Fondi musicali. Nel basamento dell’ex convento di Santa Brigida debutta il jazz.
Count Basie: pochi tavoli, grossi nomi, ottima acustica e tante etichette. Sotto al
soffitto a volte e le pareti in pietra e mattoni a vista si esibiscono artisti e gruppi. In
pochi mesi è già un luogo cult dove hanno
suonato, tra gli altri: John Taylor, Philip Petrucciani, Paul Jeffrey. Ogni mese due big
band, un concerto con cantante, un evento internazionale e un seminario pratico
teorico sull’approccio all’improvisazione col
pianista Andrea Pozza.

Music in the basement. The Count Basie Jazz
Club is located in the basement of the ex-Convent of Santa Brigida: a few tables, famous
musicians, very good acoustics and many different sounds. Artists and bands play under
vaulted ceilings and stone and brick walls. In a
few months, it has already become a cult
place, where some of these artists have played:
John Taylor, Philip Petrucciani, Paul Jeffrey.
Every month: two big bands, a concert with a
singer, an international event and a practicaltheoretical seminary about the approach to
improvisation with pianist Andrea Pozza.

Risveglio nel 1870 era la casa dove l’Ammiraglio Ardoino si riposava dai suoi lunghi viaggi per trasportare l’olio in Ucraina e tornare carico di quel grano che
vendeva al pastificio Agnesi. Oggi quelle
stesse camere ospitano i turisti che cercano silenzio e tranquillità guardando il
Mediterraneo. Sono 9 miniappartamenti
intorno alla piscina a sfioro. La novità è
la suite sacred spirit, romantica e studiata per il relax totale.

Molino dei Giusi. Minidependance con un
solo appartamento bordo piscina, sulle

Seaside or hills? In the facilities of the Consorzio
Mete di Liguria, run by an entirely female staff,
you can sleep among the olive groves. In 1870,
this farm holiday hotel Il Risveglio was the house
where Admiral Ardoino would rest after his long
trips, carrying olive oil to the Ukraine and coming back loaded with wheat that he would sell
to the Agnesi pasta factory. Nowadays, tourists
who need a silent and peaceful place on the
Mediterranean sea are hosted in those rooms.
There are nine small apartments around the
edge of the swimming pool. The sacred spirit
suite is the novelty, romantic and totally relaxing. At the Tenuta Molino dei Giusi you can
also find the same bucolic atmosphere. A mini-structure that depends on the larger one,
with only one apartment near the pool, located on the hills of Imperia. Seeing is believing.

Molino dei Giusi e il Risveglio
Gioventù creativa. L’artista Richy Colombo trasforma gli scogli, i tralci di vite, il
profilo delle Cinque Terre e le sue spiagge
in gioielli, incidendo e modellando in oro o
in argento le località più note del territorio,
dalle calette alle rocce naturali. Nella collezione Palaedo, come bandiera di Monterosso figura il caratteristico scoglio del
Malpasso, sulla spiaggia di Fegina; Vernazza è rappresentata dalla scogliera Ventegà
a ridosso del Belforte; Punta Mesco è raffigurata nei due “denti” sovrapposti e la Via
dell’Amore è concepita come percorso di
coppia e reca sulla facciata un volto femminile e sul retro un volto maschile.

Design e vino. Era uno dei ristoranti più
conosciuti di Savona quest’anno insignito
da una stella Michelin, oggi è il locale più
trendy della Riviera: albergo di design, ristorante gourmand e cantina teatro, dove
il cibo e il vino interagiscono con l’ambiente. È uno spazio futuribile in cui i clienti stando comodamente seduti ai tavoli
nella sala cromodinner (con luci in movimento d’intensità e colore che valorizzano
i piatti cambiandone l’aspetto cromatico)
possono ammirare pareti decorate da importanti bottiglie di vino e di champagne
francese, o assaggiare le delizie del cuoco
nella sala Tappeti Volanti dove si sperimenta la sensazione di degustare i sapori
sospesi tra due cieli.

Creative youth. The artist Richy Colombo
transforms rocks, vines, the Cinque Terre's
profile and its beaches into jewels, carving
and molding in gold or silver the best known
places of the territory, from the little coves to
the natural rocks. In the Palaedo collection,
Monterosso is represented by the characteristic rock of Malpasso, that stands on the Fegina beach; Vernazza by the cliff of Ventegà,
close to the Belforte bastion; Punta Mesco is
portrayed in its two “teeth” one on the top of
the other, and the Via dell'Amore, created as
a route for couples, is represented by a twosided medallion, one side with face of a lady,
the other with that of the man.

Design and wine. It was one of the bestknown restaurants in Savona, and this year
it received a Michelin star. Now it is the most
trendy club of the Riviera: a design hotel, a
gourmet restaurant, with a theatre in the
cellar, where food and wine interact with the
environment. An area where customers can
comfortably sit down at a table in the cromo-dinner room (with lights whose intensity and colour change, setting off the colors
of the courses), admire the walls decorated
with important bottles of wine and French
champagne or try the chef's delights in the
Magic Carpet (Tappeto Volante) room, where
they can taste flavors that make you feel
“suspended between two skies.”
