MINO POWER !!!!
Ciao a tut !!
Giro di boa per quanto riguarda il mondiale enduro, con la 7a e 8a giornata di gara a Heinola, Finlandia.
Gara ovviamente molto impegnatva con le speciali tpiche del luogo, radici e sassoni a farla da padrone

Siamo arrivat qui consapevoli che non sarebbe stato molto facile ed in efet così è stato. Per fortuna il
tempo ci ha un po graziato nel weekend, dopo un giovedi e venerdi da "paura" !
Gara MOSTRUOSA del Minotauro Phillips che, con 2 primi secchi nella E2, si conquista un botno di 31
punt sul più direto inseguitore !! Nessuno si immaginava questo ad inizio anno !
Sabato ha amministrato un po' la situazione, si è pensato un po' alla classifca e agli avversari, senza spinge re troppo all'ultmo giro. Domenica "HA USCITO L'ANIMALO " - e dopo una guerra furibonda con Remes
( che giocava in casa ----) è riuscito anche a fare il primo nell'assoluta !! E in Finlandia NON è semplice bat tere uno come Remes ------ e quindi anche nella ENDURO GP i due si trovano esatamente a pari punt, con
un discreto gap sui diret rivali. In Svezia saranno fuoco e famme !!
Ancora sfgato Santolino che, dopo un otmo inizio, si è schiantato contro un sassone scandinavo, che ha
demolito sia lui che la moto !!! Un trauma forte al collo e alla spalla; ha provato domenica, ma sembrava
un "impalato" ----- meglio fermarsi e riprovare in Svezia ! Veramente un anno NO per lui - ma passerà - lui
ha la pellaccia dura !
I due "allievi" Olsen e Savo hanno fato la loro gara di apprendimento nella Junior con qualche punto strap pato in classifca ! Di sicuro potranno fare di meglio in Svezia !
Oggi si lavora ad Heinola. Domani passaggio obbligato ad Hamelinna a rendere "omaggio" a KING Mika
Ahola e poi via verso la Svezia dove ci aspetano i VIKINGHI !

Hello everybody !!
Turning point regarding the WEC - with 7th and 8th day of competton in Heinola, Finland.
As expected very challenging race with the special characteristc of the place, huge stones and roots to
create many difcultes to pilots (atached hereto please fnd picture of Santolino exhaust pipe ------)
Before coming here, we were aware that it would have not been so easy jpb and so it was. Fortunately
weather has graced us a bit over the weekend, afer a “scary” Thursday and Friday!
MONSTROUS race of our Phillips Minotaur that, with two E2 1 st place, now leeds E2 with a vantadge of 31
points over nearest compettor !! Nobody imagined such situaton at the beginning of this year!
Saturday Phillips controlled a litle “the situaton”, thinking of his ranking positon and opponents, not then
pushing too hard on the last lap. Sunday "HE RELEASED THE ANIMAL INSTINCT INSIDE" and, afer a furious
war with Remes (playing at home ----), also gained frst place in overhall !! In Finland it is NOT AT ALL easy
beat someone like Remes. Now in Enduro GP the two have exactly the same points, with a decent gap on
rivals. I guess in Sweden it will be a “fre and fames” match between the two !!
Stll unlucky Santolino who, afer a great start, crashed into a scandinavian big stone, demolishing either
himself or his bike !!! Result: trauma to neck and shoulder. Despite this, he tried Sunday, but was
completely “steady" Best to stop and try again in Sweden! Really a BAD year for him, but he is a warrior and
will come back!
The two "students" Olsen and Savo made their learning in junior race with some points snatched in the
ranking! For sure they will do beter in Sweden!
Today we work in Heinola; tomorrow stop in Hamelinna to make "tribute" to KING Mika Ahola and then
Sweden where VIKINGS!
