Optimale Fahrbarkeit ?
Ein wichtiger Faktor für einen gut laufenden Motor ist das Luft-Kraftstoff
Verhältnis (AFR), das messbare Verhältnis der Luft zum Kraftstoff, das während
der Verbrennung vorhanden ist. Ein schlecht laufender Motor zeichnet sich z.B.
durch ein zu mageres Verhältnis aus, welches oft lästiges Konstantfahrruckeln,
verzögerte Gasannahme oder Leistungslöcher zur Folge hat.
Ein zu angereichertes Verhältnis führt neben schlechter Leistung u.a. zu hohem
Kraftstoffverbrauch. Oftmals sind schlechte Grundabstimmungen ab Werk,
Änderungen am Abgassystem oder Ansaugsystem dafür verantwortlich.
Die bisher am häufigsten angewandten Methoden, um darauf Einfluss zu
nehmen, sind der aufwendige und kompromissbehaftete Einbau von
Zwischenschaltmodulen oder der Tausch des serienmäßigen Motorsteuergeräts
(ECU) gegen kostspielige und meist nicht einstellbare Racing-Einheiten.

Der RexXer, das Multieinspritztalent ermöglicht es erstmals, dass serienmäßige
Mapping Ihrer ECU in nur 3 Schritten gegen ein anderes auszutauschen und
dies ohne ein am Motorrad verbleibendes Modul verbauen zu müssen.
Dank des RexXers, dem Programmiergerät für Ihre Serien-ECU, kann mittels
kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Tuning-Mappings verschiedener Anpassungsstufen, im Handumdrehen Ihr serienmäßiges Setup gegen eine verbesserte
Abstimmung ausgetauscht werden.

Maximale Leistung?
Gleich welche Modifikationen Sie vorgenommen haben, ob nur der Anbau einer
Leistungssteigernden Auspuffanlage, eines Sportluftfilters, die Verwendung von
optimierten Nockenwellen oder Kolben mit höherer Verdichtung etc. - um die
Mehrleistung voll auszuschöpfen zu können, muss das Motormanagement auf
die entsprechenden Veränderungen angepasst werden! Das erfolgt durch die
Verwendung eines Tuning-Mappings. Dieser speziell auf das jeweilige Modell
und Ausstattung abgestimmte Datensatz steuert u.a. die Einspritzung,
die Vorzündung und viele weitere, wichtige Kennfelder der ECU.
Nachstehendes Leistungsdiagramm verdeutlicht den Unterschied zwischen
einem Original-Mapping (Eingangsmessung = blaue Kurve) und einem auf die
Veränderungen angepassten Tuning-Mapping (Ausgangsmessung = rote Kurve).

Das Mapping können Sie mittels USB-Kabel vom PC auf Ihren RexXer
übertragen. Daraufhin verbinden Sie das Gerät mit der Maschine und
flashen diese spielend leicht um. Sie können ebenso ein Mapping aus
Ihrem eigenen Bestand verwenden und es mittels RexXer aufspielen.
Ausserdem ist es möglich, Mappings aus anderen ECU's auszulesen
und zu archivieren. Bei Kauf des RexXer „Professional Credit“ sind 30
Credits (Operationen)* enthalten. Die „Light-Version“ verfügt über 10
Credits! Nachdem dieses Kontingent aufgebraucht wurde,
können Nachlade-Pakete von 10, 20 bzw. 30 Operationen ganz
unkompliziert nachgekauft und nachgeladen werden.
* Beim Auslesen des Original-Mappings aus der ECU wird jeweils 1 Credit abgezogen, danach hat der
RexXer einen Zugriff und die verwendete ECU kann beliebig oft mit einem Tuning-Mapping geflasht
werden, ohne einen weiteren Credit zu beanspruchen. Über die manuelle Backup-Funktion kann auf
jede bereits bearbeitete ECU auch in Zukunft nochmals zugegriffen werden, ohne Beanspruchung der

Der RexXer kann nicht nur als Werkzeug zum Austauschen der
Mappings verwendet werden, sondern verfügt außerdem über einige
nützliche Wartungsfunktionen (für BMW Motorräder in Arbeit):
- Auslesen und Zurücksetzen der Fehlercodes
- Serviceanzeige zurücksetzen
- Gemisch im unteren Drehzahlbereich kann manuell abgemagert
bzw. angereichert werden
- TPS / Drosselklappenpotentiometer kann zurückgesetzt werden**

Software „ECM Titanium Map-Editor“
Mit dieser optional erhältlichen Software kann der professionelle Anwender
individuelle Mappings erstellen. Hierbei kann auf alle Koordinaten des
Mappings Einfluss genommen werden. Es können damit wichtige Kennfelder
wie Einspritzung, Vorzündung, Lambda-Korrektur, Display-Anzeigen etc.
verändert werden.
Das modifizierte Mapping kann dann mit dem RexXer auf die vorhandene
ECU übertragen werden.

