La prima collezione in edizione limitata firmata Meridiani ha come soggetto il letto e come nome Tuyo: tuo.
La vocazione è chiara, è un elogio alla personalità. In generale, la personalità di una progettualità complessiva,
globale ma anche e soprattutto elogio della personalità che si esprime in ogni particolare.
Anche il più piccolo elemento, anche quello più nascosto è sottoposto a cura appassionata, non è mai un dettaglio,
non è mai una piccolezza. Chi sceglie Tuyo è come se avesse guidato di persona prima le mani del designer e poi
quelle degli artigiani. Dettando le dimensioni, i materiali, accarezzando e scegliendo un tessuto. Con Tuyo “su misura”
non è più solo un modo di dire ma anche di fare. Quindi di essere, ancora prima che di avere.
Meridiani’s first limited collection revolves around the bed and is called Tuyo: yours.
The calling is clear: Tuyo is a tribute to character. The character of the general design but also and especially
the character revealed in each single detail. Even the tiniest or most secreted element is handled with passionate care:
nothing is “just” a detail or something to look over. Choosing Tuyo is like guiding the hands of the designer
and the artisan to dictate size and materials; to be with them when feeling and picking a texture.
With Tuyo “tailor-made” is more than a saying: it’s a way to make things. A way to be and then a way to have.

Il Capitonné è l’essenza, il punto più alto della finitura. Deriva dal francese capitonner, verbo che significa “imbottire”.
Le strutture di legno che costituiscono l’ossatura del mobile vengono forate secondo il disegno prestabilito.
Su di esse vengono applicate le imbottiture. Poi è la volta dei tessuti o delle pelli.
Infine, i bottoni, ricoperti uno ad uno. E uno ad uno applicati: la mano dell’artigiano fa passare i quattro fili
di ogni bottone nei fori perfettamente corrispondenti. L’altra mano li fissa e poi li cuce, fino a quando ogni bottone,
ogni piega hanno trovato la loro posizione.
Ecco, per fare il Capitonné ci vuole abilità ed esperienza. E ci vuole anche molta pazienza. Una qualità rara, oggi.
Capitonné is the essence and the climax of decoration. The word comes from the French capitonner, meaning to pad.
The wooden frame that makes the skeleton of the piece of furniture is pierced with holes according to the chosen design.
Padding is applied on the holes then it’s the turn of woven or leather. Next come the buttons, lined and sewn one by one:
artisans use four strings per button and insert them in the perfectly matching holes. Then they secure them and sew them
until each button and curve found their position. Capitonné requires ability and experience.
And patience, becoming rarer and rarer nowadays.

Presenta molti problemi di lavorazione, il cuoio. Per esempio, il taglio a mano è spesso obbligato:
quindi c’è bisogno di più attenzione e di più tempo e più esperienza. Il risultato finale è speciale.
Thanks to its inner beauty, saddle leather underlines the singularity and craftsmanship behind Tuyo.
Leather is not handled easily and cut by hand is often mandatory.
This means more attention to the detail, more time and experience. The final result is special.

Come il rombo, Diamond racchiude l’eleganza e la mostra in tutta la sua perfezione. Una decorazione così preziosa
da risultare perfetta sia con una testiera semplice o complicata. Quando Diamond è quello di Tuyo è anche unico,
perché può essere realizzato su dimensioni praticamente infinite e, quando vive in una testiera, può essere appeso
al muro come un quadro. E come un quadro guardato: ammirato o criticato.
Like the rhombus, Diamond captures and reveals elegance in all its perfect facets. Such a refined decoration can fit
a simple or rich headboard easily. When Diamond meets Tuyo the result is unique since its potential application
to any kind of size. When inserted in a headboard, Diamond can be hanged on a wall just like a picture,
to be admired and criticized as a true piece of art.

Le basi di Tuyo sono un inno all’armonia. In sintonia con la testiera, oppure come in contrasto, ma sempre in armonia.
È una questione di stile e di gusto e di scelte. Saper unire un capitonné con una base essenziale o mischiare due stili
in un testa-coda unico e originale. Rivestita o semplice, la base è un tutt’uno con il letto, lo esalta, lo valorizza,
è di base, la sua base. Le basi di Tuyo hanno tutto: sono a rete, a doghe, ortopediche.
E poi sollevate o non sollevate da terra, Spring o Double Spring.
Tuyo’s bases are a praise to harmony. They can be matching or clashing with the headboard, but they are always harmonizing.
It’s a matter of style and taste and choice. Blend the capitonné with a basic frame or mix two styles in a unique and original
combination. Lined or simple, the base is one thing with the bed; it emphasizes it, it appraises it and it supports it. Tuyo foresees
different options: staves and orthopedic boards; raised bases or bases or secured to the floor, Spring or Double Spring frames.

Stripe is the straight finishing that draws contours and follows their accuracy. Elegant, disciplined, everything is perfectly

Le testiere Tuyo accolgono il letto, lo presentano, lo abbracciano, lo circondano. Lo mostrano in tutta la sua eleganza.
