ZAVA nasce dal talento creativo e dall’energia visionaria del suo titolare,
Franco Zavarise, che nella sua officina ha saputo fondere le più avanzate
tecnologie con una sapiente lavorazione artigianale del metallo.
ZAVA da sempre crea prodotti di illuminazione e complementi d’arredo i
cui tratti distintivi sono qualità, attenzione al design, creatività fuori dagli
schemi e grande attenzione al dettaglio. Le collezioni ZAVA sono riconosciute
come una vera e propria eccellenza del made in Italy.
ZAVA was created thanks to the founder, Franco Zavarise’s creative talent
and visionary energy: in his workshop he was able to combine advanced
technology and wise craftsmanship in metalwork.
From the very start, Zava has created lighting products and furnishings
that are distinguished by high quality and design, creativity and attention
to detail. The ZAVA collections are recognized for their true italian made
excellency.

With ZAVA, the link between traditional craftsmanship, culture and territory finds new meaning, as does the constant search for innovation
with the use of advanced technology and state of
the art machinery.
This combination created a completely original
and out of the box lighting product collection
whose manufacturing takes place thanks to great
attention to detail. Every article reflects wise
craftsmanship, creativity and careful design.
These are the aspects that define an italian made
product as well as the passion and regard for
true artisan talent.
ZAVA offers a unique lighting collection whose pecularity is the result of the combination
between iron’s material consistency and resistence and the light’s impalpable weightlessness.

L’Azienda
ZAVA nasce nel 1982. Fin dall’inizio, il
naturale istinto per il design, l’esperienza nella lavorazione del metallo e la
passione per l’illuminazione portano il
titolare, Franco Zavarise, a immaginare
un meraviglioso connubio tra queste
arti; è così che l’azienda si sviluppa in
questa direzione, coniugando metallo
e illuminazione in modo originale ed
innovativo.
Da allora, quella di ZAVA è una storia
di affermazione continua, costruita su
valori artigianali forti e radicati e sulla
continua innovazione tecnologica, che
contribuiscono a rendere inconfondibile
la sua capacità manifatturiera.
Oggi l’azienda può, infatti, essere considerata una vera e propria eccellenza
del made in Italy.

ZAVA was created in 1982. From the beginning, the natural instinct for design,
experience in metalwork and passion
for lighting inspired the owner, Franco
Zavarise, to create a company that
combines iron and illumination in an
originale and innovative way.
Since then, ZAVA has had constant success, but only thanks to the quality of
radicated craftsmanship and constant
technological innovation that make it’s
manufacturing unmistakably unique.

L’idea nasce dai cappelli, tutti li hanno e tutti sono diversi… Così Chapeau è una lampada, piccola e grande, rotonda, quadrata e rettangolare che può andare
a soffitto, può essere plafoniera o scendere sospesa.
Ognuno può trovare la lampada Chapeau che più lo
rappresenta e decidere, se usare la versione più piccola o quella più grande... come il cappello, si può decidere la forma... indossare la propria luce!
The idea is ispired by hats, everyone has them and
they are all different....so is the CHAPEAU lamp: big
or small, round, squared or rectangular, that can hang
from the ceiling in various manners. Anyone can choose the CHAPEAU lamp that best describes them....like
a hat, you can choose the form...and wear your own
light.

Cheo è una lampada da sospensione perfetta per illuminare il tavolo, ma ideale anche per illuminare il
centrostanza o per i corridoi. Il corpo di Cheo proietta
infatti la luce su entrambi i lati e lo fa in maniera differente: con un taglio di luce forte ma non invadente
sul lato inferiore e con un’illuminazione più morbida e
diffusa verso il soffitto.
CHEO is the perfect ceiling lamp for illuminating dining
room tables, living rooms and hallways. CHEO’s body
projects light on both sides but in different ways: it’s
light beam is strong but non-invasive on the lower side
and soft and warm towards the ceiling.

