Anno scolastico 2011/2012
Each year on the13th of December , in our country, we remember St. Lucia.
A ritual transmitted from generation to generation : girls and boys wait for the Holy who will
bring gifts and candies with her donkey at night.
For each child this night is special because of the magic that surrounds it: the light goes
out, from a distance comes the sound of her bell and the excitement for what will
happen is great.
Tradition wants each child to write a letter to the Holy in which they express their wishes
and they promise that they will be very good children.
Finally, they prepare a hot drink in their homes for Saint Lucia and some hay for the donkey.
In the morning, when they wake up, the children will find toys and sweets.
Il 13 dicembre di ogni anno, nel nostro paese, ricordiamo
S.Lucia.
Di generazione in generazione si trasmette un rito:
bambine e bambini attendono la Santa che nella notte
con il suo asinello, porterà doni e caramelle.
Per ogni bambino questa notte è speciale per la
“magia”che la circonda: la luce si spegne,da lontano
giunge il suono del suo campanellino e l'emozione per
quello che accadrà è grande.
La tradizione vuole che ogni bambino scriva una lettera
alla Santa nella quale esprima i suoi desideri e si
proponga di essere più buono. Infine, si prepara nelle
case una bevanda calda per Santa Lucia e del fieno per
l'asinello.
Al mattino, svegliandosi, il bambino troverà giocattoli e
dolci.
