurl any Tutankhamun's curses at us!