Decisa, irregolare e inaspettata. Dadì non è mai uguale
a se stessa e, da qualsiasi punto di vista la si osservi,
cambia aspetto e proporzioni con geometrica naturalità.
La lampada Dadì nasce da un foglio metallico piegato
per creare un volume monolitico, interrotto e ritmato dai
tagli diagonali.
Determined, irregular and unexpected. Dadì is never
the same, and from any point of view it is observed, it
changes aspect and geometric proportions very easily. The lamp Dadì comes from a metal sheet folded
in order to create a monolithic volume, interrupted and
patterned by diagonal cuts.

permette di avvolgere parte del cavo in modo da poter regolare l’altezza della
lampada in modo semplice, a seconda delle esigenze.
Stripped of decorative charms and essential in finishes, Driyos has a rigorous
look, characterized by clean and geometric lines. Driyos expresses its strong
personality and can surprise also thanks to the unusual suspension system,
which allows you to wrap part of the cable in order to adjust the height of the
lamp in a simple way, according to your needs.

un semplice cilindro in metallo dal fascino rétro, che
nasconde al proprio interno una tecnologica fonte a

di legno che giocano a scomporre la luce in settori.
La luce diffusa da Interseptions decora gli spazi che
viviamo, proiettando la trama del diffusore ligneo che
disegna sulle superfici zone di luce e di ombra frammentate.
A metal cylinder dissected by numerous wooden slats
that split the light into irregularly shaped areas. The
scattered light created by Interseptions decorates the
spaces in which we live, projecting the texture of the
wooden shade that draws light and fragmented shadow areas.

La lampada Officina nasce dall’incontro fra due creativi uniti da passioni comuni: le archeologie industriali
e le vecchie lampade da lavoro. Il risultato è una lampada dalle linee “ruvide” ma evocative; ispirata alle
vecchie officine, ma pensata per tutte le “officine contemporanee”.
The lamp Officina was born from the fellowship meeting between two designers united by common passions: the industrial archeology and the old style working lanterns. The result is a lamp with a “rough” but
evocative shape, inspired to the old industrial shops
atmosphere, but designed for all the “contemporary
workshops”.

If I move the light where I want, if I can change the look
of the room by bouncing the light now on the table,
now on the wall, on the ceiling or on the sofa... if I can
have a direct relationship with the form and function
of the object and the emotions that the lighting object

Quando ho disegnato questa lampada è stato il primo
nome che mi è venuto in mente perché ho pensato
alla sua forma compatta e massiccia. Soda si ispira
alle vecchie lampade industriali ma si ingentilisce con
il suo interno colorato a contrasto o in foglia oro, argento o rame.
When I designed this lamp was the first name that
came into my mind because I thought to its compact
and massive shape. Soda is inspired by the old industrial lamps but becomes more gentle thanks to the
colorful interior or decorated with gold silver or copper
leaf finish.

Le fasce in tessuto ruotano attorno al centro della
lampada come orbite di satelliti di un pianeta. Sembra
che sia la luce stessa a sostenere il tutto. Ogni diametro ha una posizione individuale nel complesso geometrico e la differenza di posizione e dimensione tra i
tanti paralumi viene sottolineata dalle luce riflessa sulla parete esterna degli stessi. Speriamo che non cada
tutto quando la lampada viene spenta...
Fabric strands rotate around the center of the lamp
like satellites orbit around a planet. It seems like
everything is supported by the light itself. Every diameter has an individual position within the geometric
scheme and the different positions and dimensions of
the lampshades is brought out by the reflections on
the exterior lining.

terra orientabile che si rifà al mondo dell’illuminazione
tecnica per siti di costruzione ma rivisitata in chiave
contemporanea ed essenziale per un ambiente domestico.
L’ampio corpo illuminante circolare garantisce una generosa illuminazione e la maniglia ne invita alla presa e all’orientamento, facilitando allo stesso tempo lo
spostamento dell’apparecchio tra un ambiente e l’altro, mentre la griglia rimovibile le dona carattere e un
aspetto forte e deciso. Disponibile con o senza griglia
ed in vari colori.
Cantiere, like the name suggests, is an adjustable floor
lamp which reminds us of technical lighting for construction sites but is revisited for home environments
in a contemporary and essential way.
The large circular luminaire provides generous illumination and the handle helps holding and orienting the
lamp while at the same time making it easy to move
the device from room to room. The removable grid gives it character and a strong appearance. It is available
with or without the grid and in various colors.

