Introduction /Rationale
Each individual with healthy condition functions well in participating daily tasks and in
earning a living. Hence health personnel's are advocating of health lifestyle to prevent illness
causing immediate death, and prolonged suffering. But though, everyday, thousands of people
got sick with a variety cause. Some takes medicines at home and some were confined at the
hospitals.
Apart of the residents in Paranaque City are indigent families especially those living at
Camella creek 1 and 2, Salazar compound and Malacanang. Some of them are informal settlers.
Income does not suffice all the basic needs. In times of illness, they are hard-up to provide the
needed medicines prescribed, thus faced of complications. In addition children that are catered
of Buklod also needs medical attention in times of prevalent sickness occurrence such as cough
and colds, and fever. Home medication that most of indigent families do leads serious health
concerns. Thus they need help from agencies providing medical assistance. An equipped health
center will be of help to client's that can't afford hospital expenses/ consultations with pay.
Description of the proposed project:
This consist of equipping the health center space located at #34 Andrew St.,Don Bosco
Village, Betterliving Subdivision, Paranaque City. It will be staffed by a Doctor and a nurse paid
by monthly basis. But it needs medical equipments such as examination table, computer for
clients profile and other needed for documentary purposes. It also needs medicine supplies.
Mission:
To serve indigent families along Paranaque and neighboring places for a healthier
condition that makes them as functional individual.
Specific Objectives :
1. To provide free medical consultations;
2. To provide free medicines taken for 3 days.
3. To provide outpatient services.
Target Beneficiaries:
1. Nutri-care/ Supplemental feeding program beneficiaries along Camella creek 1 and 2, Salazar
Compound and Malacanang indigents.
2. Buklod sponsored children
3. Residential beneficiaries
4. Walk-in individuals from the neighborhood
Key Activities & Timetable:
Target functioning of the clinic will be last week of November 2015. Free check up and
consultation from Monday to Saturday. While the following preparations will be done such as:
-purchase of medicines and other medical equipments like, weighing scale, height monitoring
scale, examination table, computer and others.
-networking to agencies/companies that implements Medical services,e.g. pharmacy/ drug
laboratory;
-hiring medical personnel

- Clients can consult in this health center but can avail of free
medicines at Buklod Clinic with the prescription. Health professional within the vicinity
is our support system for our client's to attain good health.

Note: Space/rooms were already provided, located mainly at Buklod Center, thus we were to
equip it.

Aisa Kamsa- she is the first pregnant client of Buklod under Residential Home Care
She plans to renounce her parental rights after she gives birth to her child.
Buklod will continue guide and help her especially on her medication with
her syphilis. We hope Her child be okay after birth.

Introduzione
La salute rappresenta un bene primario e una condizione indispensabile del benessere
individuale. Ogni individuo in buona salute riesce a svolgere al meglio le attività quotidiane e a
guadagnarsi da vivere. Uno stile di vita sano previene le malattie gravi o dolorose.
Ogni giorno, migliaia di persone si ammalano; alcune possono curarsi e prendere le medicine a
domicilio, altri si ricoverano in ospedale.
Una parte degli abitanti di Paranaque City è costituita da famiglie molte povere, quelli che
vivono nelle baracche di Camella Creek 1 e 2, di Salazar compound e di Malacanang sono i poveri tra i
poveri; alcuni di loro hanno costruito abusivamente la loro capanna sul terreno di proprietà altrui.
I redditi di questi non sono sufficienti nemmeno a soddisfare i bisogni primari, se si ammalano,
non possono curarsi né acquistare le medicine. I bambini, aiutati da Buklod Kalinga Para Sa Kapwa in
alcuni periodi hanno bisogno di maggiore assistenza medica per curare patologie diffuse, come tosse,
raffreddore e febbre. Essi riescono a curarsi solo con l’aiuto delle associazioni benefiche che forniscono
assistenza medica.
Quindi, vorremmo attrezzare un ambulatorio medico per le persone indigenti che non possono
permettersi di pagare le spese per il ricovero all’ospedale né il costo delle visite mediche.
Descrizione del progetto proposto:
Alcuni locali liberi al n. 34 di Andrew St., Villaggio Don Bosco, Betterliving subdivision, Paranaque
City, sede di Buklod Kalinga Para Sa Kapwa, saranno ristrutturati ad ambulatorio medico ed arredati
adeguatamente, con lettini medici, computer per i profili dei pazienti, medicinali ecc.
Nella struttura presteranno servizio un medico e un infermiere.
DESTINATARI: le famiglie povere residenti a Paranaque e dintorni per il miglioramento delle loro
condizioni di vita e di salute.
Obiettivi:
1.
fornire consulenze mediche gratuite;
2.
fornire medicine gratuite per i primi 3 giorni di malattia;
3.
fornire servizi ambulatoriali.
Lista beneficiari:
1.
i bambini denutriti o malnutriti inseriti nei programmi nutrizionali di Buklod Kalinga Para sa
Kapwa;
2.
i bambini sostenuti a distanza da Buklod Kalinga Para sa Kapwa;
3.
i bambini senza casa e ospiti permanenti nella sede di Buklod Kalinga Para sa Kapwa;
4.
tutte le persone bisognose del quartiere.
Principali attività e programma
Aprire l’ambulatorio entro l’ultima settimana di novembre 2015 e tenerlo aperto dal lunedì al
sabato. Prestazioni gratuite.
Attività preliminari:



acquistare i medicinali e le attrezzature mediche, bilancia, scala monitoraggio altezza, lettino,
computer e altro;
definire accordi con altre associazioni/enti (farmacie, laboratori) per arricchire i servizi medici;
assumere il personale medico.
