Alfasigma: due anime,
un’idea di futuro
Alfasigma è un grande gruppo farmaceutico
nato nel 2015 dall’unione di due storiche
realtà italiane, Alfa Wassermann e SigmaTau. In tempi di rapidi cambiamenti e di
competizione globale, una dimensione
adeguata è indispensabile per affrontare
le sfide del mercato farmaceutico e per
poter investire le risorse necessarie in
ricerca, sviluppo e innovazione. Per questo
le due aziende hanno deciso di mettere
in comune il loro patrimonio di uomini,
prodotti e competenze, ponendo le basi per
un’ulteriore crescita. Alfasigma è tra i primi
cinque operatori del settore farmaceutico
in Italia, sia per i prodotti da prescrizione
che per quelli di automedicazione, e ha una
presenza radicata a livello internazionale.

Alfasigma is a major pharmaceutical group
created in 2015 by the aggregation of two
historic Italian companies, Alfa Wassermann
and Sigma-Tau.
In times of rapid change and global
competition, pharmaceutical companies have
to be big enough to take on the challenges
of the market and invest the necessary
resources in research, development and
innovation. For this reason, the two companies
decided to pool their assets in terms
of workforce, products and skills, and thereby
lay the foundations for further growth.
Alfasigma is among the top five players
in the pharmaceutical industry in Italy, both
in terms of prescription and OTC products, and
is well established internationally. It is a sound