Il Design di Level è descritto da linee essenziali e moderne che alleggeriscono visivamente l’intera struttura, rendendola minimalmente funzionale ed armoniosa
nelle forme, grazie al disegnod ei ripiani circolari che si
ripetono verticalmente, l’intera struttura è riletta in chiave
squisitamente funzionale, per mascherare al meglio i cavi
e le componenti elettriche ed ottimizzare al massimo lo

Level is a floor lamp that is designed to be a multifunctional piece of furniture within the home environment: it can
be used as a light source but also a shelf or a charging
point for electronic products , thanks to the USB sockets
placed under the shelf .
Level’s design is characterized by clean and modern
lines that visually lighten the entire structure, making it
minimally functional and harmonious, thanks to the design of the circular shelves that vertically repeat. The entire
structure is reinterpreted on a purely functional level to

nel giardino. E’ la coniugazione di funzionalità e rispetto dell’ambiente, in quanto Mini Mini non genera inquinamento luminoso e soprattutto si mimetizza
nell’ambiente naturale grazie anche alla finitura ramata. L’esile stelo permette inoltre di dare a Mini Mini l’inclinazione desiderata.
A Small light source, such as a small but shining star
in the sky, Mini Mini is designed to be integrated into
the garden. It is the conjugation of functionality and respect for the environment, as Mini Mini does not generate light pollution and mostly blends into the natural
environment thanks to the copper finish. The slender
stem allows to get to Mini Mini the desired angle and
shape.

di un paralume. Metallo e luce giocano ed interagiscono, proiettando un gioco di ombre sempre in movimento e mai identico: ipnotico e rilassante, in base allo

Bustier is a compact table lamp that shows the great
virtuosity of Zava in the metal processing. A sinuous
metal structure surrounds the light source and suggests the archetypal shape of a lampshade. Metal and
light play and interact, casting a shadow effect on the
go and it is never the same: hypnotic and relaxing, depending on the state of mind of the observer.

Essenzialità e rigore d’altri tempi in Reverb: una collezione di lampade da tavolo che trae ispirazione dalle
antiche lanterne a carburo. La linea rivela la presenza
caratterizzante di un diffusore concavo dallo schermo
circolare che si innesta su di una base cilindrica; al pari
di una piccola parabola illuminante, Reverb proietta
così la luce e la irradia nello spazio, per rivestire gli
ambienti di caldi riflessi luminosi. Completano il progetto la presenza di un dimmer attraverso cui variare
l’emissione luminosa, che consente a Reverb di entrare in sintonia con i diversi luoghi della casa, dalle zone
più conviviali agli ambienti dedicati al riposo, fino agli
angoli più personali.
Simplicity and precision define Reverb: a collection of
table lamps inspired by ancient carbid lanterns. It has
a concave diffuser with a circular screen that is grafted
on a cylindrical base; its like a small illuminating curve.
Reverb projects light and radiates it into the room filling it with warm, light reflections. A dimmer puts the
finishing touch on this piece allowing Reverb to tune
into the various rooms and spaces of your home: from

descritta da forme e proporzioni equilibrate che ne

paralume con dei bottoni che ne accentuano l’appeal
giocoso ed autoironico, mentre una discreta maniglia
invita alla presa e allo spostamento dell’apparecchio
dandole un carattere dinamico e comunicandone la
versatilità.
Salopette is a small table lamp with a friendly and reliable appeal. It’s balanced and proportionate shape
makes it so it can be placed in any type of setting. The
legs are attached with buttons to the lampshade giving it it’s playful appeal while the discreet handle is
comfortable for holding and moving the device. This
lamp is, to say the least, dynamic and versatile.

