Erasmus Entrepreneurship Awards 2012 The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Support Office announces the launch of the contest for the “Erasmus Entrepreneurship Awards 2012” and invites all eligible New and Host Entrepreneurs to prepare and submit their entries according to the Award Categories that follow. Winning entries will be presented and receive their awards during a special award ceremony that will be organized by DG Enterprise & Industry and will take place in Brussels 11th October 2012. Participation costs of winners to the ceremony will be covered by the European Commission (DG Enterprise and Industry). Category 1 (C1): Best Success Story Video Under this category participants will submit a video outlining a successful EYE NE/HE relationship with the aim to showcase the relationship and promote the EYE programme. Participants should submit a video file of up to 3 minutes in duration in .avi or .wmv file formats. Videos of duration in excess of 3 minutes will not be accepted. Videos should be submitted electronically at [email protected] stating Erasmus Entrepreneurship Awards 2012 C1 at the subject line and attaching the completed Participation Form in the same email. If video files are in excess of 80MB then the files should be sent on DVD or USB by courier or registered mail to the Support Office at First Elements Euroconsultants Ltd., 10 Grigoriou Xenopoulou st, Nicosia, CY1061, Cyprus. Entries should be submitted by 17 August 2012 (note that in the instance of courier or registered mail entries these should have arrived at the Support Office address by 17 August 2012, entries arriving at the Support Office address after 17 August 2012 will not be considered). Entries will be uploaded on the EYE Facebook page1 and the public will be able to vote for the best video in order for the best three to be selected for awards. This is a joint NE/HE award category and thus entries should be submitted by a team of a New and a Host Entrepreneur that have successfully completed (as evidenced by a “Completed” status on the IT Management Tool) or that are currently participating in an ongoing relationship. Note that NE/HE pairs that have already completed a relationship may potentially create separate parts of the final video outlining their relationship and put them together at the end for preparing their submission. This is to assist relationships that have already been completed. Prizes will be jointly awarded to the NE/HE team and are as follows: First Prize: €5000 Second Prize: €4000 Third Prize: €2000 1 (http://www.facebook.com/#!/European.Entrepreneurs.EYE.Programme) Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Support Office c/o First Elements Euroconsultants Ltd Category 2 (C2): Most Successful Post Relationship Cooperation Under this category participants will submit a presentation of up to 10 slides outlining successful post relationship cooperation (joint venture, new company, exports-imports etc.) with the aim to showcase the potential for actual business development for NEs / HEs that can come from a successful relationship.
