Winemaking at Castiglion del Bosco is managed by Cecilia Leoneschi who
has been at the winery since 2003. She is supported in the vineyard by
agronomist Ruggero Mazzilli and in the cellar by oenologist Giuseppe
(Beppe) Caviola – both from Piedmont.
Castiglion del Bosco is a fine wine estate as well
as an elegant country resort with a rich past.
In the Val d’Orcia near Siena, the property is a
UNESCO World Heritage site enshrined for its
Renaissance-parceled landscape, housing 23
suites in buildings retrofitted into an original
medieval village. Another 10 rustic stone farmhouses- turned-villas are strewn around hillsides,

Tom Weiskopf and a cooking school.