il buio non lo sopporta! Quando manca la corrente
entrano in funzione i LED, alimentati a batteria. Il suo
nome deriva dall’essere celatamente anche lampada
d’emergenza che… Zak si illumina, quando Zak ... manca la corrente!
Halogen, incandescent or LED, this lamp is staging its
different light sources that complement the design.
A large halogen bulb creates an environmental light
effect by dimming the light intensity. A small incandescent bulb becomes a little courtesy light for those
who just... can not stand darkness! When a power failure brought into the house, some LED lights, powered by rechargeable batteries , turn on the light again.
From this function comes the name of this lamp from
being secretly even an emergency light that ... Zak, it

Una lampada o una mensola? Cheo è un elemento d’arredo luminoso che
oltre ad illuminare la parete, è in grado di ospitare e “mettere in luce” i nostri
oggetti preferiti, il libro che stiamo leggendo, un vaso di fiori…Il corpo di Cheo
proietta la luce su entrambi i lati e lo fa in maniera differente: con un taglio di
luce sul lato inferiore, con un’illuminazione più morbida e diffusa su quello
superiore.
Is it a lamp or a shelf? Cheo is a bright piece of furniture that lightens up the
room and at the same time it can hold and illuminate our favorite objects,
books, flower vases...Cheo’s body projects light on both sides but in different
ways: it’s light beam is strong but non-invasive on the lower side and soft and
warm towards the ceiling.

dots to see the image. DOT TO DOT is a componible

La definizione delle forme dei componenti della famiglia “Tube” nasce dallo studio delle diverse esigenze
illuminotecniche negli ambienti domestici e contract,
esigenze che sono divenute stimolo e guida per la definizione formale del progetto. La semplicità delle loro
forme segue un principio di “design silenzioso”, caro a
Valerio Cometti, secondo il quale il design deve anche
saper diventare garbato strumento di valorizzazione
degli spazi e non sempre esigente primadonna.
The definition of the forms that are composing the
“Tube” collection comes from the study of the different
lighting needs in domestic and contract requirements that have become an incentive and guide for the
formal definition of any project. The simplicity of their
forms follows a principle of “silent design”, very appreciated from Mr.Valerio Cometti, according to which the
design must also just be a gentle tool to emphasize
the spaces and do not always be a demanding prima
donna anyway.

Famiglia di lampade pensate per il contract e più in generale per installazioni importanti. Volevo dare all’interior designer o al cliente finale, la possibilità di “disegnare” forme e descrivere volumi scultorei in libertà e
con grande leggerezza, fornendo loro degli anelli di
luce, rigidi, ma eterei. Mi piaceva l’idea di prestare la
mia progettualità, il mio design ad altri professionisti,
creando un semplice alfabeto, fatto di differenti diametri, di traiettorie libere e di luce per poter comporre
queste mie “lettere” con grande inventiva e creare installazioni di grande impatto.

A family of lamps designed for the contract and more
generally for major installations. I wanted to give to the
interior designers or to the end customers the chance
to “draw” shapes and describe sculptural volumes freely, by providing rings of light that are stiff, but ethereal at the same time.I liked the idea of offering my
project concept, my design to other professionals,
creating a simple alphabet, made of different diameters and light-free path to be able to compose these
“letters” with great inventiveness and create high-impact installations.

