o organizzato un matrimonio
in Puglia e… che terra!
Una regione d’Italia con
un mare magnifico, un cibo di alta
qualità e gente che ti accoglie come se
ti conoscesse da sempre. Manca poco
tempo alla data e decido di affrontare
quest’avventura già in corsa. Prendo un
aereo da Milano, mi precipito per un
sopralluogo e trovo un posto davvero
speciale. Una natura ricca di forme
e colori, ulivi come sculture forgiate
dal tempo, fichi d’india, agavi e piante
grasse di ogni tipo. Il mare di un colore
che cambia dal verde all’azzurro, onde
che portano a riva rami bianchi ritorti.
Ci troviamo al Coccaro Beach Club,
una struttura 5 stelle lusso vicino a
Monopoli e a Polignano; siamo nel
cuore della Puglia ai confini con il
Salento. Mi chiedo: ma perché non
sfruttare al massimo ciò che la natura
già regala? Nasce così l’idea di creare
degli insiemi poveri ma creativi e chic.
Nell’esclusivo tratto di spiaggia circondato
da dune secolari, è stato allestito un
gazebo per celebrare la cerimonia
civile, mentre nella lounge si è tenuto
il banchetto di nozze seguito dalla
cena placè. Ora entriamo nel cuore
dell’allestimento. Nel salotto avvolto dai
profumi della macchia mediterranea,
palme, divani e cuscini, tendaggi in lino
bianco, tappeti in canapa e lanterne
antiche. I centro tavola realizzati con
foglie di fichi d’india dipinti, bottiglie
vintage (una diversa dall’altra) assemblate
con rami di coralli neri (gorgonie) legati
da uno spago di canapa grezza.

FABULOUS WEDDING AT THE SEASIDE
ricoperta da un tappeto, incorniciata da
parallelepipedi bianchi che reggevano
una teca in vetro trasparente dove
sono state posizionate candele, piante
grasse e gorgonie coordinate. Una
grande scultura realizzata con agavi,
legni ritorti naturali e piante grasse nata
da una mia idea e realizzata dall’artista
Erika Calesini, sovrastava il gazebo
così da dare ancora più importanza e
ricchezza al luogo dove si è celebrato
il rito. Il bouquet: una composizione di
rose inglesi bianche, bacche di simphory
carpus e madrepola corallina bianca.
Per creare una nuance fra ospiti e
sposi, tutte le signore hanno avuto in
omaggio bomboniere speciali: bracciali
di fiori creati con conchiglie, legnetti
e perle (tutti pezzi unici realizzati a
mano). I signori invece hanno avuto
la possibilità di indossare un cappello
Panama che hanno trovato dentro un
gozzo da pesca posizionato all’inizio
della passerella che conduceva in
spiaggia. Per illuminare e riscaldare
l’atmosfera, vicino al gazebo sovrastato
da teli bianchi e candele, ho voluto un
bracere che ha dato luce al taglio della
torta. Geometrica, su tre piani, total
white decorata con petali e gorgonie,
lo splendido dolce si è trasformato per
diventare scultura e centro della festa.
All’arrivo degli sposi, agli ospiti è stato
distribuito un palloncino luminoso da
lanciare nel cielo insieme a centinaia
di desideri che si sono liberati nell’aria
così come il divertimento e l’emozione,
respirati a pieni polmoni. Balli e sorrisi,
allegria e amore fino a tarda notte
seppur nella lievità della sospensione
temporale che fa sentire parte di un
luogo, protagonisti di un sogno. Anche
questa volta torno a casa con una
bella esperienza e il cuore pieno di
gioia per aver fatto con passione ciò
che amo di più.

organized a wedding in Puglia and ... what a
place! A region of Italy with a magnificent sea,
high-quality food and people that welcome you
as if we had known each other forever. The time
is near so I decide to tackle this adventure that
has already started. I take a plane from Milan, I
rush for a survey and I find a very special place.
A nature rich in shapes and colors, sculptures
carved from olive trees, prickly pears, agaves
and cactus. The sea of a colour that changes
from green to blue, waves that bring ashore white

twisted branches.We are located at Coccaro
Beach Club, a 5-star luxury hotel near Monopoli
and Polignano. We are in the heart of Puglia
Salento borders. I wonder: but why not make
the most of what nature already offers? Thus
the idea of creating poor but creative and chic
collections. In the exclusive stretch of beach
surrounded by century-old dunes was set up
a gazebo to celebrate the civil ceremony while
in the lounge was held the wedding banquet
followed by dinner placè. Now we enter the heart
of construction. In the living room surrounded by
the scents of the Mediterranean maquis palms,
sofas and pillows, white linen curtains, hemp
rugs and antique lanterns. The centerpiece
made from prickly pear leaves paintings, vintage
bottles (different to one another) assembled with
branches of black corals (gorgonia) linked by a
rough hemp twine. The ramp made of natural
wood was covered by a carpet, surrounded
by white boxes that held up an encased in
transparent glass where candles, succulents
and gorgonians were placed. A large sculpture
made of twisted natural wood agaves, and
succulents one of my ideas and created by
artist Erika Calesini overlooking the gazebo to
give even more importance and richness to
the place where the wedding was celebrated.
The bouquet: a composition of white English
roses, berries of carpus and white madrepola
simphory reef. To create a nuance between
guests and the bride and groom all the ladies
were welcomed with special favors: flower
bracelets made from seashells, wood, and
pearls (all unique handcrafted pieces). The
men had the chance to wear a Panama Hat
that they found in a fishing boat located at the
top of the walkway leading to the beach. To
illuminate and heat the atmosphere near the
gazebo roof topped with white drapes and
candles I wanted a charcoal-broil that gave light
to the cutting of the cake. Geometric on three
layers, total white decorated with petals and
sweet, the beautiful sea became a sculpture
and the center of the party. At the arrival of
the bride and groom guests were distributed a
bright balloon to launch into the sky along with
hundreds of wishes that were released into the
air as well as the fun and excitement that was
remarkable. Dances and smiles, joy and love
until late at night, although in the lightness of
the suspension that makes you feel part of a
place, of a dream. This time I came home with a
great experience, and my heart filled with joy for
having done with passion what I love the most.
