australiana di fama internazionale. Le sue opere si trovano
all’interno di importanti collezioni private, di organi di governo ed
università come: Eric Clapton,

Oman. R.Noakes realizza opere
genuine, istintive, di grande
freschezza ed autenticità, che
nella loro chiara volontà di
emancipazione da dogmi estetici
e stilemi accademici, ricordano
per certi versi l’arte naïf. Attingendo da esperienze ed osservazioni
personali, l’artista crea dipinti che costituiscono un mosaico di
piccole storie; storie scaturite dagli “immediati” dintorni della vita
della pittrice. Una cronaca del presente che però viene sempre
trasposta entro scenari fantastici, onirici; questo fascino un po’
fiabesco, che trova in parte sottili affinità con le favole pittoriche
di Chagall e ricorda il candore arcaico e le stilizzazione del “doganiere” Rousseau, arricchisce le opere di un intenso lirismo poetico
e di delicati sentimenti.

REGINA NOAKES is an Australian artist of international fame.
Her artworks are in private collections, government bodies and
universities such as Eric Clapton, Sting MBE, The British Goverment Art Collection, Sultanate of Oman.
R.Noakes gives life to a genuine and instinctive paintings of great
freshness and authenticity, which in their clear will to emancipation from aesthetic tenets, remind the naive art.
By drawing from personal experiences and observations, the
artist creates paintings that make up a mosaic of short stories;
stories that arise out from the "immediate" surroundings of the
painter’s life. But this chronicle of the present is always transposed within fantastic and dreamlike scenery; this pretty
“fairy-tale” charm, which partly find subtle affinities with Marc
Chagall’s pictorial fables and reminiscent of the archaic candor
and stylization of the "Douanier" Rousseau, enriches the works of
an intense poetic lyricism and of delicate feelings.
