Il Parco delle Biancane è una zona straordinaria per le manifestazioni
geotermiche di superficie che ne hanno modificato l’habitat naturale, rendendo
uniche le sue caratteristiche geologiche e climatiche e offrendo al visitatore un
panorama misterioso e affascinante, dominato da colonne di vapore che si
sprigionano dal sottosuolo , presenza di fumarole, putizze e lagoni, insieme a
pozzi geotermici e centrali elettriche.

The Park of Biancane is a special area for the geothermal evidences which have
changed its natural habitat, making peculiar its geologic and climatic conditions
and offering the visitors a mysterious and charming landscape, with its columns
of vapor coming out from the underground, its fumaroles, hydrogen sulphide
exhalations and geothermal wells together to electric power plants.