Optimum driveability?
An important factor for a good running engine is the air-fuel Ratio (AFR),
the measurable ratio of air to fuel, which is present during combustion.
If the AFR is not optimised the bike can exhibit certain problems e.g. by
an excessively lean ratio, which often causes annoying constant velocity
shocks, delayed throttle response and performance holes in the power
curve. A too enriched ratio, besides poor performance leads to high fuel
consumption. The main reasons for these issues are poor set-up at the
factory, changes tothe intake or exhaust system. Currently the most
common method for adjusting the fuelling map of a bike is the installation
of an auxiliary module which is complex and full of compromises or the
replacement of the standard engine control unit (ECU), which is costly
and often not adjustable racing units. With the RexXer, these measures
are a thing of the past! The RexXer allows first to replace the standard
tuning map of your ECU against another in only 3 easy steps without a
residual auxiliary module. Thanks to the RexXer, the programmer for your
series ECU, your standard setup can be changed to a moderate
improvement by using free tuning maps of different matching states.

Maximum power?
Whatever modifications you have made, if only the attachement of a
performance-enhancing exhaust system, a sports air filter, the use of
optimizedcamshaft or pistons with higher compression etc – to exploit the
gain in power fully, the engine management has to be adjusted with the
appropriate changes! This is accomplished by using a tuning map.
This is a specific dataset which is modified to the model and the features
controls e.g. the injection, spark advance and many more important maps
of the ECU. Below is a performance graph that illustrates the difference
between an original map (input measurement = blue curve) and a tuning
map to the adjusted changes (Output measurement = red curve).
Here it becomes clear what potential would be lost without adjusting
the engine management.

The tuning map can be transfered via USB cable from your PC to your
RexXer. After that you connect the device with your bike and reprogram it
very easily. You can also use a map from your own stock and use it with
the RexXer. Another possibility is to read out tuning maps from other
ECU's and to archive on the harddrive for future use. When the RexXer
„Professional Credit“ is purchased it includes 30 Credits (operations)*
contained for free. The „light-version“ comes with 10 Credits!
After you have exhausted these, you can buy packages of 10, 20 or 30
operations very easily.

mappings. In this case, all coordinates of the tuning maps can be influenced.
It can therefore change important maps such as injection, ignition advance,
lambda correction, display ads, etc.
After this, you can transfer the performance Map with RexXer to your stock ECU.

Guidabilità ottimale?
Un fattore importante per il buon rendimento del motore è il rapporto
aria-carburante (AFR), il rapporto misurabile di aria rispetto al carburante
che presente durante la combustione. Un motore che non gira bene ha per
esempio un rapporto troppo magro che spesso causa zoppicamenti durante
la guida lenta in città, una risposta ritardata dell’acceleratore o buchi di
alimentazione. Un rapporto troppo arricchito porta oltre a un peggioramento
delle prestazioni anche a un eccessivo consumo di carburante. Spesso una
regolazione dei parametri base dalla casa madre non sono adatti a
cambiamenti del sistema di scarico. I metodi fino ad ora più frequentemente
utilizzati per influenzare questi parametri sono l'installazione molto costosa
di moduli aggiuntivi o la sostituzione della centralina di serie (ECU) con
centraline Racing costose e spesso non regolabili. Con il RexXer questi
provvedimenti sono superflui! Il RexXer consente per la prima volta di
sostituire la mappatura originale della vostra centralina in soli 3 passi,
e questo senza la necessità di istallare un modulo aggiuntivo sulla moto.
Grazie al RexXer, lo strumento di comunicazione per il controllo della
centralina, tramite le mappe tuning messe a disposizione gratuitamente è
possibile adattare a livelli diversi in poco tempo la configurazione originale

Potenza massima?
Qualunque siano le modifiche che sono state effettuate come per esempio
solo il montaggio di un sistema di scarico più performante, un filtro aria
sportivo, l’utilizzo di albero a camme ottimizzate o pistoni con una maggiore
compressione, ecc - per sfruttare al massimo la potenza, è necessario
adattare anche le informazioni contenute nella centralina! Questo si ottiene
usando un mappa ottimizzata. Questo file modificato, secondo il modello e
all’allestimento della moto, controlla l’iniezione, l’anticipo e molte altre
mappe importanti della centralina. La curva di potenza che segue mostra
la differenza tra una mappatura originale (Prima misurazione = curva blu)
e una modifica con una mappa ottimizzata (Seconda misurazione = curva
rossa). Qui si vede chiaramente il potenziale che andrebbe perso senza
gli adeguamenti della mappatura.

Con questo software opzionale, gli utenti professionali possono creazione
mappature individuali. Possono essere influenzate tutte le coordinate della
mappa. Si possono modificare importanti mappe come per esempio
l'iniezione, l’anticipo, la lambda, scritta nel cruscotto, ecc.
La mappa modificata può essere trasferita tramite il RexXer sulla
centralina.
