The Saudi Media Forum, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Information and supported by Arab State
Broadcasting Union and Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, is taking place from 26-28 November 2013 at the
InterContinental Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
It is currently an exciting time in the Kingdom, with the government recently announcing their plans to establish a
media city with advanced satellite television channel transmission facilities. With this, the country will encourage private
channels currently operating from overseas stations to telecast their programs from the Kingdom.
