Spiegate agli allievi che per organizzare una rappresentazione teatrale occorre compilare uno storyboard, ossia assegnare le parti agli attori, definire le azioni dei personaggi sulla scena, progettare e costruire le scenografie, preparare i costumi e scegliere le musiche. Insieme alla classe prendete in esame ogni atto, separatamente, e definite come si muovono i personaggi (seconda colonna dello storyboard), dove si svolge la scena, quale scenografia e oggetti servono (terza colonna; props: arredi scenici) e quali musiche o canzoni utilizzare (quarta colonna). Gli alunni possono decidere di modificare le battute sul copione o di aggiungerne di nuove; le modifiche dovranno essere però concordate con tutta la classe e poi riportate sul copione individuale o su quello murale. • Nello storyboard vengono forniti suggerimenti per il primo atto della storia mentre, per gli altri atti, saranno gli alunni a dover completare ogni colonna con i necessari dettagli. Lo storyboard può essere completato in inglese o in italiano. • Scenografie e costumi. Assegnate le parti a ciascun alunno e decidete quali scenografie e costumi di scena sono necessari. Potete far disegnare, ad ogni bambino, bozzetti per i vestiti di Cenerentola e del Principe tra i quali verranno poi scelti, a votazione, i modelli finali. Potete seguire la stessa procedura per selezionare bozzetti per i costumi degli altri personaggi della storia e per le scenografie della casa di Cenerentola e del palazzo del Principe. Non vi resta altro che preparare i costumi e le scenografie (avvaletevi della collaborazione dei colleghi, di genitori, di nonni, etc.)! Il testo della storia di Cinderella è presentato sotto forma di storyboard in modo da consentire agli alunni di partecipare attivamente a tutte le fasi di preparazione della drammatizzazione. Il testo consente il coinvolgimento dell’intera classe in quanto, a parte i ruoli principali, tutti gli alunni possono essere coinvolti nella scena del ballo al castello o nella gestione delle scenografie e delle musiche. L’attività di drammatizzazione consente di riciclare lessico e strutture acquisite dagli alunni durante i cinque anni del corso, di sviluppare tutte e quattro le abilità di base (listening, speaking, writing, reading), di cooperare per il raggiungimento di uno scopo comune e la soluzione di problemi e di migliorare le competenze comunicative ed espressive. Vi consigliamo di procedere nel seguente modo: • Distribuite il copione della storia agli alunni oppure fotocopiatelo ingrandito e incollate ogni atto separatamente su un grande foglio da appendere alla parete. • Leggete il copione con gli alunni; quindi formate gruppi di quattro/cinque bambini che dovranno rileggere il copione e confrontarsi su quello che hanno capito, ricercando il significato di parole nuove sul dizionario. • Distribuite la scheda 1 che consente di approfondire lessico e strutture presenti nella storia. Spiegate agli alunni che devono scrivere se le frasi sono vere o false e collegare le parole inglesi al loro significato in italiano. Scegliete musiche da inserire come sottofondo o come stacco tra una scena e l’altra.
