MODULE 1
English Grammar
Lingua (grammatica e comunicazione): si è continuata la preparazione sulle strutture grammaticali integrandole
con nuova grammatica ed esercitando in modo equilibrato le attività di reading, writing, listening e speaking,
funzionali ad una competenza comunicativa di livello upper-intermediate.
Gli argomenti trattati hanno previsto lo studio di un lessico specifico relativo anche al linguaggio propriamente
letterario (how to build a comparision, an essay, a summary etc.) alle funzioni comunicative e le strutture
grammaticali necessarie a costruire frasi corrette, con registro formale e informale.
Le strutture riviste e/o approfondite sul testo iniziato nel biennio (al punto 2) sono state le seguenti:

Simple Past, Present Perfect, Past Perfect

Present Perfect Continuous

Past Perfect Continuous

Il periodo ipotetico di tipo 0, 1, 2, 3 (uso del present/past conditional) e preposizioni avverbiali di tempo
(if, unless, when, until, as soon as, provided, as long as)

Reported Speech (riportare affermazioni, domande, ordini, frasi future e condizionali) con memorizzazione
di verbi che introducono il discorso indiretto e loro costruzioni

La voce passiva: passivo normale, personale, impersonale; far fare e farsi fare (costruzioni con make, let,
get – have something done)

Verbi modali: should, shouldn’t, ought to, had better

How far is it? / How long does it take?

CONNETTIVI: and, but, although, as, since, because, so; after, before, when, while

How + aggettivo / avverbio: how tall, how old, how much, how many, how often

