DESCRIZIONE
Toolfusion® 3 è una resina epossidica bicomponente a bassa viscosità utilizzata per la realizzazione, tramite
infusione, di stampi in composito preimpregnati. Toolfusion® 3 ha una bassa temperatura iniziale di
polimerizzazione (49 ºC) e può essere sottoposta a post-polimerizzazione per raggiungere un’elevata
temperatura di transizione vetrosa (218 ºC). È possibile raggiungere un contenuto di vuoti inferiore all’1%.
Toolfusion® 3 è adatto a vari processi RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) e VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer
Molding) tra cui sacchi singoli e doppi per produrre laminati di qualità pari a quella dell’autoclave.
BENEFICI
> Il processo di infusione della resina fornisce laminati di altissima qualità con bassi costi di produzione e
nessun costo di refrigerazione e di funzionamento dell’autoclave.
> La bassa temperatura iniziale di indurimento porta a un ridotto effetto di dilatazione termica durante la
polimerizzazione consentendo di utilizzare materiali a basso costo per i modelli master.
> L’impiego delle nanotecnologie offre una straordinaria solidità e un’elevata temperatura di transizione
vetrosa (218 ºC) che consentono una lunga durata degli utensili e la riduzione dei costi del ciclo di vita.
> La bassa viscosità consente l’infusione di laminati più spessi e complessi con minori linee di alimentazione
della resina.
> Rispetto agli stampi metallici, gli attrezzi compositi Toolfusion® 3 sono più leggeri e semplici da maneggiare e
riducono i costi di produzione grazie alla minore inerzia termica.
> I laminati per utensili compositi Toolfusion® 3 hanno resistenza sufficiente per l’utilizzo nel processo sotto
vuoto sia in forno che in autoclave.

Resina per infusione ad alta temperatura con bassa temperatura di polimerizzazione iniziale
Polimerizzazione iniziale:
> Polimerizzare il laminato su un modello master sotto vuoto completo.
> Portare la temperatura a 49 ºC e mantenerla per 12 ore.
> Rimuovere i materiali per sacchi a vuoto e attaccare la struttura di supporto agganciata, se necessario.
> Rimuovere con cautela il laminato e proseguire con il processo di post-polimerizzazione.
Programma di post-polimerizzazione:
> Portare la temperatura a 65 ºC e mantenerla per 60 minuti.
> Portare la temperatura a 93 ºC e mantenerla per 60 minuti.
> Portare la temperatura a 121 ºC e mantenerla per 60 minuti.
> Portare la temperatura a 149 ºC e mantenerla per 60 minuti.
> Portare la temperatura a 177 ºC e mantenerla per 60 minuti.
> Portare la temperatura a 204 ºC e mantenerla per 120 minuti.
