Il bikini nasce esattamente il 5 luglio 1946 dalla mano di un sarto francese, Louis Réard. Il
modello proposto da Réard nel '46 lasciava molto scoperto il corpo femminile così destò
un grande scalpore.
La storia del costume a due pezzi invece è cominciata molto tempo prima
