Serax werd 25 jaar geleden opgericht en stond aan de basis van een (r)evolutie in de bloemistensector. Ontwerpen van nationale en internationale designers zagen het levenslicht en
veranderde deze sector voorgoed. Deze ambitie bepaalt nog steeds het zijn van Serax, e
nkel
is het speelveld vergroot. Decoratieobjecten, tablewarelijnen en klein meubilair werden
toegevoegd aan de collectie. Vandaag geldt Serax als een designplatform waar synergieën
tussen nationale en internationale ontwerpers ontstaan. Serax houdt steeds vast aan de
ambitie om haar klanten toegankelijk, kwalitatief en functioneel design aan te bieden.
Fondé voici un quart de siècle, Serax inspira une (r)évolution chez les fleuristes, qui s’ouvrirent par son entremise aux créations de designers belges et étrangers. Cette ambition
demeure le leitmotiv de l’enseigne, mais son champ d’action s’est considérablement accru.
Petit mobilier, textiles de table et articles de décoration ont étoffé la collection, dans le respect de la philosophie de base : offrir un design de qualité et accessible. Aujourd’hui, Serax
assume un rôle de plate-forme design, suscitant des synergies entre concepteurs belges et
étrangers. Plus que jamais, la marque rime avec design fonctionnel, accessibilité et qualité.
Set up 25 years ago, Serax formed the basis of a significant (r)evolution in the floristry sector.
Designs created by Belgian and international designers emerged and changed this sector
forever. This ambition continues to define Serax’s reason for being, except that the playing
field has expanded. Decorative objects, tableware collections and small furniture articles
have been added to the collection, while never losing sight of the core philosophy of accessibility, quality, design. Today, Serax serves as a design platform, where synergies are created
between Belgian and international designers. Serax always retains its ambition of offering
its customers accessible, high-quality and functional design.
Serax è stata fondata 25 anni fa, dando origine a una vera e propria “rivoluzione evolutiva”
nel settore dei fioristi. Videro la luce creazioni di designer nazionali e internazionali, che
cambiarono questo settore in modo permanente. Questo spirito continua a caratterizzare
l’essenza di Serax: da allora, soltanto gli orizzonti si sono allargati. Oggetti di decorazione,
varie linee di articoli per la tavola e piccoli complementi di arredo si sono via via aggiunti alla
collezione, sempre all’insegna della filosofia dell’accessibilità, della qualità e del design.
Oggi Serax è considerata un luogo di incontro dove nascono sinergie tra designer nazionali
e internazionali. Serax si mantiene fedele alla promessa di offrire ai propri clienti un design
accessibile, funzionale e di qualità.

Hunkerend naar de nostalgie van oude reclameborden,
zoekend naar duurzame materialen die een antwoord
bieden op onze toenemende consumptiemaatschappij
ziet Emaille by Marie Michielssen het licht. Een collectie
van producten die elk interieur opvrolijken met de vintage prints maar ook functioneel hun nut bewijzen in de
keuken. Duurzame producten in email, bestempeld met
retro prints, eigen aan ontwerpster Marie Michielssen.
Of hoe een vergeten materiaal terug op de rader wordt
geplaatst en een nieuw toekomst ziet.
Emaille by Marie Michielssen est le fruit d’une nostalgie
pour les vieux panneaux publicitaires de jadis et les matériaux durables et inusables. Gageons qu’aujourd’hui
encore, ils répondront aux besoins croissants de la société de consommation. Cette collection égaye n’importe
quel intérieur par des imprimés vintage, mais néanmoins bien utiles en cuisine. Des produits permanents
en émail, rehaussés d’imprimés rétro, propres à la
créatrice Marie Michielssen. La preuve qu’un matériau
d’antan conserve un bel avenir.

Emaille by Marie Michielssen is born out of a yearning for
the nostalgia of old advertising boards and a search for
durable materials that answer the needs of our growing
consumer society. A collection of products that brightens
up every interior with its vintage prints, but also proves
its worth functionally in the kitchen. Durable products in
enamel, bearing the characteristic retro prints of the designer, Marie Michielssen. Or how a forgotten material is
put back on the radar and given a new future.

alla ricerca di materiali resistenti in grado di offrire una
risposta alla nostra società sempre più consumistica,
arriva la collezione Emaille creata da Marie Michielssen.

Honoré design heeft voor de Serax zomercollectie vintage zomerzetels getekend die ons laten wegdromen
naar de Côte D’Azur van de jaren vijftig. Zetels met een
vintagelook waarin je lekker kan luieren tijdens warme
zomermaanden. Deze zomerzetels zijn gemaakt uit ijzer
en gevlochten elastiek en zijn beschikbaar in mono en
duo-uitvoering.
Pour la collection estivale de Serax, Honoré design a
dessiné des sièges vintage qui évoquent la Côte d’Azur
des années 50, dans lesquels il fait bon de paresser en
été. Ils sont fabriqués en fer et élastiques tressés et
existent en version mono ou duo.
For the Serax summer collection, Honoré design has
designed vintage summer chairs that take us away to
1950’s Côte d’Azur. Chairs with a vintage look you can
relax in during the warm summer months. These summer chairs are made of iron and braided rubber and are
available in single and double design.
Per la collezione estiva di Serax, Honoré design ha disegnato comode sedute in stile vintage che ci riportano con
il pensiero alla Costa Azzurra degli anni Cinquanta. Arredi dal sapore rétro che invitano all’ozio nei caldi mesi

