Italian and Spanish academic e-books
Torrossa content update, Spring 2016
Since the beginning of the year, approximately 1,000 new e-books have been added to our bibliographic
database www.ilibri.com, with contributions from many major publishers, including, from Italy,
Edizioni Quasar, Firenze University Press, Interlinea, Libreria Musicale Italiana, Pisa University Press
and Viella, and Editorial UOC, Tirant lo Blanch, Editorial CSIC, Octaedro and Universidad de Alcalá
from Spain.
250 new Franco Angeli e-books
Among the most notable recent additions to our digital library are 250 monographic titles published
in 2015 by the prestigious Franco Angeli Edizioni. Fifty monographs published in the early months of
2016 will soon be made available, while new material will be released regularly throughout the year.
More Law content from Giappichelli Editore
Some of the latest titles from Giappichelli Editore, a leading publisher of academic books in the fields
of Law, Economics, Business and Management, have also been released, with over 90 monographs
added to the online catalogue.
All new content has been carefully selected for its academic relevance and covers, principally, the
Social Sciences, Art, History and Literature. The titles can be selected and ordered directly online at
libraries.casalini.it, in exactly the same way as print publications.
NEW CONTRIBUTORS
We are pleased to welcome three new contributing publishers to the Torrossa digital library: the historical
publisher Hoepli; Aras Edizioni, an innovative publisher specialising in the Humanities and Edizioni
Qiqajon. In the near future, content from Pacini Editore will also be made available online.
FUTURE PROJECTS
We are currently compiling a collection of Italian academic publishing in the English language. The
aim of this collection is to make quality Italian research available to a wider community of scholars
unfamiliar with the Italian language.
