What is your social media top priority?', a cui ha prèso parte, Lorenzo Brufani, ceo dell'agenzia Competence Communication. Reputation management and crisis management on the social media were centrai themes at the World Communication Forum in Davos. Speakers from India, Asia and Europe have discusseti about the most appropriate criterio for evaluating the effectiveness of communication on the social networks during the panel 'Quantity or Quality? What is your social media top priority?'. Lorenzo Brufani, CEO, Competence Communication, explains: "Today, the attacks on the reputation of organisations are increasingly unleashed on the social networks and spread like wildfire to traditional media and TV. Therefore, it is cruciai to intervene in the very first hours of a crisis in order to influence the media and stakeholders and guide the process of opinion formation". Brufani has then presented to the audience the strategies to prevent and manage a crisis, discussing with important International professionals on the applicability of this model to other markets. "In order to protect the reputation of an organisation, the priority is to take up a clear and sometimes audacious stance about the issue, but also adopt 'smile marketing', that is an ironie language to convey criticai or unpopular messages. We also need to involve authorìtative third parties such as industry associations and experts to build strategie alliances and engagement actions". tourism industry struggling with the digitai media and the catori di ministeri degli Affari Esteri, la comunicazione management of reputation crises on the social media. "If you want to talk to communication profession a l today, you have to delete geographical borders - says Andrea Cornelli, CEO, Ketchum, and Coordinator, PR Hub -. Just think of ali those start-ups that are now operating at a global level. Companies need advice tailored to their business needs, and if you have a peripheral vision, or just apply the Anglo-Saxon model, you cannot provide it. For this, it is essential to start looking at markets such as China or India. As far as a partnership is concerned, this means examining differences and common features". In Italy, meanwhile, associations are allegedly on the wane, but Cornelli disagrees: "Well, I refuse to talk about crises at a time of momentous change, the role of associations is more important than ever". And then he clarifies his point of view: "Associations in general are not experiencing a crisis, current Italian associations are. They are inadequate, they do not give answers. They are too far from business needs and are struggling to shift from a single to a multi-disciplinary approach and from analogue to digitai. PR Hub addresses these reflections: it is a business-oriented platform, flexible so that the focus can be changed in real time". And the event in Davos was precisely permeated by a desire to share. "The communication business was born in the Anglo-Saxon world, but today the scenario has completely changed - says Maxim Behar, President, ICCO -. Therefore, it is fundamental to sit down with our competitors. We have to share ethical standards, establish service benchmarks for our clients and embrace honesty, transparency and efficiency". Behar has then invited the audience not to barricade into conservative positions: "In a few years, La proprietà intellettuale è riconducibile alla fonte specificata in testa alla pagina.