Het designersduo JAN&LARA heeft samen met Paul Delaisse de Nomad Chair
ontworpen. Een stoel die ontstaan is uit een vloeiend lijnenspel dat samenkomt in
een iconisch ontwerp waar ruimte is voor eigen creativiteit door zelf voor kleur te
kiezen of ermee te spelen. Een stoel die zowel binnen als buiten aard en die in een
handomdraai te personaliseren is door van stof te verwisselen.
Le duo de designers JAN&LARA a conçu, en collaboration avec Paul Delaisse,
la Nomad Chair. Cette chaise née d’un jeu de lignes fluides qui se rejoignent
pour former un concept iconique permet en plus d’exprimer sa propre créativité
en choisissant ou en jouant avec la couleur. Une chaise magnifique, aussi bien à
l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur, que l’on peut personnaliser en un tour de main par un
simple changement de tissu.
Designer duo JAN&LARA and Paul Delaisse designed the Nomad Chair. A chair
that originated from a fluent line pattern that comes together in an iconic design
with room for own creativity by choosing the colour or playing with it. A chair that
looks good both inside and outside and is personalised in no time by changing the
cover.
La coppia di designer JAN&LARA ha progettato assieme a Paul Delaisse la sedia
Nomad Chair. Una sedia che è il prodotto di un gioco di linee fluido che sfocia in

Ontwikkeld voor Peter Goossens, in samenwerking met de
Belgische keramiste Ann van Hoey, resulteert de behendige dialoog tussen geometrische vormen - van cirkel tot
punt - in een ontegensprekelijk gevoel van sierlijkheid en
puurheid. De Geometry collectie laat u door zijn zuivere
vormen genieten van de verrukking en het genot van elke
maaltijd.
“Geometry” was developed for Peter Goossens by the Belgian ceramist Ann van Hoey. Her creation of skilful dialogue between geometric shapes – from the circle to the
point – resulted in an irrefutable sense of elegance and purity. The pure forms in the Geometry collection allow you to
enjoy the delights and pleasures of each and every meal.
Développé par Peter Goossens, en collaboration avec la
céramiste belge Ann van Hoey, le dialogue adroit entre
formes géométriques – du cercle au point – crée un sentiment indéniable d’élégance et de pureté. La collection

Deze porseleinen reeks staat symbool voor vernieuwing
op verschillende vlakken. Het is de eerste keer dat een
collectie in productie wordt gebracht waarbij de imperfectie, het onvolmaakte en het toeval tijdens het productieproces een kans van bestaan krijgen. Het servies is
als het balanceren op een zijden draadje: de perfecte
imperfectie. ‘Het boek van de eerste zOn’ is een mooie
aansluiting op dit verhaal.
Cette série en porcelaine symbolise le renouveau à
différents niveaux. C’est en effet la toute première fois
qu’une collection est mise en production où le défaut,
l’imperfection et le hasard du processus de production
ont droit à l’existence. La vaisselle incarne la suspension à un fil de soie : l’imperfection parfaite. « Le livre du
premier sOleil » vient joliment compléter cette histoire.
This porcelain range is a symbol of innovation in several ways. It is the first time a collection is produced in
which imperfection, defectiveness and coincidence are
given the chance to play their part during the production
process. The service is like balancing on a thin wire: the
perfect imperfection. “The book of the first sUn” is a nice
continuation of this story.

in diversi settori. È la prima volta che, durante la produzione di una collezione, si lascia una possibilità di esistere all’imperfezione, all’incompleto e al caso. Il servizio è

contrasting materials, such as finely polished porcelain
with the roughness of sandstone. Béatrice aims to bring
these together to create their own ‘landscape’ in her designs from natural porcelain forms.

maison d’etre een uitgebreid gamma van rozen, pioenen,

En 1987, les frères Serge et Axel Van den Bossche ont repris l’entreprise de leur mère qui
s’appellerait désormais Serax. Ce qui avait commencé par une série de cache-pots s’est bien
vite transformé en une vaste gamme d’articles de décoration. Au début des années 1990,
Frank Lambert vient renforcer l’équipe de direction et l’entreprise déménage à Kontich. La
collection Serax compte aujourd’hui pas moins de 4 000 objets d’intérieur comprenant entre
autres des services de table élégants et raffinés, des verreries originales, ainsi que de jolies
petites bougies d’ambiance. Serax propose des produits innovateurs et design à des prix
abordables. Grâce à son interprétation originale des tendances actuelles, l’entreprise est en
mesure de répondre clairement aux besoins des fleuristes et des magasins de décoration

In 1987 besloten de broers Axel en Serge Van den Bossche de zaak van hun moeder over te

versterkt met Frank Lambert en verhuisde het bedrijf naar Kontich. V
andaag telt de collectie van Serax niet minder dan 4000 interieurobjecten, gaande van origineel glaswerk over
elegante serviezen tot sfeervolle theelichtjes. Serax staat voor vernieuwend en betaalbaar
design.
Het bedrijf speelt met zijn eigenzinnige kijk op de huidige trends duidelijk in op de behoeftes
van bloemisten en interieurzaken. Om vernieuwing en creativiteit te verzekeren werkt Serax
samen met toonaangevende designers uit binnen- en buitenland, zoals Marie Michielssen,
Roel Vandebeek, Moniek Vanden Berghe en Roos Van de Velde. Doorheen de jaren is Serax