La definizione delle forme dei componenti della famiglia “Tube” nasce dallo studio delle diverse esigenze
illuminotecniche negli ambienti domestici e contract,
esigenze che sono divenute stimolo e guida per la definizione formale del progetto. La semplicità delle loro
forme segue un principio di “design silenzioso”, caro a
Valerio Cometti, secondo il quale il design deve anche
saper diventare garbato strumento di valorizzazione
degli spazi e non sempre esigente primadonna.
The definition of the forms that are composing the
“Tube” collection comes from the study of the different
lighting needs in domestic and contract requirements that have become an incentive and guide for the
formal definition of any project. The simplicity of their
forms follows a principle of “silent design”, very appreciated from Mr.Valerio Cometti, according to which the
design must also just be a gentle tool to emphasize
the spaces and do not always be a demanding prima
donna anyway.

Ci si aspetta che una libreria sia solida come il cemento, sia realmente in grado di adattarsi alle necessità di
archiviazione, sia flessibile, aggregabile, interpretabile
nel tempo così da rendere la vita più positiva. Ricercando questi valori ho lavorato con materiali naturali
enfatizzandone le caratteristiche estetiche e tecniche
alla ricerca di una forma pulita ed essenziale in grado
di adattarsi ai pensieri delle persone.

it is really able adaptable to the needs of storage, it
is flexible, aggregated, interpreted over time so as to
make life more positive. By Researching these values
I have worked with natural materials emphasizing the

Architect and designer, while teaching at IED

Bilumen, Risolí, Bosa, Pavoni Italia, Deutsche
Bank. Some of his works are exhibited at the
“Museu de les Arts Decoratives” in Barcelona.
Nasce a Vicenza nel 1985. Dopo la laurea in
Disegno Industriale allo I.U.A.V. di Venezia nel
2007, collabora con lo studio Bartoli Design e
dal 2010 al 2013 lavora nello studio di Giulio Iacchetti. Nello stesso anno fonda il proprio studio
di progettazione, occupandosi di design a 360°
collaborando con numerose aziende, sia italiane che estere. I suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati
ed esposti in svariate riviste del settore.
He was born in 1985 in Vicenza. After gaining
his Industrial Design bachelor degree at I.U.A.V.
University of Venice in 2007, he had a six months
internship at Bartoli Design studio. From 2010 to
2013 he had been working for Giulio Iacchetti’s
design studio. In 2013 he founded his own design studio, working on the full spectrum of design and collaborating with several companies.
His work is covered by many design magazines
and exhibited in many events.

C12 work group, founded C12+ in 2007 and active in self produced design and design research. C12+ is formed by Anita Donna Bianco, C12

LaCimbali (macchine caffè); Riva1920 (mobili); Fiam Italia (vetro); Mediaset (elettronica);
FEB21st (luxury eywear). Dal 2009 è columnist
di car design per Mondadori.
Nato a Montebelluna (Treviso) nel 1977, designer eclettico. Dopo la laurea in Accademia
di Belle Arti, inizia l´attivitá di designer, interior
designer e graphic designer. Ha indirizzato la
sua ricerca verso un linguaggio formale che
potremmo definire minimalista e razionale. Comincia l´attivitá professionale disegnando i suoi
primi prodotti in ceramica, in seguito collabora
con diverse aziende con le quali partecipa alle
più importanti fiere internazionali.
Valerio Cometti, graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Milan’s Polytechnic, establishes
in 2005 “Valerio Cometti+V12 Design” in Milan.
Collaborations: Brionvega (television); Leucos
(lamps); LaCimbali (coffee machines); Riva1920
(furniture); Fiam Italia (glass); Mediaset (electronics); FEB31st (luxurious eyewear). Since 2009,
Valerio Cometti is car design columnist for
Mondadori.
He currently works as a product, furniture, and
interior designer, as well as being a lecturer at
SSS_AA and CSIA, two schools which specialise
in design and applied arts, located Switzerland.
His Mambrò Design Studio, founded in Chiasso in
2011, is a significant player in the flourishing European market. For Mambrò Design Studio, rediscovering and reinterpreting tradition in a contemporary climate are achieved through morphological,
technical and functional innovations.
Eclectic designer born in Montebelluna (Treviso ) in 1977. After graduating from the fine art’s
